Mas Pla is the traditional Catalan farmhouse (masia) where spent a great part of his life Josep Pla. the best Ampurdán and the Costa Brava known writer. In fact he died here on April 23, 1981. You can see from the road the large size of this farmhouse and the lands around, still in possession of the heirs. This large farmhouse has its origins in the seventeenth century and Josep Pla's parents bought it in the early twentieth century, during the first years of the writer's life.
