B&B La Rectoria de Sant Miquel de Pineda is set in the Garrotxa Volcanic Nature Reserve, 12 km from Olot. Set in large gardens, this renovated 12th-century rectory offers free Wi-Fi and free parking.
The rustic rooms are heated and feature garden or mountain views. They have tiled floors, a wardrobe and a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries.
A free breakfast is served and the dining room overlooks the gardens. Catalan cuisine, using local ingredients, is mixed with French and Scottish influences. Special diet menus and packed lunches can be requested.
A laundry and ironing service is available and you can hire a bicycle. There are 2 lounges, one with a fireplace and the other with a TV.

La Rectoria is a hidden gem in a perfect location. The owners even provide tourist maps and information. The evening meals are wonderful and a perfect way to end a day of hiking, biking or touring. The welcome and service provided by Goretti and Roy was second to none. We would definitely recommend the half board option as the evening meals were excellent. The peace and quiet of the location, with its easy access to foot and cycle paths was ideal, in addition to the places to visit in the surrounding area (volcanoes around Olot; spectacular viewing points at Santuari de la Salut, Santuari del Far etc etc) Our room was one of the smaller ones, which was ok, but next time we'll make sure to book one of the bigger rooms, as they are the same price anyway. |

Our stay at the B&B La Rectoria was wonderful! I stayed there with my boyfriend and my parents and their friends who were on holiday from Canada. The place was warm and inviting with all the creature comforts of home. The hosts, Roy and Goretti, were super welcoming and helpful and went out of their way to make sure our stay with them was an exceptional one. It's the kind of place where you feel naturally at home and don't want to leave. We decided to stay in and eat each evening and good thing we did because the food was DELICIOUS! They are also really accommodating if you have any special dietary needs. You won't find a meal like this, for that price, anywhere. It's also a great option after a long day out and about exploring the area, which is full of different things to see. I highly recommend staying with this lovely family. La localización, la habitación acogedora, el trato,.. Que no hay televisión e las habitaciones y que la habitación que nos tocó la pared que separa el baño de la habitación hay unos cuadros que traansparentan y se ve todo. El check out debía ser antes de las 11. El desayuno era muy poco variado y apenas cantidad. |
