Lloret de Mar is a tourist village on the south Costa Brava with so many services as Platja d'Aro. However, the conversion of Lloret into one of the main resorts on the Costa Brava has not made it forget its own origins, which are brilliantly preserved and that are shown proudly to those wishing to spend their holidays in this extraordinary zone of the coast.
What was once a fishing village that developed on a long beach stretching from Sa Caravera to Sa Caleta has changed considerably. The town also features beaches (Cala Canyelles and Sa Somera to the north, and Fenals and Santa Cristina to the south), period houses on the seafront promenade, a boat procession held in July during which flower-decked boats carry the relics of Santa Cristina, and history showcased in the Museum of the Sea, located in the Indiano (i.e. built with money made in the Americas) building known as Can Garriga and containing an extensive collection of model ships. Lloret, a popular tourist destination among English and German young people, has a large concentration of accommodation options and tourist facilities, including a casino. An impressively large Roman tomb is found at the entrance
to the town.
The offer of Lloret de Mar aimed at those who love beaches and creeks is generous. Next to the center of town is Lloret Beach (Platja de Lloret), the longest in the village. Getting to it will be very easy, even if by car, since parking is available opposite the beach. This is a beach of fine white sand that has all the necessary facilities for bathers: sun beds and umbrellas rentals, water skiing, kayaking, restaurants, showers, etc.
Another beach, a little out of the center is Cala Canyelles, accessible from the road to Tossa de Mar. It is the only beach in Lloret de Mar that has a port. It's also covered by white sand, so typical in the Costa Brava as the golden sand, and is surrounded by a thick forest of pines, which makes this environment very attractive.
Other beaches of Lloret de Mar, also well-known, are Fenals Beach (Platja de Fenals, that can be reached by a coast walkway), Sa Caleta Beach, Boadella Creek, Santa Cristina Beach (the latter situated between two hills, is protected from wind and waves, so it is a very sheltered beach) and Treumal Beach.
The center also offers some important points of interest that worth a visit. Next to Boadella Creek on a cliff line, you can find Santa Clotilde Gardens, designed in Italian Renaissance style and that has a certain resemblance to the Boboli or Giusti ones, in Italy.
Other sites of interest are the Sant Joan Castle (the interior can be visited), the Casa Cabañas, the Monument of Apollo and Daphne, the Source of Canaletas, the Sardana monument, and the monument to the to the Sailor's Wife, located in the southern part of Playa de Lloret.

It was cheap, some of the staff were pleasant and the room was just ok. My number one problem was the quality of the food.....it was simply appalling! On one occasion a friend cut into a large sausage that he had put on his plate and found it to be completely raw! Disgusting and dangerous. The pool was tiny and cold. The hotel was located on an extremely busy road with very fast moving traffic. The water in the spa pool was almost cold. The tv in the room was tiny and had only one English-speaking channel. The whole property felt like it had been lifted out of the 1970`s. Outdated and tired. |

The staff members were excellent (the ones that worked through the day) they did everything to make our stay amazing. But the man who works the night shift was very rude and made us feel really uncomfortable when one night we asked for an extra pillow, he quizzed us nd asked lots of questions as to why we wanted an extra pillow and was very rude about the whole thing. Staff were excellent, went with a group of friends suited our purpose of holiday, cheap and cheerful. Check out was at 10.00 am and transfer want until 6pm. All 7 of us were allowed to use another 2 rooms to have a shower and clean up before we left free of charge. Pool and sunbathing area too close together doesn't feel very private, food isn't very good unless you go straight when it's opened and its hot. Definitely wouldn't recommend food for children as we struggled with it and did eat out most of our stay and we were all inclusive. |

Лифт часто ломался и в один прекрасный момент человек в инвалидном кресле не смог вообще подняться к себе в номер, так как "грузовой" лифт застрял где-то наверху, а в пассажирский ему было не вместиться. Кроме того, спа в этом отеле это вовсе не спа, а только сауна. Далековато от моря (минут 20 идти). Но доступно от автовокзала (минут 8). |

Месторасположение (довольно далеко от тусовочного центра и центрального пляжа, рядом пляж Феналс, который значительно привлекательнее), прямо от отеля ходит бесплатный автобус в аквапарк, автовокзал в 10 минутах ходьбы, каждую субботу за ужином проводится день каталонской кухни (вкусные морепродукты), отличная спа-зона (бассейн с джакузи и турецкая парная). Приличный бар, иногда живая музыка. Находится на шумной дороге (на фотографиях этого не видно), нет кондиционера и форточки тоже нет (приходится открывать дверь на балкон), бюджетные номера оооочень сильно потрепаны жизнью, недостаточно вешалок для полотенец, лежаков очень мало для всего номерного фонда, их занимают с утра, и днем уже не полежать у джакузи. |

Le spa est sympa et peu fréquenté. Beaucoup de bruit le week-end, impossible de dormir. Certaines personnes pensent que les chambres de cet hôtel servent également de boîte de nuit. het hotel is een éénvoudig maar proper 3* hotel. het personeel aan de balie (benji) is super vriendelijk en steeds bereidt je zo goed mogelijk verder te helpen met zowel kleine ongemakken in het hotel als informatie buiten het hotel. ook één van de weinige hotels in lloret waar men de moeite neemt om engels met je te praten ! Het ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreidt en goed. Voor wie goedkoop in lloret wil verblijven en niet houdt van teveel luxe, is dit hotel zeker de moeite waardt om te ontdekken ! de standard 2 persoons kamers zijn proper maar vallen wat klein uit en zijn een beetje in de tijd blijven stilstaan. het avondeten naar mijn inziens kon uitgebreider en warmer. Ook de vele luidruchtige engelse toeristen( soms dronken) moet je erbij nemen in dit hotel. |

l hotel est normalement equiper un bordel indescritible,nous sommes arriver a 8h30 on nous a demander de revenir a midi a midi on nous a pris nos cartes d identites et donner nod clefs et de repasser a 2 h puis de repasser a 18h ils avaient perdue nos cartes d identite retrouver vers 21h nous sommes monter pour manger le retaurant fermer .le lendemain matin il avaient oublier de noter nos nom et avaient attribuer notre chambre a d autres personnes .personnel incompetant responssable inexistant .il y a plein d autre hotel je vous conseille vivement d eviter cet etablissement |

Al principio fuimos con miedo despues de leer opiniones muy negativas del hotel Ancla...si a eso le sumas el bajo precio, estabamos temblando..al final nos llevamos una sorpresa como siempre y en el hotel estaba todo muy nuevo y limpio, recien pintado, lavabos moderniazados con bañera, ascensor...la comida buena quiza un poco escasa y el desayuno poco variado. En general nos gusto mucho y seguramente por ese precio decidamos volver. El personal muy simpatico y atento a las necesidades de los huespedes Habia mucha gente...y en general extranjeros ruidosos, pero lo normal. |

la propreté et le jacuzzi manque d'organisation à la reception des heures d'attente, repas plus que moyen voir infecte bruit dans les couloirs, personnes ivres...assenseur souvent en panne et pas de parking sans oublier les salles de bains vetustent!!! |

. Personas borrachas por todo el hotel (ingleses, alemanes....) . Ruido en las habitaciones. . Habitaciones viejas y con olor a pintura esmaltada. . El director en recepción chillando por un portátil, incomodando a los clientes y empleados. . Vamos, para no volver. Très déçus. Avons fait une réclamation et attendons avec impatience un geste de Booking sur ce séjour. L’hôtel n'était pas prêt à accueillir la clientèle. Il ouvrait le 08/05/2013 (date de notre séjour). Nous avons perdu notre 1er jour de congé a attendre pour récupérer les clefs des chambres !! arrivée à l’hôtel a 11h30 récupération des clefs à 17h30 !! inadmissible !! Lit chambre 222 cassé signalé à plusieurs reprises et resté sans intervention aucune. Groupe électrogène contre le mur de la chambre louée (223) impossible de fermé l'oeil pendant tout le séjour !! (hotel en réparation : marteau piqueur, et travaux en cours... Très bruyant). Nous attendons vraiment un geste de la part de Booking avec lequel j'ai l'habitude de réserver et jamais déçue ... sauf cette fois ! Mais vraiment c'était le bouquet !! 4 jours de congés rates !!!! En espérant que vous m'apporterez une réponse rapide. Le mobilier est très vieux et très limite dans la propreté. J'ai déjà signalé l'incident. Avec mes remerciements. Cordialement. |

Impossible d'apprécier un séjour tel que celui-ci !!! Sans pouvoir dormir pendant 4 jours ! Le personnel courrait dans tous les sens. L’hôtel se mettait en place et n'était pas prêt à accueillir ses clients ! Pas de restauration possible pour le 08/05 à midi - alors que Booking à fait confirmer à l’hôtel que nous pourrions prendre le repas le 08/05 à midi en décalage avec le départ du dimanche midi. Grosse panique à l'accueil à notre arrivé, le personnel était débordé Pas d'eau à l'arrivée dans la chambre on se demande comment le ménage des sanitaires a été fait. Il y avait eu des travaux et le plombier avait oublié de rouvrir la vanne problème de matelas, j'ai du me lever dans la nuit pour mettre des serviettes entre le matelas et le drap car les ressorts transpercaient le matelas et me blesser au niveau de la cuisse et des jambes au petit déjeuner à 8 h 15 le buffet était dressé mais aucune boisson chaudes ou froides, il a fallu attendre un peu pour en avoir enfin c'est un hôtel qui venait juste de réouvrir d'après ce que nous avons pu comprendre, et ils ont besoin d'avoir une grosse marge de progression Le personnel pas disponible trop trop d attente a l accueil pour l attribution de la chambre et la cerise sur le gateau buffet mediocre |
