This fifteenth-century castle which lies about 425 meters above the mountain Puig Castellar, offers also an excellent panoramic view over the city of Girona, Pyrenees, mountains and even Montgrí Medes Islands on clear days.

    The Shrine of the Angels is located at 484 meters above sea level, on one of the highest mountains in the mountain ranges formed by the Gavarres.
