The Ethnological Museum of the Montseny mountains (MEMGA) shows how human society has evolved here throughout history, between the Costa Brava and the province of Barcelona. It is located in an old large farmhouse, called the Gabella, from seventeenth century, in the center of the village. Throughout the 15 rooms and 4 floors of the museum we discover interesting aspects of this environment as the first settlers, the findings of Montsoriu Castle, traditional crafts, agricultural transformation, the different means of transport, etc. It contains media exhibitions and the access is also suitable for disabled people with reduced mobility.
