Al sur de Palamós, Sant Antoni de Calonge es hoy un gran centro turístico y, ya en el interior, en el pueblo de Calonge se encuentra un interesante castillo medieval.
De Palamós hacia el sur, un camino de ronda lleva por lugares emblemáticos (como la playa de la Torre Valentina) hasta Platja d’Aro, población que, a lo largo de los más de 2 kilómetros de playa, concentra una verdadera ciudad al servicio del ocio.
