Hotel Surf Mar is in Lloret de Mar
Lloret de Mar is a tourist village on the south Costa Brava with so many services as Platja d'Aro. However, the conversion of Lloret into one of the main resorts on the Costa Brava has not made it forget its own origins, which are brilliantly preserved and that are shown proudly to those wishing to spend their holidays in this extraordinary zone of the coast.
What was once a fishing village that developed on a long beach stretching from Sa Caravera to Sa Caleta has changed considerably. The town also features beaches (Cala Canyelles and Sa Somera to the north, and Fenals and Santa Cristina to the south), period houses on the seafront promenade, a boat procession held in July during which flower-decked boats carry the relics of Santa Cristina, and history showcased in the Museum of the Sea, located in the Indiano (i.e. built with money made in the Americas) building known as Can Garriga and containing an extensive collection of model ships. Lloret, a popular tourist destination among English and German young people, has a large concentration of accommodation options and tourist facilities, including a casino. An impressively large Roman tomb is found at the entrance
to the town.
The offer of Lloret de Mar aimed at those who love beaches and creeks is generous. Next to the center of town is Lloret Beach (Platja de Lloret), the longest in the village. Getting to it will be very easy, even if by car, since parking is available opposite the beach. This is a beach of fine white sand that has all the necessary facilities for bathers: sun beds and umbrellas rentals, water skiing, kayaking, restaurants, showers, etc.
Another beach, a little out of the center is Cala Canyelles, accessible from the road to Tossa de Mar. It is the only beach in Lloret de Mar that has a port. It's also covered by white sand, so typical in the Costa Brava as the golden sand, and is surrounded by a thick forest of pines, which makes this environment very attractive.
Other beaches of Lloret de Mar, also well-known, are Fenals Beach (Platja de Fenals, that can be reached by a coast walkway), Sa Caleta Beach, Boadella Creek, Santa Cristina Beach (the latter situated between two hills, is protected from wind and waves, so it is a very sheltered beach) and Treumal Beach.
The center also offers some important points of interest that worth a visit. Next to Boadella Creek on a cliff line, you can find Santa Clotilde Gardens, designed in Italian Renaissance style and that has a certain resemblance to the Boboli or Giusti ones, in Italy.
Other sites of interest are the Sant Joan Castle (the interior can be visited), the Casa Cabañas, the Monument of Apollo and Daphne, the Source of Canaletas, the Sardana monument, and the monument to the to the Sailor's Wife, located in the southern part of Playa de Lloret.

Location - extremely close to beach (1 block away) Service. 1) Website says each room has a safety lock box. However, guests have to pay to use the safety lock box! 2) When I noticed my terrace door did not have a lock (it had clearly been broken off in the past) and notified the hotel staff, at first they did not want to do anything and said it would be fixed the next day. When I inquired how my stuff would remain safe (since I was on the 1st floor) and demanded to be moved to a room with a functioning lock, they argued and finally agreed to move me. Afterwards, they said "they gave me a free upgrade and did not charge me" but in actuality, they gave me the room next to my previous room (it was exactly the same) and of course they should not charge me for the switch. |

location very good, so easy to get to the beach and some decent restaurants in area, hotel food was just ok, staff accommodating to requests made for baby, pool area next to bar/patio had a nice feel not a 4 star hotel, the whole hotel needs an update in decor and facilities and staff training- seems the owner is just taking advantage of location and not willing to improve much...mini golf course was an eye sore rusted/old not at all as in pics. Some staff too serious/disgruntled and really slow to provide service when not attending other clients making you stand around and wait long...dont understand that for a 4 star hotel. Bathroom smell - sometimes sewage like smell, we were on 1st floor. No cash machines near hotel. |

1st line, everyday cleaning Noise insulation is missing. Pets are allowed. Animals are constantly howling and barking. It is impossible to sleep during the day in the room. Staff is idle. Dinner is very poor. I don't recommend this hotel for families with young children and mature couples. The hotel is suitable only for a night's sleeping (from 1 to 6 am). It's pointless to pay for the first line in such conditions. |

В итоге "еле-еле" нашли номер с видом на бассейн - хотя этот номер была рядом с тем, что нам дали сначала. Про вид на море я вообще молчу - за него надо доплачивать по 20 евро в сутки.. Номера староватые, шторы в дырках. Пластиковый столик на балконе прожжен сигаретой. Вещи сушить негде. Некоторые полотенца в дырках, одно полотенце нам дали с прилипшим использованным пластырем.. Завтраки очень бедные, разнообразием и не пахнут... питаться неделю жареными яйцами и консервированными фруктами не очень приятно.. Wifi дороговат - 5 евро/сутки. Холодильника в номере нет. Если соседи купаются или смывают унитаз - такое чувство, как будто на вас обрушивается водопад.. Телевизор где-то под потолком, размером в спичечный коробок. Шезлонги возле бассейна очень старые и грязные... Мини-гольф ржавый и старый. Кроме расположения отелю похвастаться нечем... Фотографии на сайте красивые, но в действительности не все так хорошо... |

La ubicación a pie de la playa de Fenals es fantástica, rodeado además de buenos restaurantes. El entorno es muy tranquilo y limpio, ideal para vacaciones en familia (no tiene nada que ver con el centro de Lloret de Mar, que es un hervidero de gente y sobre todo de jóvenes extrangeros que viven más de noche que de día). El hotel dispone de buenas instalaciones comunes (salones, piscinas, canchas de tenis, fútbol, baloncesto, etc.) y de animación, pero sobre todo muy bien para los niños pequeños el parque con columpios y toboganes, y la piscina de bolas en el restaurante. Lo que menos me ha gustado del hotel, motivo por el que no lo recomendaría a familiares o amigos, es la antigüedad y situación de desgaste de todo el mobiliario y equipamiento de las habitaciones y la falta de detalles en las mismas. Las instalaciones exteriores y comunes están bien, pero las habitaciones dejan mucho que desear. El 90% de la ocupación del hotel es de origen extranjero (Ruso, principalmente) por lo que los horarios de restaurante y shows de animación están totalmente adaptados a sus costumbres, y el huésped español se puede sentir un poco incómodo en ocasiones. El Horario de cena del restaurante, tan solo hasta las 21.30, y varios días a las 21.20 ya estaba todo recogido... El trato y la atención por parte del personal en general fue bueno, si bien algunos camareros/as dan prioridad a salir pronto de trabajar antes que satisfacer a los clientes. Son muy pocos los que sonríen, independientemente del turno en el que trabajen, no así en la recepción, donde son siempre muy amables. |

Поселили нас на первом этаже (2+1).Номер понравился.Есть фен, но нет холодильника.Я пользовалась холодильником для детского питания,который стоит на нулевом этаже.Территория отеля замечательная! Много растений,деревьев.Отличная площадка для детей! Бассейны тоже хорошие, и детский и взрослый.Анимация нормальная)) А вот питание совсем не понравилось! Не вкусно! Полуфабрикаты практически всегда пережарены, часто была еда холодной. Я бы не советовала брать питание...Но есть плюс в ресторане, детский игровой комплекс))) Так же в гостинице есть игровая детская комната с автоматами.Wi-fi как-то дороговато,( 5 евро день) поэтому не пользовались.До пляжа 3 минуты,надо только перейти дорогу.Вход в воду наверно под углом 45 градусов, вода чистая,прозрачная.В песке многовато окурков((Прямо здесь же ходят экскурсионные корабли. Отель замечательно расположен, через небольшую дорогу от моря. Во дворе довольно большая зеленая территория с бассейном. Отель как-будто сделан из картона. Слышно как ходят люди сверху, по коридору, как переговариваются соседи. Закрытые окна совсем не гарантируют, что шум с улицы не проникнет в номер. Номера со стороны бассейна выходят окнами на кафе отеля, в котором допоздна играет музыка и шумят люди. Завтраки абсолютно одинаковые каждый день с небольшими вариациями в части фруктов. |

расположение всё остальное. цена не соответствует качеству. отдыхают в основном русские и сербы, хорваты. в номере и на балконе негде сушить мокрые полотенца и вещи, кроме как на перилах балкона. в результате, ветром (или еще каким-то образом) вещи исчезают. как пример, шорты Levi’s за 55 евро. от персонала в таком случае не чего не добьешься, разводят руками и сразу перестают понимать русский язык, как и английский. около бассейна пропали детские шлепки и бандана. ситуация аналогичная, не чего не приносили и не находили. были бы в отели немцы, все бы лежало там, где было оставлено или упало с балкона. в отеле нет прачечной, негде стирать грязные вещи, как и потом, сушить их. еда однообразная и скудная, что очень надоедает. пообедать в любом ресторанчике – 50 евро на семью. на майорке было 30 евро, на тенерифе 20 евро. в последние дни проживания в отель вселили балканский пионерский лагерь. стало еще хуже. шумно, грязно, кругом следы мокрых ног, в столовке к еде не пробиться, ведут себя отвратительно и никто их не контролирует. вывод - испорченный отпуск и напрасно потраченные деньги. |
