Great situation, lovely views ! Complete breakfast including cava :-) Parking and stairs were no problem, even with elderly people and little son of 2,5 yrs.

Habitación con puertas del baño que no cerraban por estar rotas o defectuosas.Encontrar enseres personales de los clientes anteriores por no revisar habitación y el ruido nocturno de los vecinos.

La ubicación del hotel y el trato recibido. Nos ha gustado tanto que tenemos una reserva para otro fin de semana.

Las almohadas eran muy altas, para lo que nosotros estamos acostumbrados, y nos levantamos con el cuello dolorido.

Beautiful setting looking down onto the beach. Charming staff. The bar serves perfect light meals. To divert children small and large, there is a troupe of hotel kittens gambolling on the terrace outside the restaurant windows.

Two small details in an otherwise perfect stay: Coffee, hot water, hot milk in the urns at the breakfast buffet were all tepid, not hot. The cleaning products used in the hotel left the bedroom and bathroom smelling like a sticky boiled sweet -- had to open the windows every time we came into the room to avoid stifling in the sugary smell. Can't be very good for the cleaning staff either.

very nice room with view on the sea and terrace. you can listen the waves. the village is very quiet and just beautiful. the cami de ronda is just passing by. you can easily get back from tracking trips by cab. although the hotel closed down yesterday until april the breakfast buffet was perfect until the last minute.

just a hint: be prepared that parking can be a bit difficult, especially in summer

The hotel is in a cute little town right on the beach with a beautiful view. The breakfast on the terrace was really nice.

Most things were closed in town in October (only 4 restaurants open and nothing else).

intimate hotel in mountain side/seaside village. breathtaking views of the sea and local architecture. Comfortable rooms, nothing fancy but location is amazing. This place is a hidden gem in Spain and should not be overlooked by travellers! Buffet breakfast is a great value and offers good selection.

Que no hubiera parquing donde dejar el coche. El precio de los refrescos en el bar nos pareció abusivo.

La ubicacion, perfecta, no se puede pedir mas. Camas anchas pero un poco duras. Comedor para el desayuno con magnificas vistas sobre la playa de Tamariu, pudiendo desayunar en la terraza si el tiempo acompaña. Buen buffet desayuno.

Falta remodelar un poco la decoracion de algunos lugares del hotel. Se ha hecho en las habitaciones pero falta en salones y mobiliario

Great location, on the hill, directly over the beach. Very rich and generous breakfast on a beautiful terrasse over the sea, under the shadow of the scuptural old pines. Wifi in the room.

La vue L'hotêl donnant directement sur la plage. La salle du restaurant et sa terrasse.

Chambre avec balcon minuscule et sans charme, très loin des 20 m2 annoncé !! Le petit déjeuner vraiment pas terrible (on est en Espagne !) Literie standard voir petite. Une odeur d'égout dans la salle de bain dont la propretée est tout juste honnête. Un seul ascenseur plus au norme et minuscule pour plus de 50 chambres (il faut se battre pour l'avoir). Pas de serviette pour les mains (une seule serviette de bain dont le moelleux et la blancheur ne sont plus depuis quelques années). Terrasse infestée de moustique le soir et de guêpe le jour. Pas de parking. Hotêl difficile d'accès en voiture. Finalement un hôtel cher pour si peu de confort !!

Après avoir fait 800 km, nous recherchions le calme!! notre chambre était sous le restaurant ou une fête à eu lieue( jusqu' après minuit!!! aucune excuse, nous avons abréger notre séjour dès le lendemain.

Parking, no air conditioner, room a bit cramped for 3 people and some guests were very load on both nights.

Szépen berendezett, tiszta hotel, segítőkész személyzet, bőséges reggeli. A strand közvetlenül a hotel előtt található. A strandolás mellett érdemes a környéken gyalogos kirándulásokat is tenni, nagyon megéri. Reggeli a teraszon felejthetetlen élmény.

Stayed 3 nights in a sea view room[no balconey] beautifull views from large window over beach and bay. Room was quiet, very clean and bathroom was well equiped. Good breakfast on terrace overlooking bay. helpful and friendly staff. There is a terrace with 8 sunbeds but no pool, beach is excellent and just down some steps

Door lock broken, felt vulnerable but wasn't fixed despite asking on two occasions. Paintwork in room left alot to be desired and smelt a bit damp.

No elevator - we were up 3 floors (16 stairs each) - and no regrets or apologies, just "kaput". No English spoken and no helpfulness or smiles, rather a miserable bunch. The breakfast looked awful especially for €11/each so we ate much better elsewhere for less.

Magnífica ubicació, habitació molt àmplia i confortable, espais comuns (terrassa, sala, menjador) molt agradables, amb vista esplèndida sobre el mar.

the location is great, the view on the sea fantastic, the staff very nice and friendly, we had a very large room with a huge window looking at the sea.

even if it was september it was quite hot in the room and there is no air conditioning (usually I would not complain, but for the price of the room I guess it could be provided)

La situación del hotel es excelente. La gente muy amable. Buenos restaurantes en la zona y a precios bastantes ajustados.

Albergo posizionato sul mare con bellissima vista, anche dalla camera. Personale molto disponibile e professionale. Colazione stupenda sul terrazzo, con splendida vista sulla spiaggia. Terrazza solarium con annesso bar ed ottima cucina anche per mangiare.

Abbiamo preso l'ultima stanza disponibile spacciata per tripla a ben 243 euro a notte. In realtà la stanza era una doppia con 3 letti incollati, due di dimensioni normali ed uno più piccolo. Tant'è che mia moglie dormendo nel letto centrale scendeva e saliva non di lato, ma dal davanti. Stanza senza aria condizionata e senza frigo. Tv praticamente inutilizzabile, canali solo spagnoli e molto disturbati. La spiaggia molto molto affollata di bagnanti che urlano in continuazione come al mercato.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est très agréable avec une vue magnifique sur la baie. Le petit déjeuner est de bonne qualité et en plus en terrasse vue sur mer, que demander de plus !

Le manque de parking mais possibilité de se garer à 3 minutes à pieds. Déçue par la soit disant "terrasse" qui n'était qu'un petit balcon sur le côté de l'établissement, le prix étant le même pourtant que pour une grande terrasse en façade. Il devrait y avoir un prix "balcon" et un prix "terrasse" ! nous ne devons pas avoir la même notion de surface. Faire attention lors de la réservation. Une impression désagréable de s'être faits arnaqués à ce sujet, le prix de la chambre était quand même de 210 € !!

Revisiting after 40 years, I found Tamariu as lovely as I remembered, although obviously busier. The hotel was peaceful with good facilities, the room was a good size, cool and efficiently serviced. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, we didn't have dinner there as we preferred to eat at one of the many beachside restaurants. Altogether a lovely experience and we would happily return to the Hostalillo.

Only a niggle - a fridge in the room would be useful.

The location was great, next to the lovely bay with great views. The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was good.

The hotel is a little expensive.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic position, just above the bay at Tamariu. The hotel and rooms were very well decorated, spotlessly clean and had a very Spanish feel to them. The bar and terrace were delightful. We only stayed one night but enjoyed the hotel and village immensely.

Nothing really! A swimming pool would be the icing on the cake, but I realise that would be difficult! Some rooms appear to have air conditioning and others don't - perhaps worth checking when booking.

Fabulous view from the small balcony. Good access to the beach (albeit by some steep steps). Good breakfast taken in an excellent setting.

This hotel is situated with a wonderful over view over the sea in a lovely small town.

The hotel is situated on a beautiful beach on Spain's Costa Brava. The "room with a balcony and sea view" genuinely had a most spectacular view. The breakfast terrace also had an amazing view of the beach and the cove. The staff were all very helpful and efficient

Fabulous situation above very pretty bay, only steps down to clear turquoise water. Breakfast, generous and delicious on the terrace amid pots of flowers--a dream of a Mediterranean holiday!

The staff were fabulous, so friendly and nothing too much trouble. The location is superb, overlooking Tamariu harbour and beach, with a lovely breakfast terrace by the sea.

The rooms are comfortable, clean and newly decorated but minute. If we had taken big suitcases we would have been falling over ourselves! It is also quite pricey because the village is so popular.

delightful small quiet village with excellent restaurants and bars. the Hostallillo is right on the beach but has a lot of stairs, so not recommended for people with mobility problems. did not eat in the restaurant as it was out of season so very limited. No pool or sports facilities but not a problem with the beach on the doorstep.

I loved the terrace beneath the pine trees overlooking the beach and harbour - having breakfast there in the sunshine was absolutely delightful - I couldn't have wished for a prettier place.

The room I originally booked, with a balcony but no sea view was adjacent to a public pathway up steps past my balcony - there were some trees or bushes that more or less screened it,but `I wa far happier when I was able to transfer after 4 days to a room at the other side of the hotel with a balcony and partial sea view at not much extra cost.

Beautiful setting in Tamariu. The breakfast is wonderful. Hiking from the hotel along the Mediterranean is spectacular. The rooms are spacious and have wonderful views.

location - fantastic views, good beach, close to other restaurants, coastal walks and quiet country roads to explore, breakfasts on the terrace,

our room was one of the few without a glimpse of the sea (we did not book a sea view room) but the hotel was very quiet and unlike most, we stayed for 6 nights so thought an upgrade would have been a good business move on their part.

I really liked this hotel. It's location is unbeatable, right above the beach. It's friendly, run like an old style hotel rather than the more impersonal, anonymous approach of so many supposedly luxury establishments. And the public areas, like the terraces, the lobby, the lounge and the restaurant are all really pleasant and well designed. A real pleasure to stay at and highly recommended.
