The Castella Hotel is located in the lively centre of Lloret. There are many popular bars nearby. There are regular connections from Lloret Bus Station to Girona and Barcelona. There is also good access to Water World Water Park.
Hotel Castella is in Lloret de Mar
Lloret de Mar is a tourist village on the south Costa Brava with so many services as Platja d'Aro. However, the conversion of Lloret into one of the main resorts on the Costa Brava has not made it forget its own origins, which are brilliantly preserved and that are shown proudly to those wishing to spend their holidays in this extraordinary zone of the coast.
What was once a fishing village that developed on a long beach stretching from Sa Caravera to Sa Caleta has changed considerably. The town also features beaches (Cala Canyelles and Sa Somera to the north, and Fenals and Santa Cristina to the south), period houses on the seafront promenade, a boat procession held in July during which flower-decked boats carry the relics of Santa Cristina, and history showcased in the Museum of the Sea, located in the Indiano (i.e. built with money made in the Americas) building known as Can Garriga and containing an extensive collection of model ships. Lloret, a popular tourist destination among English and German young people, has a large concentration of accommodation options and tourist facilities, including a casino. An impressively large Roman tomb is found at the entrance
to the town.
The offer of Lloret de Mar aimed at those who love beaches and creeks is generous. Next to the center of town is Lloret Beach (Platja de Lloret), the longest in the village. Getting to it will be very easy, even if by car, since parking is available opposite the beach. This is a beach of fine white sand that has all the necessary facilities for bathers: sun beds and umbrellas rentals, water skiing, kayaking, restaurants, showers, etc.
Another beach, a little out of the center is Cala Canyelles, accessible from the road to Tossa de Mar. It is the only beach in Lloret de Mar that has a port. It's also covered by white sand, so typical in the Costa Brava as the golden sand, and is surrounded by a thick forest of pines, which makes this environment very attractive.
Other beaches of Lloret de Mar, also well-known, are Fenals Beach (Platja de Fenals, that can be reached by a coast walkway), Sa Caleta Beach, Boadella Creek, Santa Cristina Beach (the latter situated between two hills, is protected from wind and waves, so it is a very sheltered beach) and Treumal Beach.
The center also offers some important points of interest that worth a visit. Next to Boadella Creek on a cliff line, you can find Santa Clotilde Gardens, designed in Italian Renaissance style and that has a certain resemblance to the Boboli or Giusti ones, in Italy.
Other sites of interest are the Sant Joan Castle (the interior can be visited), the Casa Cabañas, the Monument of Apollo and Daphne, the Source of Canaletas, the Sardana monument, and the monument to the to the Sailor's Wife, located in the southern part of Playa de Lloret.

Swimming pool very noisy you can hear when somebody is taking shower upstairs and it seems like heavy rain, there was no air condition or fan in room, dirty towels, no shower gel in the bathroom, strange smell,no tv, very old damage furniture. |

la habitacion tenia una plaga de hormigas. En las fotos y descripcion de las habitaciones ponia que tenia bañera....y era una birria, pequeña y antigua. No hay servicio de bar en la piscina y ni siquiera podias cojer algo en el bar para llevartelo a la piscina. La piscina solo tenia 3 horas de sol al dia. TROP DE BRUITS. Malgré le fait que nous sommes allez a Lloret de mar pour faire la fête, dans l'hotel c'était vraiment dur a supporter... Nous nous sommes souvent rendus a la reception pour demander si c'était possible que les gens fassent moins de bruits et ne prennent pas l'hotel pour une discothèque........ |

De locatie. Het hotel lag dicht aan het strand. De kamers waren erg klein en vies. Het zwembad lag de hele dag in de schaduw. De handdoeken waren smerig. De badkamer was niet schoon en wij konden niet fatsoenlijk douchen. Het was in een woord verschrikkelijk. |

Pas grand chose,à part la piscine. pas de télé,pas de téléphone dans la chambre, pas de renseignements de la part du personnel à l'arrivée au sujet par ex. des repas ou du petit dejeuner, on a su la veille du depart qu'il y avait possibilité de diner à l'hotel. Beaucoup de groupes de jeunes très bruyant même à 5 heure du matin.Dans l'ensemble très decevant. |

La gentillesse de la femme à l'accueil Tout le reste ! le seul mot qui me vient pour cet hôtel est "minable" !! je n'ai pas dormi de la nuit tellement il y a eu du bruit ! et il faut vraiment avoir faim pour apprécier le petit déjeuner |

Sin lugar a dudas, el jaleo dentro y fuera del hotel. El servicio del hotel era incompetente y no sabia resolver el problema de un grupo de adolescentes casi siempre borrachos los cuales ponian musica alta (utilizando un gigantesco altavoz incluso en la piscina) durante horas de dia y noche de la manera insoportable. El jaleo era presente incluso durante las horas de silencio nocturno (de medianoche hasta las 6 de la manana). Escandaloso!!! No recomiendo Hotel Castella a nadie que quiere pasar las vacaciones sin dolor de cabeza ;-)) TROP DE BRUITS. Malgré le fait que nous sommes allez a Lloret de mar pour faire la fête, dans l'hotel c'était vraiment dur a supporter... La atención, la ubicación. El ruido durante la madrugada. Aparentemente un contingente debia salir y golpeaban las puertas de las habitaciones, si bien no golpearon en nuestra pieza, se escuchaba todo. |

Hôtel assez bien placé pour le prix (car voir des 05 etoiles et ne pas pouvoir allez à la mer a pied ne sers a rien), pas loin de la mer et des bars de Lloret. TROP DE BRUITS. Personnel très agréable, proche des magasins et du bord de mer. Rapport qualité/prix excellent. Que le femme de ménage rentre dans la chambre pour faire le ménage alors que l'on dort encore :-/ Pas de parking. |
