Commentaire de la réceptionniste: "C'est normal que vous ayez froid, car la chambre est au bout du couloir"! De plus, le coffre-fort ne fonctionnait pas. Heureusement qu'on a pu changer de chambre le lendemain (mais dans celle-ci, l'installation jacuzzi de la baignoire était cassée). Spa: 50% des jets d'eau de la piscine ne fonctionnaient pas, de même qu'un tiers des douches. |

Le directeur, un homme charmant et parlant très bien français, nous a vite fait oublier les problèmes rencontrés à l'arrivée. Spa grandiose, malgré quelques couacs. Tots els serveis son excel.lents i la situació amb la cala es de cine La comida del restaurante aparte de ser muy cara es malísima, no me extraña que no hubiese nadie comiendo en el, la atención en terraza y bar fuera de temporada es nula te cobran 14 € por un cóctel y la camarera te indica que no todos los saben hacer y al pedir bloody Mary te lo hace y verdaderamente no es un bloody Mary, si no lo sabe hacer que lo diga y me ahorro el mal trago de beber lo que ella quiera y encima pagar muchísimo por ello, después de estar más de 45 min. Esperando en la terraza para pedir un aperitivo mi marido y yo nos vamos aburridos de esperar fuera del hotel a tomarlo, no habría necesidad de salir del hotel si la comida fuese algo más barata de 100€ o si te cobran esto que sea comida de buena calidad y si no que te sirvan algo para poder picotear en la terraza, que no sea verano no significa que no se pueda tomar algo en la terraza o que cuando esté en ella que no te retiren los cojines de los sillones de la zona chill out y no te puedas ni sentar. |

From the moment you arrive there are very few hotels that give you such a sense of welcome The staff at check in superb , the room standard superb , the facilities superb. Could not fault it in any way. The Costa Brava is not a place I would have seen as a location for a break but after this hotel find it will become one. 10/10 too all concerned cannot speak higher of this hotel its staff and facilities. And the manager is a true professional who takes huge pride in his hotel. Not 5 star standard, poor/too traditional and boring restaurant menu. when the security man saw us parking the car directly someone from the staff came to us for the lugage and an introduction in dutch! Fantastic setting with staff that make you feel very special. Access to seculeded beach and great pools. Short walk to the main town. Beware the massage. The lady that massaged us was strong and hard not a relaxing experience. |

Overall: nice look and very good personnel. + nice outside look of the hotel + breakfast + pool + free parking + nice general facilities + sea view for all rooms + helpful personnel Overall: room is not up to the 5-star standard. - hotel requires a bit renovation in a room (furniture and the bathroom) - bath room is not up to 5 star (small, equipment is cheap, mold, dripping from the ceiling), - wi-fi is really slow all the time - one can hear what happens in the adjoining rooms over night |

The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed for 10 days. I think we were the only English people there but that in no way spoilt our holiday, in fact it might have enhanced it! The best spa at any hotel we have stayed in ( and my wife always insists on a spa).A really beautiful setting and a short walk to the village with all it's restaurants and amenities.A superb buffet breakfast. I would challenge any hotel to provide better....and we have tried very many. really can't think of anything |

The location was excellent. It had a semi private beautiful beach with good sand and rocks for snorkeling. The pool was a very pleasant place to be and a second private sun terrace gave plenty of variety. We did not dine in the restaurant as we chose to go to the nearby town to eat and explore the many shops within a short walking distance of the hotel. It was a lovely comfortable hotel but some of the decor was over the top and a yet the shower in the bathroom was a little low quality item. But was still a very enjoyable stay. |
