Punta Falconera takes its name from the traditional presence of hawks nests in this wonderful natural place, the southernmost part of the Cap de Creus. It is the stretch of coastline that separates the sandy beaches of Almadrava and Canyelles Petites beaches (at south) from Montjoi Bay (north), and it is crossed by a total of 29 coastal paths that will delight hikers and that will allow enjoying beautiful scenic views. On this area were built in the mid-twentieth century discrete bunkers, currently abandoned, and each spring the Roses village people held a festival on this emblematic place.
