The Lion's Ass is a column on which stands the sculpture of this animal, opposite the church of Sant Feliu, in the historic center of Girona. Since ancient, Girona habitants invited visitors to kiss it as a gesture of hospitality and integration. It has become a tradition for tourists who pass by her, to be photographed kissing its ass or just touching it. The original column, from the twelfth century, is located in the Girona Art Museum, and this is a faithful replica installed in 1986.
