Hotel Miami ligt op slechts 150 meter van Tossa de Mar. Dit kleine hotel wordt door een familie beheerd en beschikt over een café met een terras.
De eenvoudige kamers van het Miami hebben een eigen badkamer. Sommige zijn voorzien van een flatscreen-tv of een balkon.
Gasten kunnen genieten van een dagelijks ontbijtbuffet en er zijn afhaalmaaltijden verkrijgbaar in het café. U kunt helemaal tot rust komen in de loungeruimte, die is ingericht met een satelliet-tv.
Het Miami ligt op slechts 5 minuten lopen van het centrum van het middeleeuwse stadje Tossa de Mar en op 1 km van de oude stadsmuren. De schilderachtige landelijke omgeving van het stadje is ideaal voor het maken van wandelingen en op 10 km afstand vindt u de dichtstbijzijnde golfbaan.

Stad van préromaanse origine, is met zijn ommuurde, uit de XIIe eeuw deterende Vila Vella en eigenaardige ligging, één van de voor de Costa Brava meest karakteristieke stadjes.
De moderne stadskern hebben het karakter van het ouide vissersdorp van verschillende nieuwe elementen voorzien, echter zonder ook maar iets van het bekoorlijke geheel te bederven. Zodra men vanaf zee Tossa de Mar in zicht krijgt, komt men eerst nog langs Roca del Moro, La Cambra, Cala del Moltó en Els Cars, daarna de bekende baai Es Codolar, die begint met een helling en steeds nauwer wordt, tot aan de oude stadsmuur.
Deze baai vormde de natturlijke haven van Tossa de Mar, en nog steeds liggen de vissersbootjes daar verankerd aan de rotsen. Deze baai is, met zijn oude toren als eindpunt, onvergetelijk en sinds lange tijden één van de meest opvallende kemmerken van het aangezicht van Tossa de Mar.
Op Es Codolar volgt Cap de Tossa de Mar, op de top waarvan zich de vuurtoren verheft. Voorbij deze kaap komt de gesloten bocht van het strand van Tossa de Mar in zicht. Dit strand is in werkelijkheid gevormd door Mar Gran en in tweeën gedeeld door de grillige “riera”, een riviertje, gevormd door het van de bergen narr de zee stromend regenwater, en een stukje rotsachtige kust Ses Glorietes geheten, waarin zich hier en daar kleine strandjes vormen en waar steeds meer villa’s gebouwd worden en Mar Menuda, het strand tegenover het eilandje la Illa, en die eerderbeschreven van de ouderdom van Tossa de Mar.
Na het iberische Tossa de Mar waarin comerciële contacten met de grieken bestonden, komt de romeinse stad, waaraan nog een paar prachtige grondmozaïeken herinneren en waarin, naast de naam van de artiest of eigenaar, ook die van de stad voorkomt: Turissa.
Vanaf Tossa de Mar de kust verder volgend, richting Sant Feliu de Guíxolss, verdwijnen de kustpaadjes. De weg wordt bepaald door Sierra de Tossa de Mar, met een maximale hoogte van 520 m in Puig de Ses Cadiretes, de meest abrupte en spectaculaire top van de hele zone. Het panorama dat men vanaf deze heuvel heeft is indruk wekkend vanwege zijn uitgestrektheid.
Vervolgens, Cala Bona, Cala Pola met een camping en een moderne urbanisatie, Cala Giverola, Cala Salionç en Cala Vallpresona aand de voet van het kapelletje van Sant Grau, dat op 360 m. hoogte het landschap domineert, Cabanyes en Cala Canyet.

La relacion calidad precio es muy buena, el personal es amable,cogimos una oferta de habitacion a patio por 30 euros y nos dieron una habitació exterior con balcon. El hotel esta bien situada a 5 minutos de la playa andando y tiene ascensor Los muebles era antiguos, pero la habitación estaba limpia. No tiene parking pero es fácil aparcar en las cercanías |

My favorite hotel in Tossa de Mar. Run by the long-time proprietor, it's a family hotel- but the family grew up and went away years ago, and now mostly drop in for evening meals on the restaurant/terrace. Nice. Honest. Plenty of space, not updated with modern interior-design anonymous hotel tack (more like ymca furniture!), large clean whitewashed rooms with bathroom and balcony. Ridiculously low price at end of season.You get a cupboard elsewhere in town for that same price. About 100m from bus terminal, 100m from the town supermarket - best place to stay for me since I'm commuting to a site out of town. Beach would be about 5m walk if I went. It's not for people looking for the resort experience! More like a mountain-top refuge (in town) for experienced travelers who want something reliably clean and light and spacious with no frills at all on a small budget. Nothing. The plastic upholstery on the seats in the rooms is getting old now, but it's still there! |

The best part of the Hotel Miami was its location, 7 mins from the beach and next to the bus station. By far this is worst hotel were we have stayed. The hotel was old and smelly. The service was really bad. When we arrived we were waiting for around 10 mins. The hygiene was very poor, the bed sheets had spots and the bathroom couldn't be closed, otherwise were stuck (we had to kicked the door to open it!). At night there was too much noise coming from the bars but also from the others rooms (We assume they have similar problems with the doors). And so on, there more problems. We decided don't let to ruin our holidays and finally we spent most of the days outside and used the hotel just at night. |

El personal es muy simpático y agradable. La ubicación es muy buena, aunque pone que está a 150m de la playa cosa que no es así pero aun y todo no esta mal ubicado. Los precios del bar si eres cliente son fantásticos y si no lo eres no está nada mal la verdad. El ruido que hay en el hotel. Escuché vomitar a la de la habitación de al lado sin exagerar como si lo hiciera en mi habitación. Escuche a los niños de al lado gritar como si lo hicieran en nuestra habitación. La televisión tiene un limite de sonido y no se oye nada a no ser que cierres las ventanas y te mueras de calor dentro. Ah! Y ya les tuvimos que suplicar al servicio de limpieza que por favor echaran algo para fumigar las hormigas que se nos lleno la ducha de ellas. |

Freundliches Personal, jeden Tag wurde unser Zimmer gewischt, jeden Tag gab es neue Handtücher, die Lage ist nah zum Strand und zur Innenstadt, super Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Dünne Wände und die Spanier sind leider nie am schlafen. Gegenüber ist ein Hotel wo es ab und zu Live-Musik gibt. Also nichts für geräuschempfindliche Menschen. Keine Klimaanlage. |

Hotel Miami is a bargain if you're on a budget. My second stay - it's friendly, family-run, and in one of my favourite Costa Brava towns, a short walk from the sea, shops and dozens of places to eat. No wi-fi. Probably won't stay here next time I visit on business because of this - I need it to work. |

For young people, who don't need luxury it is great. My room was clean and nice. The huge advantage is his localization. 150 metres from Bus Station in Tossa and 250 metres from the beach. I can really recommend it. Hotel Miami is noisy, because of the main street near it. There is no air conditioning, so You have to have windows open. |

En general el hotel por ser de una estrella es correcto y esta bien ubicado. El único fallo y creo que es importante porque esta clase de hoteles es para ducharte y dormir, es que el colchon de matrimonio ( al menos en nuestra habitación ) era malisimo , se torcia por los lados y tenias que hacer maravillas para no clavarte los muelles, lástima de esto porque por lo demas era bastante correcto. |

La persona que nos atendió en recepción fue muy amable. La ubicación en Tossa está muy bien, cerca del centro y playas, pero nada bullicioso. Hotel muy anticuado. Mobiliario muy antiguo, las paredes muy sucias, el cuarto de baño diminuto. La ducha estaba taponada. La cortina de la ducha no llegaba al suelo, con lo que el agua caía en el suelo del cuarto de baño. Había un balconcito, con mesita y dos sillas muy sucias, que daba a un muro con tuberías...horroroso. El hotel necesita una actualización. El servicio en la terraza para desayunar fue muy poco atento. Por todo ello, creo que el precio es demasiado caro para la calidad recibida. No volveremos. |
