The Music Festival of Torroella de Montgrí village, in the center of the Costa Brava, is celebrated since 1980. During the months of July and August performances are organized traditionally in the Gothic church of Sant Genís, by musicians and singers of reputation. Among the repertoire of genres that include these performances you'll find chamber music, song recitals, symphony concerts, church music and even jazz. Here have come during last years figures internationally recognized as Russian soprano Julia Lezhneva or mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter.
