Fantastic place, very quiet, nothing but sound of crickets and distant cow-bells at night, beautiful mountains, forests and wild-flower meadows all around, lots of hikes immediately from the house, lots of nearby scenic mountain drives along dirt roads, tiny, old, picturesque village, 12th century church and castle ruins within 20 mins walk through countryside, lovely village of Beget just down the road, swimming in the river below Beget. Internet would be useful at the house, as would provision of some simple cooking essentials such as salt, pepper, olive oil. |
