Solterra Palace is a remarkable and noble XV century Gothic building that housed the Catalan nobility for centuries in Torroella de Montgrí historical center. Today it is one of the venues of the Vila Casas Foundation and shows photography and painting exhibitions (it also organises series of art conferences). This magnificent building has a very elegant Renaissance decoration and through a walk inside we will discover luxurious rooms, a beautiful entrance staircase with ornate carved columns and wrought iron railing, doors with carved stone lintels, luxury fireplaces, etc. A very well maintained beautiful palace.
