Guitart Monterrey is in Lloret de Mar
Lloret de Mar is a tourist village on the south Costa Brava with so many services as Platja d'Aro. However, the conversion of Lloret into one of the main resorts on the Costa Brava has not made it forget its own origins, which are brilliantly preserved and that are shown proudly to those wishing to spend their holidays in this extraordinary zone of the coast.
What was once a fishing village that developed on a long beach stretching from Sa Caravera to Sa Caleta has changed considerably. The town also features beaches (Cala Canyelles and Sa Somera to the north, and Fenals and Santa Cristina to the south), period houses on the seafront promenade, a boat procession held in July during which flower-decked boats carry the relics of Santa Cristina, and history showcased in the Museum of the Sea, located in the Indiano (i.e. built with money made in the Americas) building known as Can Garriga and containing an extensive collection of model ships. Lloret, a popular tourist destination among English and German young people, has a large concentration of accommodation options and tourist facilities, including a casino. An impressively large Roman tomb is found at the entrance
to the town.
The offer of Lloret de Mar aimed at those who love beaches and creeks is generous. Next to the center of town is Lloret Beach (Platja de Lloret), the longest in the village. Getting to it will be very easy, even if by car, since parking is available opposite the beach. This is a beach of fine white sand that has all the necessary facilities for bathers: sun beds and umbrellas rentals, water skiing, kayaking, restaurants, showers, etc.
Another beach, a little out of the center is Cala Canyelles, accessible from the road to Tossa de Mar. It is the only beach in Lloret de Mar that has a port. It's also covered by white sand, so typical in the Costa Brava as the golden sand, and is surrounded by a thick forest of pines, which makes this environment very attractive.
Other beaches of Lloret de Mar, also well-known, are Fenals Beach (Platja de Fenals, that can be reached by a coast walkway), Sa Caleta Beach, Boadella Creek, Santa Cristina Beach (the latter situated between two hills, is protected from wind and waves, so it is a very sheltered beach) and Treumal Beach.
The center also offers some important points of interest that worth a visit. Next to Boadella Creek on a cliff line, you can find Santa Clotilde Gardens, designed in Italian Renaissance style and that has a certain resemblance to the Boboli or Giusti ones, in Italy.
Other sites of interest are the Sant Joan Castle (the interior can be visited), the Casa Cabañas, the Monument of Apollo and Daphne, the Source of Canaletas, the Sardana monument, and the monument to the to the Sailor's Wife, located in the southern part of Playa de Lloret.

Parking and soooooo many little details, failing over and over again. Employees, with a couple of exceptions, are not 5 stars, far from it. And, in spite of not being spanish, I cannot be anything else than amazed that most employees, in Spain, don't speak spanish! Overall, not a 5 star hotel. I've been in much better 4 stars. Great hotel with great facilities. Staff speak English and are very efficient. Kids enjoyed the pool and play area. We loved the spa. Free shuttle to beach is a bonus |

La persona que gestiona el beachclub, Antini, es extremadamente amable y dispuesto a colaborar en todo, un 10 !! Los servicios no se corresponden con un 5*. Las fotos aparentan mas de lo que es el hotel, habitaciones, zona restaurante, piscina... El buffet es escaso. En realidad es un hotel de 4*, pendiente de renovar !! Desde luego el precio es abusivo para los servicios y calidad que tiene. El ultimo día el conductor dl transfer a la playa se negó a realizar un servicio adicional, que el propio hotel ofrecía y no pudimo estar en la playa hasta las 18.15 !! |

La verdure de cet hotel et son emplacement! En ville sans aucun bruit très bien isolé! Car c'est une ville de jeune! Cet hotel est en retrait mais pas trop ..personnel gentil mais ils oublient beaucoup de chose..matelas des lits + que confortable !!!!! 5Etoiles à lloret de mar c'est un 4 etoiles en france !!! on a demander a la reception 3fois d'avoir un lit double ce que j'avais commander ils n'ont pas pu nous en donner un donc ils nous ont proposer de ns faire un lit a l'italienne un grd drap sur les 2lits pour que les lits soient collés! Au bout du 3e jour seulement ns l'avons eu malgre +sieur de nos appel a la reception! Le message ne passait pas! Télé pas digne d'un 5etoiles ! une ancienne tv avec le gros tube catodique , la tv d'ailleurs qui ne captais pas bien , 21€ juste une entrecote et 3pommes de terres trop cher parce que ce n'est pas de la gastronomie , vu le prix on croirait mais non une simple entrecote sans execption. Mieux vaut manger dans les restaurant au bord de mer tres bon poissons!!!!! Bien servi pas cher du tout ! ne pas aller en aout trop cher pour ce que c'est...(attention je compare avec la france!) |

La hospitalidad de varios empleados. La comprension d la administracion y el deseo d solucionar nuestros problemas durante la estadia. El equipamiento del hotel y la competencia de sus empleados no son dignos de un hotel 5 estrellas. El spa tuvo la piscina con agua fria durante tres dias hasta q los clientes se manifestaron. Ningun empleado se habia dado cuenta. La mayoria d los botones activadores d hidromasaje estan rotos. El menu gastronomico d 32 € no es apetitoso ni de buena calidad. Nos toco por falta d lugar una habitacion para discapacitados con ducha lo q hacia una inundacion en el bano cada vez q la utilizabamos. Durante las comidas nos faltaban sistematicamente tazas, cicharillas, servilletas. O simplemente se olvidaban o confundian nuestro pedido. El personal d limpieza d habitaciones era extremadamente ruidoso(gritos en el pasillo) e imprudente (directamente habrian la puerta d la habitacion si no les contestabamos en el acto!). Perdida de una manana completa intentando reparar el error d la pagina internet d booking ya q nuestra bb d 2 meses pagaba media pension Creo q con el precio de 2000€ q pagamos una estadia d cinco noches esperabamos mucho mas d un hotel 5 estrellas deberia tener empleados mas eficientes. |
