Dit door een familie beheerde hotel biedt een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad. Het biedt lichte kamers met gratis WiFi, een flatscreen lcd-tv en een koffiezetapparaat. Figueres en de Costa Brava liggen op slechts 20 km afstand.
Hotel Les Roques is een tv-lounge die uitkomt op het terras. Buiten is er sportveld en een speeltuin. Het personeel bij de receptie biedt u toeristische informatie, en u kunt gratis een fiets huren.
Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd in de bar van het hotel, met een open haard. Het restaurant biedt traditionele Catalaanse gerechten en heeft een terras.
Het hotel bevindt zich net buiten Bàscara, op 5 minuten rijden van het treinstation Camallera. Vanaf hier vertrekken regelmatig treinen naar Figueres en Girona. Figueres is bekend om het Salvador Dalí Museum.
Hotel Les Roques ligt op 25 km van het charmante middeleeuwse stad Girona. Het pension kan tegen extra kosten een pendeldienst regelen naar het vliegveld van Girona.

Zeer gunstige prijs. Schone en ruime kamer. Airco op de kamer. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Lekker groot Zwembad. Lekkere maaltijden voor een goede prijs. (vooral de typisch Spaanse stoofschotels met kikkererwten en tuinboontjes zijn heerlijk). Goede basis om het achterland van Catalunya te ontdekken. Erg mooi gebied en precies tussen Figueres en Girona in! Ook de kust is redelijk goed te bereiken met de auto in 40 minuten. Wat wij erg leuk vonden was de bedrijvigheid rond het hotel. Veel mensen uit de buurt komen er eten en zwemmen. Eigenlijk niets. Als er bij het zwembad nog een paar comfortabele ligstoelen zouden zijn in plaats van de harde houten ligbedden dan zou het wat ons betreft een 10 krijgen. |

l'amabilité du personnel, la cuisine (goutez les calamars à la plancha, la charcuterie pendue sur son présentoir et les confitures maison , et demandez à gouter le Ratafia digestif de la region ), la propreté, on se sent comme à la maison, la literie est très bonne, les bons conseils du patron pour visiter, la proximité du site entre Gerone, Figueras , les plages, les prix raisonnables surtout pour le petit déjeuner. L'hotel est un peu excentré mais cela fait son charme, dans son petit hameau , très calme. J'ai eu peur que les grenouilles chantent toute la nuit ! mais non, elle se sont tues avant que je ne m'endorme. |

Hem passat una nit en aquest hotel i ens hi hem trobat molt a gust. L'habitació número 4 era senzilla, però hi teníem tot l'imprescinible, i estava neta i calentona. L'hotel està apartat del nucli del poble de Bàscara, però per a nosaltres això no va ser un problema, al contrari! Té molt de moviment al matí, ja que el seu restaurant és punt de parada de grups de motoristes i ciclistes que volen esmorzar. L'esmorzar, que nosaltres no teníem inclòs en el preu, va resultar ser molt abundant i bo: torrades amb truita, mermelades casolanes, pastes a escollir, suc de taronja i cafès. Per últim, el personal ens ha atès molt bé. Potser és un hotel una mica sorollós, sobretot al matí quan el restaurant comença a emplenar-se de gent per esmorzar. |

We we travelling by bikes and arrived much later than expected. The family run Hotel waited outside for our arrival and were so welcoming and friendly. They could see that we were tired and Hungry from our trip so they opened up their restaurant and cooked us 2 very nice, big dinners and were so hospitable and accomodating. I strongly recommend this Hotel 5* quality! There is literally nothing that I can fault with the hotel! |

We loved the warm welcome and the helpful owner and his family and workers at this small hotel and restaurant. The swimming pool and restaurant were very close to the rooms. The food at the relaxed restaurant was very traditional Spanish, and many of the other diners were local people. A 'menu del dia' was available for 10 euros at lunchtime and 13 euros in the evening alongside a variety of a la cart dishes ranging from 5 to 10 euros for a main course. The coffee was excellent as was the local wine. The rooms were basic, but spotlessly clean and comfortable. The owners and staff were very interesting to speak to and gave us lots of tips about things to do in the area. They all speak English and the menus are available in English and a variety of other European languages. There was plenty of free parking just outside in the street, and the hotel is situated in a quiet residential area. We couldn't fault with the hotel or restaurant and would thoroughly recommend it. There were a few mosquitos around (we went in mid-September). |

The welcome we received from the staff was excellent in spite of it being a bank holiday in Spain and the hotel absolutely buzzing with local customers enjoying the facilities too. A great swimming pool and play area for the kids. The food was in our view exceptional and there was an excellent choice. It is a family run hotel and every member of the family was pitching in! In a great location only 20 minutes away from L'Escala and 30 minutes from Rosas so excellent location for exploring the coastline. Mustn't forget to mention good air con system in rooms! The bathroom was a little tired, but could not complain about cleanliness. Sound-proofing between rooms not terribly good. |

Inhaber und Personal sind super freundlich. Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und sauber. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker (besonders die Oliven!!!). Frühstück für kleines Geld ausgiebig und auch sehr lecker (frisch gepflückte Tomaten und Früchte, selbstgemachte Schokocreme). It was also really handy for jumping off the motorway for an overnight stay and then heading on again the next morning. Breakfast and coffee in the restaurant was also good and, overall, it was excellent value for money as it was clean, good beds and linen. If we'd had more time, we would have stayed another night. une adresse sans chichi... bon contact bon repas et petit déjeuner (attention c'est copieux) environnement très agréable (belle campagne), calme animation dans l'établissement ( et oui on est en catalogne et ça parle beaucoup) nada : todo bien ! |

Hôtel très accueillant, chambres climatisées très confortables. Prix très convenables. Patron et personnel super sympa, on se croit en famille. Restauration et petit déj. Plus que parfait, à des prix très convenables. A recommander si vous passez dans la région de Bascara, ou si vous voulez visiter un coin de Catalogne très joli (village médiéval, volcans parc nationaux, randonnées etc...), (de plus pas très loin du triangle Dali (Figuères, Cadaques /Portigliat et le château de Pubol).
