The location was excellent. The rooms had ample space and were kept spotlessly clean, as was the pool area, restaurant, and the communal areas. The food was delicious. Each and every member of staff we encountered were helpful, friendly and courteous.

The Hotel Flamingo is a welcoming hotel with a family atmosphere. It is 1000 ft from the beach and very close to the shopping center. It is located conveniently for diving activities L'Estartit's Medas Islands Nature Reserve.

There are also 3 golf courses nearby. Hotel bedrooms have private bathrooms, air conditioned, with balcony, telephone and TV. The hotel also has an elevator, 2 bars and an outdoor pool with terrace.

A varied buffet breakfast is served at the Hotel Flamingo.

Near Torroella, L’Estartit was a fishermen’s district until the 19th century.

Today it is a popular holiday destination with a bustling marina. The archipelago of seven small islands, known as the Medes Islands, constitutes an important ecological reserve and a hugely popular destination among divers. It features a protected coral reserve and glass-bottom boats travel back and forth to the islands.

North of L’Estartit, where the Montgrí massif meets the sea, rise the highest cliffs in Catalonia (100 metres high) with navigable tunnels such as La Foradada, only accessible by sea and hiking trails.

To the south, at the mouths of the Ter and Daró rivers, hikers can enjoy spectacular trails through salt lakes and mobile dunes.

Fuimos de fin de semana y el hotel estaba bastante vacio, en cambio nos dieron una habitación con vistas a una pared del edificio de enfrente. Los desagües del baño olían mal por lo que la habitación olía igual. Solo pasamos 1 noche y decidimos no decir nada en recepción.	6.7

Tevens was de kamer totaal te verduisteren wat geen overbodige luxe was met de zonovergoten dagen die wij hadden! Werd je in ieder geval niet al te vroeg wakker! - de airco in de kamer werkte perfect. - Voor 2 nachten wilden wij een extra bed + ontbijt voor een familielid. Dat was totaal geen probleem en tegen lage kosten. - Ontbijt was prima. - alle winkels/restaurant(je)s dichtbij - strand dichtbij - zelfs een nederlands sprekende huisarts om de hoek! - Geen koelkastje in de kamer. Hoeft niet gevuld te zijn. Al is het alleen maar om de flessen water koel te houden. - Aan de overkant van het plein is een uitgaansgelegenheid waar 's nachts wat dreunende muziek vandaan komt. Als de gelegenheden sluiten is het best lawaaiig. Niet echt last van gehad. - als je geen parkeerplaats van het hotel huurt is het (vaak) een probleem om je (huur)auto in de buurt van het hotel te parkeren.	7.5

78 Gerard Family with young children France, France	hotel calme, bien placé pres du centre animé et de la plage. personnel francophone ce qui est agréable quand on est limité par le fait de bien parler la langue du pays. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer zur Strassenseite,gegenüber befanden sich einige Discotheken.Um 1Uhr spielte die Musik so laut bis 4Uhr dann noch das Gegröhle von den Discobesuchern auf dem freien Platz vor unserem Balkon, jede Nacht das gleiche,das war sehr störend!!! 79 Mari Family with young children Spain, Spain	La ubicación del hotel. La habitación de tamaño correcto. El desayuno variado y abundante. Fuimos de fin de semana y el hotel estaba bastante vacio, en cambio nos dieron una habitación con vistas a una pared del edificio de enfrente. Los desagües del baño olían mal por lo que la habitación olía igual. Solo pasamos 1 noche y decidimos no decir nada en recepción.	7.5
