This house has a private terrace with great views over Empuriabrava’s marina, a large complex of interconnecting canals. It has a spacious lounge with parquet floors, sofas and a TV.
Split over 3 levels, Casa El Currican has a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a room with a single bed and bunk beds. The kitchen includes a hob, oven and microwave, as well as a washing machine and dishwasher.
Outside the house there is a private mooring space, available for an extra cost. There is also a parking space for a small car.
The centre of Empuriavbrava is 1.5 km from Casa El Currican, where you can find a bus stop and a sandy beach. There is a supermarket within 7 minutes’ walk. Cadaqués and Figueres, home to Salvador Dalí museums, are within a 30-minute drive.

Santa Margarida and Empuriabrava are two large residential marinas built in the 1960s with navigable canals and an aerodrome, which is known internationally as a centre for parachute jumping. These tourist facilities – on land, sea and air – are in sharp contrast to the peace and quiet of the nearby wetlands.
The Empordà Marshes Natural Park is a haven to over 300 species of migrating birds on their annual flights from Europe to Africa. It is a blend of natural and man-made landscapes: lagoons, pastureland enclosed by irrigation ditches and canals, and farmhouses.
The presence of storks, flamingos, ducks and other species makes it a must for any birdlover, but those who just like strolling through fine scenery will also enjoy it.
