The receptionist Martha is excellent in helping her guests. She went with us to find the tourguide to join the 6 oclock tour as we were 10 minutes to late so we could join and do the part we missed at the end of the tour. La limpieza es buena y la decoración y acabados de la habitación son sencillos pero correctos (tv pequeña, plato de ducha en lugar de baño...). El desayuno con embutidos de la zona y pan con tomate estaba muy bien. El hotel no dispone de servicios más que una minúscula recepción muy desatendida. No hay ningún otro espacio común excepto la cafetería de abajo donde se sirve el desayuno, que no siempre está abierta durante el día. |

The town the hotel is located in is a beautiful medieval town with many artists. The hotel is beautiful and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you're looking to be close to the Costa Brava, this isn't the place, but if you want access to the beautiful eastern Pyrenees, Girona, and some R&R, this is a great choice. |

Located just of the main square on a quiet street,excellent service, great breakfast, friendly and informative staff, the manager helped us with travel and airport information, Besalu is a great historic town with wonderful buildings, medieval bridge, etc. I highly recommend 3-Arcs to anyone spending time in Besalu. Need to carry bags to hotel. |

Besalú. The location - it's located in the centre of Besalu, the girl in the reception and the cat near 3 arcs (it actually has 3 arcs, that explains the name of this hotel) Breakfast (desayuno) was horrible. I don't know who wrote in the comments that the breakfasts are good there- it's poor and bad. Orange juice from the unknown chemicals, ham and sousages weren't fresh at all and some bad instant coffee :((((( we had to go to the nearby cafe to have smth! Was upsetting! Ahh, and the room is ok but very small! |

The staff is very friendly. The location is awesome and Besalú definitely is whorthy the trip. Nothing really. You just must realize that is a medieval city and so you probably will have to spend some time to find a parking lot and walk to the hotel. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us good advice where to each authentic Catalan food. The hotel is completely soul-less. Not a picture on the wall or any colour what so ever in the room. I felt I was in a box. Breakfast was very average. |

The location of the hotel was excellent - very near the main square and easy driving distance from some beautiful countryside - fantastic for walkers. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfasts good and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Some hooks in the bathroom, or somewhere to hang towels etc, would have been useful. We would also have appreciated a high chair in the cafe at breakfast. |

Helpful staff, nice room Breakfast can be improved, Heating was an issue since the radiator was not able to heat well the entire room when the outside temperature was 1-2 C during the night. The AC would not provide the desired extra heating despite our efforts to set it up (maybe it was our fault). The bathroom does not have heating at all |
