Set in the beachfront and with direct access to Almadraba Beach, Agi Veronés Platja offers accomodation in Roses. Each apartment features a private terrace with sea views and a dining table.
The apartments have a living room with a sofa, flat-screen TV and satellite channels. The kitchenette is equipped with an oven, microwave and washing machine.

South of the Albera Range, Roses Bay forms a deep inlet in the coastline some 15 km long, with long sandy beaches and marshland. It is bounded by the Cap de Creus peninsula to the north and the Montgrí massif to the south.
Rhode and Emporion, located at either end of the bay, were the gateways through which Greek culture entered the country. Both have developed into major tourist resorts: Roses in the north and L’Escala to the south.
Roses is the charming fishing village of Alt Empordà that welcomes visitors to the doors of the Cap de Creus Natural Park (Parc Natural del Cap de Creus).
The origins of Roses date back the VIII century BC, with the arrival and establishment of the Rhodian, originating from the Greek island of Rhodes. Its name comes from this origins. Trade and the Roman occupation of this place have made a melting pot that explains the mood of a very modern, open, active and generous population.
Roses touristic points of interest are many and very different among them. Faced with the great natural landscapes that offer their creeks: Cala Montjoi, Cala Canyelles, Cala Jóncols, Cala Murtra, Cala Lledó, Cala Rustella, etc. you can also find cultural highlights of great interest as the route of the dolmens (dolmen Creu d'en Cobertella, Llit de la Generala, Cap de l'Home, Casa Cremada), also the Museum of Ciutadella (Citadel), the Castle of Santa Trinitat, Roses the Lighthouse and many other. Roses also has the largest fishing port in northern Costa Brava.
The cultural and musical offer of Roses is extensive and includes lectures, rock and blues festivals, exhibitions, concerts of various types of music and more. In summer the village hosts one of the major music festivals in the Costa Brava: Sons of Món (Sound of the World).
he best time to stroll by the harbour, one of the busiest on the Costa Brava, is in the evening, when the fishing boats sail in with their escort of gulls.
The terraces are an invitation to sit and chat, while the fortified precinct of the Ciutadella, built in the 16th century by Charles V to protect the region from pirates, merits a leisurely visit. Inside this vast fortress are the remains of the Greek colony of Rhode, founded in the 4th century BC, and the Benedictine Monastery of Santa Maria. All kinds of water sports can be practised at Roses, off the town’s own beaches of fine sand and in the coves of L’Almadrava, Montjoi and Jòncols.
If you are interested in nature walks and tours Roses offers well marked and accessible ones, through an exceptional nature resulting from the combination of sea and mountains.
The coast of Roses is full of contrasts. You'll find many cliffs overlooking the sea, but also quiet creeks with clear and shallow waters, soft sand, providing ideal conditions for practicing water sports like kayaking, fishing, sailing, windsurfing, paragliding, etc. For all these reasons, the family fun in this village at the foot of Cape Creus is guaranteed.
The name of Roses has been linked in recent years to the figure of the excellent chef Ferran Adrià, worldwide well-known for its innovative cuisine. Its famous restaurant, El Bulli, located in the idyllic Cala Montjoi, has become the El Bulli Foundation, a center of culinary research.

The view Staff did very poor job on directions. Long way from parking to room down poor maintained stairs, would not do for people with even minor disabilities. Kitchen smelled like dead rodent. |

Location is next to perfect, views are great. Actual apartment was quite average but with cozy exterior and nice view. The town is OK, especially considering that Roses is located right next to Cadaques with it's incredible architecture,views and history. Furniture is cheap and outdated, no natural gas supply, just a small portable gas-tank for cooking and shower but the management - Immogestio Real Estate (Roses) - is the worst part of the experience. We ran out of gas upon lighting up the stove and could not cook or take a shower until the next day when the tank was changed. Expect a lot of extra charges (defined in the listing in quite evasive terms). 10 euro charge for bedsheets became 40 euro charge for 4 people staying, plus 8 euro for each set of towels (32 euro). Expect to pay additional 72 euros ($100 or so) for family of four. Check out charges for the internet access. Overall impression is that Immogestio Real Estate (Roses) tried to rob you blind while you show up and have no choice but to pay - you can't even cancel your reservation without loosing your deposit. You can't pay with AMEX card either even though no info in this regard was provided on it's Booking.com listing where we made a deposit using American Express. Overall feeling of being cheated and taken advantage of doesn't make you feel like enjoying your stay at Agi Veronés Platja. We will never use this listing or RE agency again. |

Es amplio y tiene unas excelentes vistas y la playa muy cerca. El acceso a la vivienda;el mobiliario de la terraza con las sillas rotas,algunas lámparas fundidas,la entrada llena de pinaza,que tuvimos que barrer,las camas antiguas y se clavan los muelles.Todo ello lo comuniqué a la agencia. |

La situation proche de la plage et l'environnement calme. La terrasse plein sud avec vue sur la mer. Très bonne réactivité de l'agence pour résoudre les problèmes matériels. Les problèmes matériels : manque de prises électriques dans les chambres, disjoncteur sautant trop souvent, lampes de chevet HS (mais remplacées lors du séjour...), robinetterie avec fuites (remplacée lors du séjour), literie moyenne, cabine de douche exiguë. Connexion internet possible mais pas aussi simple qu'annoncée. |

la proximité de la plage et le calme.la terrasse aussi. Panne d'électriçité le premier soir à 21 heures,et personne à joindre avant le lendemain 10 heures. Frigo bruyant ,ne pouvant être règlé. Da rue à l'appartement,un très long(70 marches)et dangereux escalier (pas éclairé pour descendre) Pas de poignée à la lourde porte-fenêtre. Eclairage succint et pas intime Ne vaut que par sa situation,car trop cher:60 Euros la nuit hors saison |

Très belle vue sur la mer et l'accès direct à la plage La localisation dans Roses (secteur calme, jolies plages avec sentier côtier) L'arrivée : aucune consigne sur la remise des clés, arrivé devant l'appart, j'appelle le num de l'agence, qui me dit que j'aurais du recevoir un mail pour aller chercher les clés au centre ville. Mail jamais reçu, bien sûr... Heureusement on a des draps, sinon + 10 euros par personne Parking privé, mais escalier de 80 marches pour rejoindre la résidence, 25m de dénivelée, vacances sportives quand on a des bagages... Numérotation erratique des appartements, 2 autres locataires infortunés mettent des plombes à trouver leur appart. On a loué un T3, mais il n'a qu'une chambre. Je rappelle l'agence. En fait la 2ème chambre est en face de la porte d'entrée, séparée de l'appart par un couloir ouvert aux 4 vents, pas pratique avec de jeunes enfants ! L'appart est propre, mais la 2ème chambre sent fortement l'humidité, les couvertures et matelas sont humides... Ce n'est pas que je regarde souvent la TV en vacances, mais l'écran plat promis est en fait un minuscule cathodique antédiluvien, le mobilier est à l'avenant. Pour finir, le couloir est barré d'une porte qui ne s'ouvre qu'avec une clé même de l'intérieur et se ferme toute seule, bonjour la sécurité en cas d'incendie... |

der Blick vom Balkon Der Zugang zum App.ist nicht nur schlecht sondern katastrophal! Von dem Parkplatz geht eine unbeleuchtete Treppe 69 Stufen, teilweise defekt, zum App.- abends lebensgefährlich. Kein Hinweis auf diesen Missstand bei der Schlüsselübergabe bzw. bei der Beschreibung-das ist unanständig. Da diese Anlage die einzige in der Bucht ist, die keinen sicheren und bequemen Zugang hat (links und rechts vom App kann man mit dem Auto auf der Ebene parken wo man wohnt) Da dieser erhebliche Mangel den Vermietern nicht unbekannt ist und den Mietern bewusst verschwiegen wird,fühle ich mich betrogen. 2013 kann man wohl in solch einer Lage eine Klimaanlage erwarten, auch wenn das Gebäude aus den 50ern stammt. Das Hauptpositivum für uns: Wir haben uns während des Aufenthaltes nicht die Beine gebrochen. |
