Carcaixells are some peaks inside the Ardenya Mountains that we can see from the walkpath, part of it Via Ferrata, that crosses this wood in Santa Cristina d'Aro. We will also reach the Montclar peak (0,25 miles above the sea), the neolitic cove la Tuna, Can Llauradó menhir and the Plana Basarda iberian settlement. All these places are not far from Santa Feliu de Guíxols and Tossa de Mar.
