Poor hotel reaction to complaint over a sub standard meal Inadequate bar facility ,didn't encourage one to spend any time or money there.

Excellent location, just a few steps from the beach. We had a clean room with sea view and balcony. Room had fridge and safe. Friendly staff. Free parking close by. Would return.

Location, location, location, the hotel was right on the beach in Llafranch which has to be one of the nicest on the Costa Brava. It was a very clean, family run hotel and the staff were helpful. Our room was adequate albeit a bit pokey. The hotel, however, was very reasonably priced for such an expensive area.

Unfortunately we didn't have a room with a view of the beach, we just looked out, over the road which albeit very quiet, wasn't very exciting. There are, actually very few rooms which do have a view of the sea. I would probably only stay there again if I did have a view of the beach.

The hotel is very well located, just in front of the beach and close to several restaurants.The room was very confortable and quiet.

Superb location opposite beautiful beach. Close to various restaurants. Easy walking nearby. Good breakfast. Books to borrow, UK newspapers and TV channels too.

bring some mosquito repellent if you plan to eat outside in the evening - there are a few around.

The restaurant was excellent and offered a very good set menu at lunch and dinner. We tried both and thought both were fantastic value as they included a bottle of wine per couple.

We only booked a standard room which was fine but a sea facing room would be nicer. The standard room was quite small.

Room with a view of the beach is worth the upgrade. Excellent restaurants in the area with fresh seafood. Lovely walks. Take the train to Calella for dinner one night.

The hotel is located direct to the beach, the rooms with terras are clean and spacious and the restaurant serves a good breakfast as well dinner. You can park your car for free up on the hill.

the location beside the beach and in the centre of llafranc was wonderful. The receptionists on duty Tues/Friday were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food at the terrace restaurant by the sea was enjoyable though service could be erratic

Room and bathroom really small and facilities basic.Not even room for standard baggage/case rack which is usually standard in hotel rooms. hotel booked taxi for me to Calella 17.50e(5 minute trip) Restaurant booked taxi back to LLafranc 10.65e

The hotel was right next to the beach. We had a superior room which was large, bright and airy with a terrace with a table and chaors, from which we could see the sea and countryside around it. At night the sound of the sea was very peaceful, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had a very nice bath and shower.

Nothing serious - we had some minor troubles with the Internet.

Great views of the beach from patio rooms. A bit expensive, but one of few sea-front options in Llafranch.

There is a taxi rank just on the corner; waiting drunk people & taxi driver talks could be quite disturbing in the middle of the night. * There is a single car drop-off point and parking spaces are not very close. Could be difficult to load/unload at busy times.

The location on the edge of the sea is ideal. The restaurant served the best food we had in Llafranch. Room overlooking the sea was clean, well equipped and comfortable

Hotel Terrarmar is located right on the beach of L'Lfranch . It is a pleasant hotel in a beautiful little town - one of the most on the Costa Brava . The dining rooms of this hotel has been upgraded

The staff at the Terramar are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The resort is lovely. The food is wonderful. We will return next year.

Parking very difficult even in off season, and poor road signage

First room was disappointing, but afte approaching the front desk they relocated us into a great room. They were friendly and courteous and helpful throughout. The restaurant was an unexpected pleasure - we looked to dine out but the Terrassa Terramar was one of the best restaurants around, so we were happy to eat there.

We were initially allocated to a disappointing room - perfectly clean but interior balcony rather than the sea view we had sought. No bar in the hotel so no-where to easily invite friends back or relax. Minor gripes, and the overall experience was very positive.

The accommodations are pretty basic, but the room was clean and bright. The wifi worked well. The breakfast spread was great, and the staff was friendly. The location is amazing - literally steps from the beach. The food at the restaurant was delicious. A great value for the money, we would stay there again.

Two twin beds pushed together instead of one big bed. I don't understand why this is so common in Europe!

Amazing location - waking up to the sounds of the ocean! Friendly staff and good restaurant. The rooms seem very recently renovated.everything great! Take the walk along the coast!!!
