Location, location, location, the hotel was right on the beach in Llafranch which has to be one of the nicest on the Costa Brava. It was a very clean, family run hotel and the staff were helpful. Our room was adequate albeit a bit pokey. The hotel, however, was very reasonably priced for such an expensive area.

Unfortunately we didn't have a room with a view of the beach, we just looked out, over the road which albeit very quiet, wasn't very exciting. There are, actually very few rooms which do have a view of the sea. I would probably only stay there again if I did have a view of the beach.

The hotel is very well located, just in front of the beach and close to several restaurants.The room was very confortable and quiet.

The restaurant was excellent and offered a very good set menu at lunch and dinner. We tried both and thought both were fantastic value as they included a bottle of wine per couple.

We only booked a standard room which was fine but a sea facing room would be nicer. The standard room was quite small.

Room with a view of the beach is worth the upgrade. Excellent restaurants in the area with fresh seafood. Lovely walks. Take the train to Calella for dinner one night.

Хороший номер с видом на море. Еда качественная на завтрак и на ужин. Хорошая ежедневная уборка. По просьбе предоставили чайник для чая или кофе. Интернет в номере бесплатный, работал хорошо. Стоянка для автомобиля платная 11 евро сутки.

Отдых спокойный, молодежи лучше отдыхать в другом месте.

El hotel está situado en el paseo marítimo de Llafranc, delante de la playa. Muy recomendable caminar 15 minutos por el camino de la ronda y llegar hasta la playa de Calella de palafrugell. El wifi es gratuito y con buena cobertura, y la habitacion tenía nevera. El hotel tiene dos restaurantes que están muy bien, uno hace menú diario por 25€, y el otro es un italiano, más económico.

Teníamos las expectativas bastante altas tras la buena nota que tiene en booking y similares, y nos hemos llevado una grandísima decepción. En primer lugar, la habitación que nos dieron no se corresponde a la fotos que hay colgadas en la web. Es un engaño. Reservamos la económica sin balcón a la playa, pero el mobiliario, tamaño, etc. no tiene nada que ver con las fotos disponibles. La decoración es obsoleta, antiquísima. La cama era diminuta: mediría 180cm de largo, además de muelles y tendría más de 25 años. Imposible descansar, y te despertabas con la espalda destrozada. No funcionaba el mando de la tv. El parking costaba 11€, y estaba a 150 metros del hotel! Debería de ser gratis! Aparcamos los 3 días en la calle sin pagar y más cerca que este... El lavabo era mini, y tenía el bidet justo delante del inodoro, por lo que era imposible sentarte correctamente en este. Tenías que sentarte a 90º o abrir las piernas 180º... la habitación tenía una nevera, y supuestamente cada día te reponían dos botellitas de agua. Un día no lo hicieron. En general, muy decepcionados por la habitación. No sé si hay habitaciones reformadas y otras no, o no me lo explico. Muy mala relación de calidad-precio. No repetiremos.

The hotel is located direct to the beach, the rooms with terras are clean and spacious and the restaurant serves a good breakfast as well dinner. You can park your car for free up on the hill.

Todo. La habitación no es grande pero confortable, el baño perfecto, la terraza frente al mar divina. La limpieza impecable y el trato del personal estupendo. El desayuno buffet muy completo y bueno.

Sería de agradecer que el desayuno estuviera incluido en el precio de la habitación.

the location beside the beach and in the centre of llafranc was wonderful. The receptionists on duty Tues/Friday were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food at the terrace restaurant by the sea was enjoyable though service could be erratic

The hotel was right next to the beach. We had a superior room which was large, bright and airy with a terrace with a table and chaors, from which we could see the sea and countryside around it. At night the sound of the sea was very peaceful, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had a very nice bath and shower.

Nothing serious - we had some minor troubles with the Internet.

Parking very difficult even in off season, and poor road signage

First room was disappointing, but afte approaching the front desk they relocated us into a great room. They were friendly and courteous and helpful throughout. The restaurant was an unexpected pleasure - we looked to dine out but the Terrassa Terramar was one of the best restaurants around, so we were happy to eat there.

We were initially allocated to a disappointing room - perfectly clean but interior balcony rather than the sea view we had sought. No bar in the hotel so no-where to easily invite friends back or relax. Minor gripes, and the overall experience was very positive.

The accommodations are pretty basic, but the room was clean and bright. The wifi worked well. The breakfast spread was great, and the staff was friendly. The location is amazing - literally steps from the beach. The food at the restaurant was delicious. A great value for the money, we would stay there again.

Two twin beds pushed together instead of one big bed. I don't understand why this is so common in Europe!
