Hostal Ancora is in Lloret de Mar
Lloret de Mar is a tourist village on the south Costa Brava with so many services as Platja d'Aro. However, the conversion of Lloret into one of the main resorts on the Costa Brava has not made it forget its own origins, which are brilliantly preserved and that are shown proudly to those wishing to spend their holidays in this extraordinary zone of the coast.
What was once a fishing village that developed on a long beach stretching from Sa Caravera to Sa Caleta has changed considerably. The town also features beaches (Cala Canyelles and Sa Somera to the north, and Fenals and Santa Cristina to the south), period houses on the seafront promenade, a boat procession held in July during which flower-decked boats carry the relics of Santa Cristina, and history showcased in the Museum of the Sea, located in the Indiano (i.e. built with money made in the Americas) building known as Can Garriga and containing an extensive collection of model ships. Lloret, a popular tourist destination among English and German young people, has a large concentration of accommodation options and tourist facilities, including a casino. An impressively large Roman tomb is found at the entrance
to the town.
The offer of Lloret de Mar aimed at those who love beaches and creeks is generous. Next to the center of town is Lloret Beach (Platja de Lloret), the longest in the village. Getting to it will be very easy, even if by car, since parking is available opposite the beach. This is a beach of fine white sand that has all the necessary facilities for bathers: sun beds and umbrellas rentals, water skiing, kayaking, restaurants, showers, etc.
Another beach, a little out of the center is Cala Canyelles, accessible from the road to Tossa de Mar. It is the only beach in Lloret de Mar that has a port. It's also covered by white sand, so typical in the Costa Brava as the golden sand, and is surrounded by a thick forest of pines, which makes this environment very attractive.
Other beaches of Lloret de Mar, also well-known, are Fenals Beach (Platja de Fenals, that can be reached by a coast walkway), Sa Caleta Beach, Boadella Creek, Santa Cristina Beach (the latter situated between two hills, is protected from wind and waves, so it is a very sheltered beach) and Treumal Beach.
The center also offers some important points of interest that worth a visit. Next to Boadella Creek on a cliff line, you can find Santa Clotilde Gardens, designed in Italian Renaissance style and that has a certain resemblance to the Boboli or Giusti ones, in Italy.
Other sites of interest are the Sant Joan Castle (the interior can be visited), the Casa Cabañas, the Monument of Apollo and Daphne, the Source of Canaletas, the Sardana monument, and the monument to the to the Sailor's Wife, located in the southern part of Playa de Lloret.

good location, helpfull staff, cheap rooms, also there is a breakfast (juice, croissants, jam, bread etc, very nice). usual simple nice hotel there. i could recommend if you wanna save money. noisy neibhours.. i mean you can hear all stupid behaviour if some guests are quite drunk. but however there are also the adults families, not only young crazy ppl. that's good :). |

We liked that we got the room with a double bed as we requested and also that we could use the Wifi in our room. Also the price and breakfast was good. We really didn't like that even in the night some other young tourists who stayed in the hotel in our floor listened to loud music in the hallway, screamed, laughed etc. That's why we couldn't just relax and sleep because nobody from the staff came to make them quiet. |

- La situation géographique : l'hôtel est situé à 30 mètres de la rue la plus commerçante de lloret. A 5 minutes de la plage, des discothèques et du supermarché. - Le personnel : on retrouve une ambiance familiale dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est souriant, sympathique et à l'écoute. Un réel plaisir. - La tranquillité : le personnel ne vient pas nous déranger que cela soit pour le ménage, les repas, les clés... - Le manque de modernité : les chambres sont simples, peu de rangements et pas de TV. |

Ich konnte 2 Tage mein Zimmer nicht im vollen Umfang nutzen, da die Klimaanlage gewartet wurde (vom späten morgen bis in den frühen Nachmittag). Por el precio económico esta muy bien en general, habitaciones cómodas, buen servicio por parte del personal y muy bien ubicado, esta en el casco antiguo, cerca de la playa y de restaurantes. Estamos muy contentos. Al estar en el casco antiguo es muy difícil encontrar aparcamiento gratis, ya que son calles peatonales o de pago. Referente al hostal, las habitaciones falta jabón, y en mi opinión el gran fallo es que no hay ascensor, nos toco en la segunda planta y subir las maletas por las escaleras estrechas era un infierno. También como negativo diría el jaleo que hacen los extranjeros que vienen de fiesta a Lloret y no te dejan dormir en toda la noche, pero no se puede pedir mucho más por el precio que nos ha costado la estancia. |

Die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und gingen auf jede unserer Fragen sofort ein. Probleme gab es keine. Sogar als es bei uns mal später wurde kam uns das Personal mit großer Toleranz entgegen. Die Lage ist der Hit; um die Ecke ist ein Pub, eine Gasse weiter steht man schon auf der Shopping-Meile und geht man gerade aus befindet man sich nach 1 Minute am Strand. Die Party-Meile hat man nach allerhöchstens 10 Minuten erreicht. Da wir zu dritt waren, hatten wir ein 3-Bett-Zimmer. Das war allerdings ein normales Doppelzimmer mit einem dritten Bett. Ansonsten war es natürlich nicht sonderlich luxoriös, aber für einen Strand- oder Partyurlaub, absolut ok und zweckmäßig. |

Za tą cenę super. Pokój czysty, zadbany, sprzątany codziennie, także codziennie wymieniane ręczniki. Możliwość skorzystania z suszarki do włosów, żelazka, parasoli na plażę oraz mat. Do plaży bardzo blisko, dosłownie 3 minuty. Pyszna kawa oraz sok. W pokojach jest klimatyzacja. Bardzo sympatyczna obsługa. Bywa głośno, ponieważ tuż za rogiem znajduje się pub, ale nie jest to wielką niedogodnością. Przydałyby się ręczniki na plażę i bardziej urozmaicone śniadanie (zupełny brak warzyw i wędlina bardzo słabej jakości). Szkoda, że w pokoju nie było lodówki, ale za tą cenę... |

Frukosten bra för det här priset, läget bra, väldigt centralt. Tycker inte att hotellet skall skriva att dom erbjuder parkering eftersom det var väldigt svårt att komma dit. Området omgivet av gågator, inte ens taxi chaufförerna kunde /fick köra före in där, bättre ta en publik parkering, finns i närheten innan gågatan tar vid och till samma kostnad. |

De kamer was keurig schoon! Elke dag kwam de schoonmaakster langs om een beetje op te ruimen zoals bed opmaken, schone handdoeken etc. De schoonmaakster is de zus van de eigenaresse dus ze was erg betrouwbaar. Daarnaast kregen we elke ochten gratis ontbijt wat niet alleen uit een zielig broodje en kopje koffie bestond! Er ware n croissantjes. Stokbrood. Ham. Kaas. Jam. Crackers. Warme chocolade melk.jus dorange. Het was geweldig en dat voor een lage prijs! De ligging was ook perfect en we konden om alle tijden (ook snachts) thuiskomen. Er stond altijd personeel opwacht.en het personeel was heel erg vriendelijk! Helemaal niks is tegengevallen |

W dalszej części miasta, bardziej w centrum zauważylismy całonocny hałas. Natomiast bliżej morza, w miejscu położenia hotelu Ancora było w nocy cicho. W hotelu było bardzo czysto, codziennie sprzątano. Miła obsługa, dostępna przez całą dobę. Przyjechaliśmy ok. Godz 2 w nocy, wyjeżdżaliśmy podobnie. Jest pracownik na nocną zmianę. Także z obsługą zero problemu. Sam hotel z początku zrobił na nas słabe wrażenie. Usytuowany w ciasnej uliczce, w starym,odrapanym budynku. Dostaliśmy ciasny pokój z widokiem na mur znajdujący się 2 metry dalej, bez dostępu powietrza, ponieważ u góry budynki stojące blisko siebie są połączone jakimś zadaszeniem. Także pokój był ciemny, przez cały dzień trzeba było palić światło. Jednak mało w nim przebywaliśmy.śniadania słabe; bagietka,ser,szynka,foliowane ciasta. Jednak ogólnie - dobre miejsce w dobrej cenie. Polecam ten hotel. |
