Het 4-sterrenhotel Delfín ligt op 200 meter van het Platja Gran-strand en beschikt over een zonneterras op het dak met een hot tub en een prachtig uitzicht op Tossa. Elke ruime kamer is voorzien van gratis WiFi en een balkon.
De kamers zijn uitgerust met airconditioning en hebben een inrichting in blauwe tinten. Ze bieden uitzicht op een privétuin of op het stadscentrum. Elke kamer beschikt over een flatscreen-tv met satellietzenders, een minibar en een kluisje.
Het restaurant van het hotel heeft een open keuken en serveert buffetmaaltijden. Er is ook ook een stijlvolle snackbar.
Hotel Delfín bevindt zich op 15 minuten lopen van de vuurtoren van Tossa, die een panoramisch uitzicht biedt op de Costa Brava.
Delfín is in Tossa de Mar
Stad van préromaanse origine, is met zijn ommuurde, uit de XIIe eeuw deterende Vila Vella en eigenaardige ligging, één van de voor de Costa Brava meest karakteristieke stadjes.
De moderne stadskern hebben het karakter van het ouide vissersdorp van verschillende nieuwe elementen voorzien, echter zonder ook maar iets van het bekoorlijke geheel te bederven. Zodra men vanaf zee Tossa de Mar in zicht krijgt, komt men eerst nog langs Roca del Moro, La Cambra, Cala del Moltó en Els Cars, daarna de bekende baai Es Codolar, die begint met een helling en steeds nauwer wordt, tot aan de oude stadsmuur.
Deze baai vormde de natturlijke haven van Tossa de Mar, en nog steeds liggen de vissersbootjes daar verankerd aan de rotsen. Deze baai is, met zijn oude toren als eindpunt, onvergetelijk en sinds lange tijden één van de meest opvallende kemmerken van het aangezicht van Tossa de Mar.
Op Es Codolar volgt Cap de Tossa de Mar, op de top waarvan zich de vuurtoren verheft. Voorbij deze kaap komt de gesloten bocht van het strand van Tossa de Mar in zicht. Dit strand is in werkelijkheid gevormd door Mar Gran en in tweeën gedeeld door de grillige “riera”, een riviertje, gevormd door het van de bergen narr de zee stromend regenwater, en een stukje rotsachtige kust Ses Glorietes geheten, waarin zich hier en daar kleine strandjes vormen en waar steeds meer villa’s gebouwd worden en Mar Menuda, het strand tegenover het eilandje la Illa, en die eerderbeschreven van de ouderdom van Tossa de Mar.
Na het iberische Tossa de Mar waarin comerciële contacten met de grieken bestonden, komt de romeinse stad, waaraan nog een paar prachtige grondmozaïeken herinneren en waarin, naast de naam van de artiest of eigenaar, ook die van de stad voorkomt: Turissa.
Vanaf Tossa de Mar de kust verder volgend, richting Sant Feliu de Guíxolss, verdwijnen de kustpaadjes. De weg wordt bepaald door Sierra de Tossa de Mar, met een maximale hoogte van 520 m in Puig de Ses Cadiretes, de meest abrupte en spectaculaire top van de hele zone. Het panorama dat men vanaf deze heuvel heeft is indruk wekkend vanwege zijn uitgestrektheid.
Vervolgens, Cala Bona, Cala Pola met een camping en een moderne urbanisatie, Cala Giverola, Cala Salionç en Cala Vallpresona aand de voet van het kapelletje van Sant Grau, dat op 360 m. hoogte het landschap domineert, Cabanyes en Cala Canyet.

Location, restaurant staff and breakfast. Our room was very noisy so we asked the staff to change the room, but they changed it for a noisier one! As we were staying for 5 nights, we asked to change the room again and a member of the staff joined us to the room to verify the noise (she said she didn't hear anything, when we were over the kitchen extractor and the balcony fence was trembling). It seemed that the more we complained about the room the worst service we had! The third day, after being given a room without noise, we arrived late at night and the room hadn't been cleaned!!!! The fourth day, we towels had spots like if they weren't clean enough,so they changed them. In summary, a very expensive hotel, with a careless staff, and a very poor customer service. We don't recommend it at all. |

Les instal·laciones, vam estar en una suite magnífica. Anàvem tres adults, i va ser molt agradable no molestar-nos, gràcies a l'espai de l'habitació. L'esmorzar, fantàstic, generós, amb un personal atent i agradable. La situació, tot i que aparentment està a prop del centre, és recomanable. L'amabilitat del seu personal, l'atenció per complaure'ns és d'agrair. El solarium, relaxant, amb un ambient familiar on es respecta el silenci de la resta. No vam trobar cap element que molest. |

pas grand chose...Je su je suis arrivé le 7 avril aprés un périple d'une journée et trés fatiguée, la chambre qui m'a été attribuée était remplie de fumée de tabac et d"une odeur infecte, j'étais épuisée et je me suis endormie quand même malgré le bruit, je me suis réveillée trés malade et mon séjour a été horrible, bruits toute la nuit, personnel à l'accueil non aimable, je voulais rentrer chez moi et changer billet d'avion etcs, internet ne fonctionnait pas!! j'ai du rester la bas jusqu'au 13 avril, c'est un endroit horrible que je déconseille, jamais je n'y retournerai pour tout l'or du monde, personnel de l'accueil méprisant et le mec le dernier jour ne voulait pas me donner ma valise qu'il gardait, j'ai failli rater mon car, avion, je conseille l'hotel Costa Brava sur Tossa.Comme je fais enquête/mystère je vais pas les louper ds mon rapport |

La situation geographique tres centrale a seulement 2 min a pied de la plage, la chambre tres moderne et propre, le personnel tres acueillant, la possibilute de garer la voiture dans la rue tres pres de l'hotel et gratuit, le wi-fi excellent, le petit dejeuner, la terrase. On a meme prolonger notre sejour avec encore 2 nuits. Absolutement parfait! The shower was very good and temperature regulation was great (this is sometimes a weak point in many hotels). The view from our room was to an interior patio with trees, which was nice. The breakfast has a good selection and food was quite fresh. Several aspects were disappointing from the very start. The dinner buffet was overpriced for the quality of the food offered; a steak I had was chewy and so was the bread. The hotel garage (about 300 m away) did not have space so we had to keep the car in a public garage (20 EUR/day, not expensive but still double the hotel price). Room airco didn't work and we spent most of night overheated. Moreover, we asked for a baby cot at the time of booking, arrived at hotel at 19.00 and no cot was there - had to remind them. Overall, poor value for money for a hotel located in the center of the town of Tossa de Mar. Note: Booking.com advertises babysitting facilities in hotel; when we asked about this upon arrival, they didn't know about it. Next morning, they said that they can call a babysitter if needed... I find this somehow misleading advertising by Booking.com. |

Friendly staff throughout. Sufficiently spacious and well appointed room and bathroom facilities. The dining room offered freshly cooked food as well as a hot and cold range of food for their buffet. This applied for both breakfast and evening meal. At 15 euros per head the full buffet was available for dinner as well as a choice of freshly and expertly cooked choices of several types of fish and meat. Not to be missed! The hotel was centrally placed in Tossa for both access to the beach and seafront and yet the countryside was easily available by car. There was a lack of lounge areas for a 4 star hotel.ie Nowhere to relax with a drink after a meal or returning from a day out, except for their attached cafetaria which was a bit grim inside as were the few tables outside on a narrow pavement. If they put a cafe terrace outside at the back above the kitchen the problem would be solved. They do have a fairly spacious roof top spa/jacuzzi area for guests only but this is not staffed and its surrounding fence prevents views of the town. Also the air-conditioning was rather noisy and needs upgrading to newer, quieter models. |

Good location just beside the seaside yet close to the city centre. The buffet supper (cost 15 Eur) is really worth paying: different kinds of meat, seafood, salads, desserts, and the chief who makes it all unforgettable. Can't but pay attention to professional and friendly staff, especially waitress. Also, the exterior of the hotel in fact different from those on the same street and surrounding ones: fresh and fancy, in comparison with others. Nothing to mention. We were to much satisfied by environment and the hotel to notice some negative issues. |

High quality hotel in a good location. Rooms were great and big balcony. Modern facilities and roof top terrace. The reception staff were nice but I found the restaurant and breakfast room staff bordering on aggressive. For example when I entered or left the restaurant they made no attempt to make me feel welcome. On one occasion when i paid for dinner there was no thank you or goodbye despite a tip. The chef was very nice and professional, I know this is a bit drawn out but the restaurant staff urgently need customer service training because this is a great hotel let down by a couple of waitresses who make you feel unwelcome. |

Location of hotel was very good. Close to main streets, shops & beach. The standard of the room was very high and well maintained. The room was on the back of the hotel which caught sun in the morning. Balcony was a little small but as a solo traveller not a big problem. Quality of coffee for breakfast was poor. |

Very convenient for beach, the old town and the bus station (we arrived by bus from Barcelona) Very clean and comfortable with an excellent buffet breakfast. Hot tub on the roof is a real treat. Terrace is overlooking the road and if you are on the first floor there is little privacy from passers by. |

Room was comfortable on the whole, nice bed, decent bathroom, fee wi fi. Breakfast choices limited and breakfast restricted to a two hour slot so we had to miss it completely on the day we left. We had a suite and as we were paying over 100 euros per night, would have expected the view to have been better and not overlooking rundown roof tops. Also very noisy. Dirty footprints on the floor of the suite when we arrived - cleaning issues. No tea or coffee making facilities in the suite, no paper or pen in the suite, no fresh fruit as promised when booking. |

The hotel was perfect for our needs; a comfy, clean, well located hotel as a base for our holiday. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean (including the bathrooms! The showers were fantastic too!). Breakfast was fantastic with a huge range of choice. All in all a very pleasant stay. Reception staff were not as friendly as the rest of the staff. |

Nice location as it's close to where most of the action is, in Tossa-de-mar. The rooms didn't have ac (only heater). It became somewhat suffocating in the night, and we had to leave the balcony door open. |
