I stayed with my 11 year old son. The location was just 5 minutesalk from the sea so perfect. The family who ran the hotel were so kind and friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Im sure I have put on a few too many pounds! The hotel has an old style which I like but our room was quite basic. We did not have air con and were only provided with a table top fan. We were unable to fully open the windows due to metal shutters and so the room was quite dark. We also thought that we would be getting a balcony but we didnt. The small tv also only had 3 channels, 2 of which were the same and only reported world news. The other was world news in french. I think id we had a balcony room and the channels we would have enjoyed the time in the room more. However it was a lovely stay in La Ffranc. |

La ubicació de l'hotel molt a prop de la platja. La gentilesa del personal. L'espai de la dutxa era molt petit i la pressió de l'aigua insuficient. Teníem una oferta de preu en règim de mitja pensió que se suposava tancada, però ens varen fer pagar les begudes a part (aigua i cervessa), malgrat que en el menú que costava 12 € aquestes estaven incloses. Curiós, no? |

La ubicación y el trato del personal de recepción. Un día bajamos media hora antes de cerrar el buffet del desayuno y faltaban muchas cosas esenciales (cucharitas, pan, aceite...) y aún avisando a la chica que atendía, tuvimos que esperar y repuso con cantidades mínimas y con poca amabilidad. |

The hotel has been run by the same family since 1930 when it was either the first or one of the first hotels in Llafranch. Three generations (female) take turns at Reception and they are all very helpful, and friendly as is. the old family dog Perla that my children adored. The room we had had been renovated and there was a balcony with a viewcof the sea. It is only about 100m to the promenade and beach. Breakfast is a well stocked buffet, which includes the possibility of an omelette *but not a fried egg!) cooked by the waitress in a little frying pan! 1.no air con but large fan helped. 2. no area to sit out on patio/garden 3. no pull- in area for taxis. |

Value for money, especially from the buffet breakfast included in the price. Helpful, friendly staff. Easy access to beach and coast. Like all Spanish hotels there is a slight smell of stale tobacco smoke in the corridors - it will probably be there until the next redecoration. |
