Das Schloss Tossa und den Leuchtturm erreichen Sie in 10 Gehminuten entlang der Strandpromenade, an der auch viele Geschäfte, Bars und Restaurants liegen. Der Flughafen Girona ist 30 Fahrminuten vom Gran Hotel Reymar entfernt.
Gran Hotel Reymar ist in Tossa de Mar
Als Seebad erlebte Tossa de Mar seine Goldenen Jahre um die Jahrhundertwende und in den ersten Jahrenzeiten des 20. Jh. Schriftsteller, Dichter, vor allem Maler schätzen Tossa de Mar, das milde Klima und die landschaftliche Umgebung.
1951 fungierte Tossa unter dem Phantasiename “Esperanza” als malerische Kulisse für den englischen Spielfilm “Pandora und der fliegenden Holländer”, in dem Ava Gardner und James Mason die Hauptrollen spielten. Durch diesen Strafen wurde Tossa auch dem breiteren Publikum bekannt, und schon bald darauf rollten die erste Busse aus deutsche Landen an.
Zu den attraktionen, die die Costa Brava bereits in den 1960er Jahren zu einem touristischen reiseziel ersten ranges machten, zählt die Burg von Tossa de Mar. Der als Cap de Tossa oder Cap d’Or bekannte Gebirgsausläufer trennt die kleine Bucht Cala des Codolar vom Platja Llarga, dem Strand, der sich an der Bucht von Tossa erstreckt. Sieben Türme mit Maschikulis und eine zinnenbewehrte Mauer aus dem 12. Jahrhundert schützen die mittelalterliche altstadt, in der die ruine der alten Kirche und der gotische Gouverneurspalast (14. Jh.) erhalten sind.
Heute bietet Tossa de Mar außer dem relativ kleinen Strand eine wirklich sehenswerte Oberstadt (Vila Vella), die mit interessanten Mauern und Türmen umgeben ist und markante Elemente mittelalterlicher Befestigungskultur zeigt. Auf einem Hügel über dem Meer gelegene Altstadt steht heute unter Denkmalschutz. Das sehenswerte, vorbildlich restaurierte Altstadtensemble (12. bzw. 13. Jh.) unterstreicht den Charmen des Natursteins.
Der einzig erhaltenen Reste der römischen Vergangenheit, Els Ametllers, ist an der Av. del Pelegrí nahe der Touristeninformation. Die beiden Anwesen, oberhalb eine Stadtvilla, unterhalb ein ländlicher Bau, sind aus der Zeit zwischen dem ersten und em vierten Jahrhundert. Außer Grundmauern und einigen weniger Mosaiken (die besten sind im Museum) ist allerdings wenig zu besuchen.
Der Leuchtturm hoch über Vila Vella der letzten Recherche zu einem Museum umgebaut, das sich mit moderner Technik den Leuchttürmen des Mittelmeers widmen soll.
Tossa genießt eine fortschrittliche Tourismuspolitik. Dabei wissen die Damen und Herren vom Fremdenverkehrsamt durchaus um die Bedürfnisse ihrer vorwiegend ausländischen Touristen. Tossa de Mar verweist man auf ein ausgedehntes Netz von Wanderwegen und auf die dank der Kläranlage hervorrangende Wasserqualität, die mit der blauen Europafahne belohnt wurde.
Im Stadtmuseum im Palau del Batlle finden sich Zeugnisse der aufenthalte von Marc Chagall, André Masson, Joaquim Sunyer und anderen von der Landschaft der Umgebung faszinierten Malern.
Neben schönen Stränden, wie dem Platja de Llorell und dem der Cala Morisca, besitzt Tossa eine der schönsten Straßen dieses Küstenabschnitts: die Landstraße, die auf 25 kurvenreichen Kilometern vorbei an den Buchten Cala Salions, Sa Futadera, Cala Giverola und Cala Pola nach Sant Feliu de Guíxols führt.

ausschliesslich die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend Das Hotel, ein ca. 50 jähriges Gebäude aus den 60er Jahren, schlecht gebaut, wahrscheinlich mehrfach notdürftig renoviert, entspricht höchstens dem Komfort eines mittelmässigen 3*-Hotels. Kleine Zimmer, diverse Sachen in schlechtem Zustand. Und das bei einem Zimmer reis (2 Personen) von 315€ - damit nicht genug bei Frühstücks buffet sind viele Normalitäten wie frisch ggepresster Orangensaft, Cappucion etc nur gegen Aufpreis erhältlich. Spa kostet extra, Garage kostet extra, etc. etc. wäre alles akzeptabel zum halben Preis aber nicht mehr bitte |

My husband and I just spent 6 nights at the Grant Hotel Reymar in Tossa de Mar and absolutely loved it! The hotel is situated and designed perfectly to capture the beautiful views of the sea and old town providing a very serene and peaceful setting. The building design was done beautifully to provide so many different common areas to capture beautiful views. The pool and deck areas are fabulous!! The rooms are spacious and albeit simple are just fine. The buffet breakfast each morning was terrific and again provided in a beautiful setting with a wide selection to suit any palate. The Gran Hotel Reymar is the perfect place to provide a relaxing type of holiday! All of the staff we encountered were lovely. Didn't like having separate AD-HOC charges such as paying 29 Euros for the safe. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant on night and although the menu, price and portions were great - the hot dishes were not hot - and served kind of lukewarm. |

Понравилось практически все: улыбчивый, добродушный персонал в баре, в ресторане. Особенно хочу отметить русскоговорящих девушек на ресепшене Лиану и Лизу. всегда отзывчивы и готовы помочь. Хорошая кухня, завтрак- шведский стол (шикарный). Отель расположен удобно, пляж в двух шагах, цент городка в 5 минутах ходьбы. Красивейший городок, узкие улочки, старинные здания. Просто супер. Lo que más me ha gustado ha sido su ubicación, con unas magníficas vistas tanto hacia la playa de Mar Menuda como hacia el castillo de Tossa de Mar. El otro aspecto a destacar muy positivamente es el servicio de restaurante, con servicio a la carta y comida de gran calidad, y el personal del mismo muy atento. Y con una gran cristalera que lo rodea desde la que admirar el paisaje. Nos alojamos 2 adultos y 2 niños en una suite-jardín, excelente. Pocas actividades para niños, aunque en nuestro caso buscábamos una cierta tranquilidad después de varios años yendo a hoteles más dedicados a niños. Es un hotel caro aunque merece la pena. |

Месторасположение. Кроме месторасположения больше в этой гостинице искать не чего. Обычная 3 *** гостиница к 4 **** никакого отношения не имеет. Останавливались в номере полу люкс, номер большой и. Все что можно сказать. Ценны очень завышены. Завтрак не плохой, ужин ужасный, официанты обслуживают плохо, путают заказы. Еда не вкусная. Кому не жалко выбросить 2 тыс евро ( двух. местный номер) за неделю в проживание в номере 18 метров, тогда можно приезжать. Тосса -де Мар нет хороших гостиниц на узбережье. Может мое замечание поможет кому то не выбросить деньги и в нормальных условиях отдохнуть. |

Очень любезный персонал, готовый Вам помочь в любом вопросе, особенно две девушки на ресепшен, говорящие по русски - Лиана и Лиза. Великолепна еда, очень деликатно приготовлена и из свежайших продуктов, прекрасный выбор блюд, каждый день новые, размер порций огромный, не наестся невозможно, такое впечатление, что шеф-повар учился во Франции, соуса у блюд восхитительные. Отель очень понравился!!! Тихое, спокойное место, располагающее к размеренному отдыху, без шумных дискотек и излишней суеты. Природа великолепная, море чистейшее, очень близко к отелю. Отель по сервису и еде вполне соответствует 4 звездам, но это не бюджетный вариант, особенно для любителей турецкого шведского стола с непрекращающимся 'вином' из канистр и прочим некачественным алкоголем. Размер комнат с видом на море немного маловат, в принципе это не очень ощущается, но когда распаковываешь и запаковываешь чемоданы - очень даже. Жалко что у отеля нет своего пляжа или хотя бы договоренностей, что для постояльцев отеля лежаки бесплатно. Мы были в красный сезон, поэтому пляж был практически все время забит народом, все время приходилось баланстровать между отдыхающими без лежаков и на лежаках, порой бывало поосто не пройти. Лежаки весьма дорогие для такого качества - 6 евро, зонт - также 6 евро. Пляж с крупным мраморным песком, немного колется в первые три дня, потом привыкаешь. Несколько раз прибивало мусор, но пляж регулярно чистят. В зоне обозначенной буйками для плавания все время заплывали отдыхающие на водных велосипедах и молодежь на каноях, что сильно мешало плавать. |

La proximité de la plage, mais l'eau était sale le lendemain de notre arrivée. Nous sommes donc restés à la piscine. Le solarium au calme. Très déçus, depuis notre arrivée à la réception, pas l'allure d'un 4 étoiles, et pas à la hauteur de nos attentes. J'ai réglé 246 € la nuitée avec vue sur mer,et nous nous retrouvons avec une vue sur piscine, et la mer au lointain, avec le bruit et toute la gêne occasionnée. Dans l'obligation de fermer le volet roulant, pour être dans l'intimité, et éviter toute la promiscuité. Inadmissible pour un hôtel de ce standing,et une chambre dont le prix est déjà élevé de faire payer 13 € de parking , et le jus d'orange frais en supplément au petit déjeuner. Chambre mal insonorisée. |

Everything was just about perfect. Location is incredible...sitting out on the patio was amazing with views that truly are once in a lifetime for Americans like us. Easy walking to tons of outstanding restaurants, bars, and shops. Beach is a little rough in terms of rocks which I am guessing is just the way beaches on the Mediterranean are. Also, beach got very crowded, but on the positive side, made for some great people watching. Very diverse crowd. |

Pool area lovely and spotlessly clean Bathroom smelled of dirty drains. Lady at desk when checking out overcharged us by 25 euros- when I queried it she kept us waiting whilst looking through masses of papers. When she found our booking and believed me - there was no apology. |

The location of the hotel was fantastic. Walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Beautiful views of the beach and the town. The beds were very uncomfortable. They were two single beds pushed together which is considered a double. |

Le personnel courtois et parlant le français. Situation géographique bord de plage très beau paysage. Le jacuzzi. Le coin bar très agréable. Les terrasses du bar très agréable. Balcon de la chambre spacieux. Chambre et hôtel très propre. Petit déjeuner excellent. Proximité restaurants et commerces. Parking et piscine intérieure payantes. Salle de bain mal agencé (lavabo à 40 cm devant les wc ! personne de grande taille ça va être du sport), nous avons été réveillé à deux reprise à 6/7Hrs du matin par les poubelles qui étaient sous le balcon, Chambre très mal insonorisé simple vitrage (on entend tout du couloir de l'hôtel au bruit des vagues). Carrelage de la piscine mortel... Une vraie patinoire les pieds mouillés !, l'eau de la piscine froide... Normal vu qu'à 3/4Hrs de l'après midi elle est à l'ombre caché par le bloc de l'hôtel ! Bref un bon 3 étoiles, mais pas 4 ! |

Wonderful location overlooking the beach and castle. Staff very friendly. The standard of accomodation was good. The hotel has the air of exclusivity and this made for a relaxing break. Buffet breakfast was excellent. The indoor pool was attached to the Spa and was expensive to use (20 euros per hour). Children could only use it between 8.30am and 9.30am. The evening meal was fine - four courses with choices, but the standard of food did not quite live up to the waiter service. |

The place and sea view was excelent! Very nice rooms with the sea view - renovated and bright, although the ones with the garden view have old furniture. The beach is just accros the street which is rather calm as the hotel is quite way from the town center. The breakfast meniu has small choice and is the same every day but the small cakes were excelent.The rest of the meals were diverse and tasty. The Jacuzzi near the pool had too much chlorine in it - cold not stay there more that a few minutes. The small 'gardens' in the balcony need weeding nettles out! |

Location, food was really good, service was good. Rooms were renovated and good quality. Being able to open the whole window-wall to the sea view was great. Indoor pool that is in the photos actually costs 13 euros extra per person per day as it is part of the spa centre next door. Wifi continually dropped out. |

Läget är fantastiskt precis vid havet. Vi hade rum med havsutsikt och det kan jag varmt rekommendera. Ganska litet men rent och fräscht rum med allt man behöver. Frukostbuffén var jättebra med allt man kan önska och restaurangen har också panormafönster ut mot havet. Location, view, good breakfast buffet. Great sized bathroom. We did not eat any other meals there so not qualified to comment. Weather was disappointing for mid May. Cold and windy. Consequently unable to comment on pool or other activities. Would go back to try again. Surprised that I had to rent a safe for my valuables. First time ever anywhere. Balcony view of a parcade less the 15 ft away right above the laundry. Very noisy. Room description on the booking site should advise of the advantage of a ocean side view.. The other side of the hotel is less than charismatic. |

La situation géographique Pour le prix de la chambre a 147.00 €,il a fallu rajouter la location du coffre a 6.50 € par jour, le parking a 13.00 € par jour et même la baignoire a remous est payante sans parler du jus d'orange frais en supplément a 2.75 € ,une honte pour un hotel 4 étoiles, c'est la premiére et derniére fois que je viens dans cette hotel. |

Great position right on the beach, in walking distance of castle, shops and restaurants. Food was good but barely above average for a 4* hotel.... one lunch was excellent. Paid hotel parking was available, but free street parking was just around the corner. Friendly, helpful staff, but our son and his wife could not get a double bed.... we were, however, given a complimentary bottle of cava. Wonderful destination for a holiday! No complaints |

тосса-де-мар в принципе потрясающее место. отель прямо на побережье. есть выход на пляж немного подальше от основного (не так много народа). из отеля невероятно красивый вид на море, побережье, крепость. наверное самое красивое место на всем побережье испании. отель не новый, но вполне приличный. номер был из недорогих. рекомендую не жадничать и брать вариант с видом на море. это действительно стоит того. очень хороший завтрак. можно завтракать на открытой террасе и слушать звуки моря. wi-fi в номере быстрый (бесплатный). парковка имеется (13 евро за сутки). на рецепшн есть девушка, которая говорит по-русски (кому важно). рядом есть спа - за отдельную плату (не пользовались). на побережье очень много отличных ресторанов. номер достался с видом на парковку. в джакузи невероятное количество хлорки - даже не рискнула воспользоваться. |
