Quart is a peaceful village just 2 km. southeast of the city of Girona. Because of its great pottery tradition, which goes back to seven centuries ago, according to the documentation that is still preserved, recently opened in an old brick factory, Can Ginesta, a 1926 building, this modern museum showing the great importance of the development of ceramics in the village through the creation of plates, pitchers, vases and many other traditional spanish recipients for drinking and cooking.
