Located just 330 yards from a beach and 110 yards from the center of the resort, on the hotel's grounds you will find a swimming pool, a lounge, ping-pong on site and weekly events including Flamenco dancing and live music.

Imagine a place where travelling through time, back to the past. Tossa de Mar is something like an outdoor museum. Its prehistoric remains from roman Turissa go through the medieval Tursa into modern Tossa. Once a meeting point for intellectuals (Marc Chagall, Picasso), now a very beloved touristic destination, Tossa de Mar is one of the most beautiful village in the Costa Brava.
Tossa de Mar is one of those typical coastal towns of the Empordà, where we find the pines growing and reaching sea, almost touching the water.
Tossa's economy, some centuries ago, was based on the cork and wine industry. However, the filming of 'Pandora' in 1950 (starring Ava Gardner), parallel to the beginning of the village as a tourist destination on the Costa Brava, turned this beautiful coastal location into one of the best known around the world. For this reason tourism has become the main economic engine of the town during last decades.
Tossa's origins are pre-Roman. Known as Turissa, it enjoys an exceptional geographic location, situated between Lloret de Mar (south) and Sant Feliu de Guixols (north). To get there you must take the road GI-682, which passes through the two mentioned locations. Both coming from Lloret and from Sant Feliu, the views from the road are fantastic. It is almost obligatory stop at one of the many panoramic viewpoints marked through the edge of the road to watch and take pictures of the views of the creeks that are visible from there. Through this way you can access beautiful and spectacular beaches such as Cala Giverola, Cala del Senyor Raimon, Cala Vallpresona, Cala Canyet, etc.
From Roman times Tossa still keeps the villa of Els Ametllers, located in av. of Pelegri, 3-5, near the Torre de Sant Magí (St. Magí Tower). Discovered by Dr. Ignasi Melee in 1914, it has its origin in the first century BC and was inhabited until the sixth century AD. It's really a great honor to Tossa to have one of the best towns in the former province of Tarraco, which has survived until today. In els Ametllers the owners cultivated grapes and exported wine to the rest of the Roman Empire. It is therefore a classic example of farming in the Mediterranean area dominated by the Romans.
Already in the center of town, you have to visit the walled enclosure, which is exactly the Vila Vella de Tossa. Listed as National Historic-Artistic Monument by the Spanish government, its walls now represent the only example of a fortified medieval town on the Catalan coast. It is composed of seven watchtowers (including, for example, d'en Joan, Codolar and Heures).
It is highly recommended to walk through the streets of this small walled area and get to the Faro de Tossa (Tossa Lighthouse), which overlooks a magnificent view of the rocky coastline south of village.
Tossa Lighthouse (1917), located on the highest part of the Vila Vella de Tossa has become the Lighthouse Interpretation Centre (Centro de Interpretación de Faros) of our coastline. This innovative equipment in the museum domain is a point of reference for all those interested in the world of maritime signals. It is an audiovisual center, adapted to visitors in several languages that teaches us the history and the different technologies used in the world of lighthouses and the lifestyle of their guardians, the lighthouse keepers. The space devoted to museum gives us the chance to see different parts of this maritime heritage.
Outside the Walls, bounded by the streets Portal and Estolt, you find the district of Sa Roqueta, a traditional place of fishermen formed in the first stage of Tossa urban expansion, back in the XVI century. Further, following the street Portal, is the commercial center of town.
The walk along the seafront of Tossa, from the walls to the beach of Mar Menuda is also a nice experience. This tour will allow you to enjoy the sea and the spectacular views of the Cape of Tossa and the fortified ancient villa previously described.
The Municipal Museum, housed in the Batlle Palace, bears testimony to the passage through Tossa of Marc Chagall, André Masson, Joaquim Sunyer and other painters captivated by this landscape.
Tossa boasts fine beaches such as Llorell and Morisca, and one of the most beautiful stretches on this coastline: the road to Sant Feliu de Guíxols (twenty-five kilometres of bend after bend) through the coves of Salions, Futadera, Giverola and Pola.

The garden with pool was a lovely view..although it was a cold week... Great service, lovely clean rooms. Would highly recommend. It was like we were sharing a room with other guests.. You could hear people's conversations, mobiles ringing, just very noisy and doors slamming.. There should be signs up to respect others in the rooms below.. All you can hear is people above and next to you. |

Veramente un hotel eccellente, grande classe abbinata a grande professionalità, cortesia e dedizione da parte del personale, che parla praticamente tutte le lingue. Colazione al mattino veramente ottima e variata, con personale di sala molto efficiente.. Camera molto confortevole con aria condizionata e balcone con tavolo e sedie. A disposizione gli ambienti comuni quali bar e piscina (anche per I bimbi piccoli). Internet gratuito di altissima qualità. Due ragioni: 1) l'impianto idrico è molto rumoroso (si sente lo scorrere dell'acqua anche delle stanze vicine); 2) lo scarico dei bagagli è molto disagevole (pur essendo là accanto uno spazio che non viene messo a disposizione dei clienti. Manca anche un piano per appoggiare la valigia in camera, ma questa è una "sciocchezza" ininfluente sulla valutazione. |

тосса де мар прекрасный старинный город. холл отеля декорирован под респектабельный арт-отель. на этом плюсы заканчиваются. 3-х местный номер - это стандартный тесный двухместный номер, 17 кв. м, половину из которых занимает узкий нефункциональный коридор и совмещенный санузел. при этом оплата берется как за полноценный трехместный. дизайн комнаты может вызвать депрессию даже у самого жизнерадостного и уравновешенного туриста: стены - неряшливо нашлепанная колючая штукатурка, в мебели полнейший минимализм, подушки- узкий валик, одеяло солдатское без пододеяльника, холодильник отсуствует, вид из окна "на горы" предполагает, что ваш взгляд упирается в заросшую травой стену на расстоянии 2х метров от окна, из-за этого в комнате постоянный полумрак и сырость, даже в солнечный день приходилось включать тусклые лампочки. в ванной старая неухоженная сантехника, стены выложены старой дешевой плиткой мрачного голубого цвета. в номерах муравьи, и это не один-два муравьишки, замеченные придирчивым взглядом, а это толпы муравьев в ванной, в комнате, на балконе и даже в кровати. а если у вас окажется что-то съестное, то это просто катастрофа, тк спрятать его некуда (холодильник отсуствует). уборка некачественная, на полу в ванной и под кроватью пыль и чужие волосы. еда- минимализм, как в советском санатории. пришлось менять бронирование, еле выдержали 2 дня. бронь отменили без штрафа, хотя и немного напряглись. это худший из ght в тоссе |

Buena ubicación, limpieza y buena comida en general. No me ha gustado que no puedes dejar el coche al lado del hotel para dejar las maletas. Eso estal muy mal. Hay un coche del hotel que está aparcado a 10 metros, en esa zona hay sitio suficiente para carga y descarga de equipaje de los clientes del hotel. No costaría nada. Debería de haber un parking para clientes con descuento en la tarifa. |

Das Gehege für die als Haustiere gehaltenen Schildkröten ist nicht artgerecht (sehr moderat formuliert) und widerspricht dem ansonsten positiven Gesamteindruck, welcher das Hotel Neptuno vermittelt. Für das Abendessen wäre etwas mehr Abwechslung wünschenswert (evtl. vermehrt einheimische Speisen). |

Русских мало, соответственно,спокойная и приятная обстановка для отдыха. Особенно приятно, что отель расположен в центре старого города, где можно бесконечно гулять, наслаждаясь видом старинных домишек, неспешным ритмом жизни. Вообще Тосса де Мар безусловно одно из самых приятных мест в Испании. Море чистейшее, пляжей несколько, но самый приятный за крепостью в маленькой бухте, до него идти минут 5-7 не спеша. Бассейн так себе, но он фактически не нужен при таком море. |

Nothing really good. I'm very disappointed by this hotel. It was like we were sharing a room with other guests.. You could hear people's conversations, mobiles ringing, just very noisy and doors slamming. All you can hear is people above and next to you - it's tottaly true. Didn't change bed for 4 nights (even when my child messed the bed). dead wi-fi, it doesn't work in the room. Chemical smell in the room (when I checked in the room smelled awfully, in a few hours the problem was solved but I don't know how). The furniture is old and really bad - the bed consist of three parts: two matrasses and a back nailed to the wall. The location is really bad - it's near the end of the universe, every time you want to go the hotel you must go through all town by ascending road (it's a real road, you must let pass the cars). Poor brakfast - if you really like eggs and beans, you can survive. Очень и очень шумно, я знал все имена соседей с боку, с верху и с низу. Такое ощущение что стен просто нет. В номере не работает вайфай. бедный завтрак, первый день позавтракал - потом начал завтракать вне отеля. В номере нет места где можно просушить белье, если только на кровати или стуле. В номере нет вообще ничего, ни холодильника, ни чайника, ни стаканов... |

Очень приятный отель. Доброжелательный персонал, качественная еда (хотя шведский стол не очень большой). Интерьер отеля приятно удивил и обрадовал. Хорошее расположение отеля в старом городе, нет шума, выходишь прямо на узенькие улочки, к тавернам и магазинчикам. Пляж близко и хороший. Маленький бассейн. Мы были с детьми-подростками, им сначала не очень понравилось, но потом нашли и компанию и развлечения (настольный теннис и бильярд). |

You could hear people's conversations, mobiles ringing, just very noisy and doors slamming. All you can hear is people above and next to you - it's tottaly true. Didn't change bed for 4 nights (even when my child messed the bed). dead wi-fi, it doesn't work in the room. Chemical smell in the room (when I checked in the room smelled awfully, in a few hours the problem was solved but I don't know how). The furniture is old and really bad - the bed consist of three parts: two matrasses and a back nailed to the wall. The location is really bad - it's near the end of the universe, every time you want to go the hotel you must go through all town by ascending road (it's a real road, you must let pass the cars). Понравилось - город, природа, персонал, кухня, доброжелательность жителей. Заплатили за трехместный номер, а получили 2- местный 438 номер с дополнительной кроватью. А стоимость не изменилась. У нас друзья жили этажом ниже в 338 номере, точно такой же площадью вдвоем. |

Хорошее месторасположение- 10 минут до пляжа, рядом много магазинов, недалеко от автостанции. Телевизор с USB входом (не все форматы читает) есть русские каналы. Неплохой вид из номера (если повезет). Отличная еда, на ужин относительно недорогая выпивка. Если не повезет из номера будете видеть гранитную стену. Очень жесткие матрасы, неудобные подушки-сосиски. |

Прекрасный отель! Хорошее соотношение цена-качество! Бронировали номер за 3 месяца до приезда, в марте. Чуть позже в пожеланиях указали, чтобы номер был с видом на город и крепость - его и получили. Также заказывали парковку (парковка находятся в пяти минутах ходьбы от отеля, 10 евро в сутки. Не пожалели, что заказали ее, в поселке проблематично найти бесплатное место, а может и вовсе их нет). Номер чистый, мебель хорошая деревянная, плоский жк-телевизор, большой балкон с пластиковой мебелью, ванная комната с биде. Во всем отеле также чистота, на первом этаже старинная мебель. Хорошее питание. Виды из номеров, которые выходят на гору, на мой взгляд совершенно нормальные, не то, что расписывают в отзывах. Эта горка пологая и не примыкает к самим балконам. Русских и иностранцев селят абсолютно на равных условиях. Никаких дискриминаций) До пляжа идти минут 10. Для уровня 3* недостатков в отеле нет. Да и в принципе их нет. Отличный сервис! Приедем еще раз! |

Personnels aimables Chambres propres La décoration trop vieillissante ainsi que l'aménagement autour de la piscine. Cet établissement à sérieusement besoin de changer son mobilier. Le buffet n'est vraiment pas bien. Pas assez variés, pâtes, frites, riz, et très peu de légumes. Les entrées étaient toujours les mêmes, salade verte, tomate et pâtes mayonnaise. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais on avait une file d'attente pour le café car il y a qu'une machine à café pour toute la salle. La salle de restaurant est très bruillante on avait plus l'impression d'être à la cantine plutôt que dans un restaurant. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre car notre fenêtre était dans un angle de bâtiment et elle donnait sur un mur. on a heureusement pu changer le lendemain et nous avons obtenu une chambre au 3ème étage avec vue sur la roche!! En conclusion je ne retournerais pas dans cet établissement. |

Nous étions situés en plein coeur de Tossa del mar, à proximité du château. Pas besoin de prendre la voiture pour visiter les lieux. Nous nous sommes régalés et le prix était très très correct.
