El Celler de Can Roca is the most awarded restaurant in the city. First place for best restaurant in the world by Restaurant Magazine 2013 and second place in the years 2011, 2012. Located near the historic center of the city of Girona, the restaurant is managed by the Roca brothers (Josep Joan and Jordi) and work for natural and innovative gastronomy, following largely the legacy of el Bulli Restaurant (Ferran Adrià).

Iberian settlement in Sant Julià de Ramis

The archaeological site of Castellum Fractum is a few kilometers north of Girona, on the little mountain of Sant Julia, 190 meters high. At his feet runs the river Ter an the ancient Roman Via Augusta route, now N-II. Fabrica of Celra is an ancient modernist (Art Nouveau) factory built in 1902, in this village near Girona. It was originally create for Pagans Company, that made chemical products for animal skins. The sanctuary of Els Àngels

The Shrine of the Angels is located at 484 meters above sea level, on one of the highest mountains in the mountain ranges formed by the Gavarres.
