Dit hotel ligt op slechts 150 meter van het strand in het centrum van Tossa. Het hotel is modern en praktisch, en beschikt over een zwembad en een terras met ligstoelen.

Stad van préromaanse origine, is met zijn ommuurde, uit de XIIe eeuw deterende Vila Vella en eigenaardige ligging, één van de voor de Costa Brava meest karakteristieke stadjes.
De moderne stadskern hebben het karakter van het ouide vissersdorp van verschillende nieuwe elementen voorzien, echter zonder ook maar iets van het bekoorlijke geheel te bederven. Zodra men vanaf zee Tossa de Mar in zicht krijgt, komt men eerst nog langs Roca del Moro, La Cambra, Cala del Moltó en Els Cars, daarna de bekende baai Es Codolar, die begint met een helling en steeds nauwer wordt, tot aan de oude stadsmuur.
Deze baai vormde de natturlijke haven van Tossa de Mar, en nog steeds liggen de vissersbootjes daar verankerd aan de rotsen. Deze baai is, met zijn oude toren als eindpunt, onvergetelijk en sinds lange tijden één van de meest opvallende kemmerken van het aangezicht van Tossa de Mar.
Op Es Codolar volgt Cap de Tossa de Mar, op de top waarvan zich de vuurtoren verheft. Voorbij deze kaap komt de gesloten bocht van het strand van Tossa de Mar in zicht. Dit strand is in werkelijkheid gevormd door Mar Gran en in tweeën gedeeld door de grillige “riera”, een riviertje, gevormd door het van de bergen narr de zee stromend regenwater, en een stukje rotsachtige kust Ses Glorietes geheten, waarin zich hier en daar kleine strandjes vormen en waar steeds meer villa’s gebouwd worden en Mar Menuda, het strand tegenover het eilandje la Illa, en die eerderbeschreven van de ouderdom van Tossa de Mar.
Na het iberische Tossa de Mar waarin comerciële contacten met de grieken bestonden, komt de romeinse stad, waaraan nog een paar prachtige grondmozaïeken herinneren en waarin, naast de naam van de artiest of eigenaar, ook die van de stad voorkomt: Turissa.
Vanaf Tossa de Mar de kust verder volgend, richting Sant Feliu de Guíxolss, verdwijnen de kustpaadjes. De weg wordt bepaald door Sierra de Tossa de Mar, met een maximale hoogte van 520 m in Puig de Ses Cadiretes, de meest abrupte en spectaculaire top van de hele zone. Het panorama dat men vanaf deze heuvel heeft is indruk wekkend vanwege zijn uitgestrektheid.
Vervolgens, Cala Bona, Cala Pola met een camping en een moderne urbanisatie, Cala Giverola, Cala Salionç en Cala Vallpresona aand de voet van het kapelletje van Sant Grau, dat op 360 m. hoogte het landschap domineert, Cabanyes en Cala Canyet.

Le petit déjeuner était également de qualité et copieux. La situation de cet hôtel est parfaite, près de la plage et en plein centre du vieux Tossa de Mar. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir. The staff was very friendly and willing to help you at all times. We had to ask for hot water many times per day for the baby and they were always there to help us with that (with a smile), they even washed the bottles. The shower curtain was really dirty and it was yellow at the bottom, it needs to be changed. But the lady that cleaned the room every day did a great job. They didn't have air conditioning in the room, so it was a little bit hot sometimes. |

I booked a family room, advertised as "2 interconnecting double rooms". At check- in, this turned out to only be one room. Das hotel liegt sehr zentral in tossa,man ist überall in kürzester zeit: am meer, auf der burg, in der fußgängerzone. Die zimmer sind neu,modern und ansprechend gestaltet,das bad sehr sauber und praktisch eingeteilt. Wir waren 5 tage, auch übers Wochenende im hotel windsor und konnten uns gut erholen, auch wenn in der nacht die tonnen geleert oder die straße gekehrt wurde,dann wird für ein paar minuten laut, aber deshalb ist tossa immer blitzsauber. Nachts ist einiges geboten in der altstadt von tossa,das hört man natürlich auch aber man hat ja selber urlaub und möchte was sehen und erleben und das muss man auch den andern zugestehen! leben und leben lassen! Das frühstück war ok, wurst, käse obst, alles da, jeder findet da was! kaffee: na ja... Der pool ist sauber und groß genug zum schwimmen,in der engen altstadt von tossa eher selten. Die poolumgebung und der garten könnten etwas schöner gestaltet werden, was aber nicht so wichtig ist weil das meer direkt vor füßen liegt. Отель прекрасно расположен в самом центре старого года, и буквально в 2-х минутах ходьбы от пляжа, при чем, так как у него центральное расположение если смотреть на карту города, то близко от всего: от всех пляжей, крепости, набережной, кафе и автостанции. Отель для тех кому нужен бюджетный комфорт (если образно), т.е цена на отель средняя, но уровень услуг за эти деньги более чем достойный. Прекрасный номер (у нас был улучшенный с балконом в сторону бассейна), хорошая сантехника, очень дружелюбный персонал, идеальное расположение, на тихой улице, поэтому мы слышали шумные компании только в отдалении, и она не мешали спать. Завтрак - лично мне не хватало горячего. Не буду указывать это в минусах, так как для многих такой завтрак более чем хороший - выпечка просто выше всяких похвал, много фруктов. Просто я привыкла к кашам, блинам, омлетам и яичницам дома. Но это лично мои хотелки, мужу завтрак нравился. Слышимость есть, опять же не укажу в минус, так как это не критично было в нашем отдыхе. They claim that parking slots now can be reserved when booking a room. |

The breakfast was very good, and the room was cleaned everyday with free drink daily, shower gel and shampoo.The pool was lovely. Very noisy at night, televisions very loud and children being allowed to run up and down corridors and slam doors. Also, a lot of noise in the early hours from outside.Signs inside of hotel asking residents to enter rooms quietly at night may help. |

The hotel was great value for money. For the price, the rooms were, clean, spacious, airconditioned, and had a lovely balcony. There was also a free mini bar! The pool and surrounding terraces were well kept, and not overcrowded - even in August. The hotel's location was fantastic - close to everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel! no bidet |

Near city center and beach First the toilette didn't work when we arrived, the hotel staff had to fix it, this should be checked before they provide the room to the client. Secondly our room didn't had a/c, which with a baby was terrible because we had to sleep with the window open (over 30 degrees Celsius), and all the street noise kept waking us up through the night. Thank God it was one night! |

Proximity to the beach, restaurants and shops - everything in walking distance (although I must say Tossa de Mar is so small, you would probably achieve that with most hotels). The staff was very kind and helpful. Parking was provided. Bed was super awesome, swimming pool, pool table etc. We really enjoyed everything about the trip. Everything was great. |

We loved everything. It took 5 minutes of relax walking to get to the beach and 5 minutes to get to the bus station. It was very clean, the cleaning lady checked then room everyday, staff was nice and helpfull , the morning food, even though the same for 10 days, was good and plenty. We got a superior room, as we asked, and it was with new furniture and a balcony. Nice swimming pool , clean. We can't think of any bad things . . . Must go again and check |

The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed assistance or information. The "family room" that we had was clean and with two bathrooms & sets of wardrobes etc, it gave us lots of flexibility. The hotel location was close to the beach and shops. There wasn't any air conditioning in the room, so although this didn't directly affect us, later on in the season when temperatures are higher, this might mean the room could be stuffy. We weren't supplied with bathroom mats/towels and so the tiled floor got quite wet and slippy. |
