Colera ist eines der leisesten Häfen in der gesamten Costa Brava. Im direkten Kontakt mit der Natur, mit wenig Stadtentwicklung, und nur wenige Meilen von Cap de Creus und dem Französisch Red Küste (Côte Vermeille), dieses Dorf hat viele Anhänger gerade wegen seiner ruhigen und vertrauten Umgebung, auch im Hochsommer.
