Badkamer was op het eerste zicht proper totdat je in de douche stapte het water liep niet door. Toen ik het voetstukje naar boven haalde verschoot ik van de vuiligheid in de douche. Deze wordt niet proper gemaakt. Vol let haar en zeepresten. Ik heb zelf ontstopper moeten kopen (2 bussen) en met de schuurspons alles proper gemaakt. De douche was toen ik er was veel properder dan toen ik er toekwam. De tweede douche ook trouwens want het appartement heeft twee douches.

Está muy bien ubicado, en plena zona vieja pero en una calle tranquila, no tuvimos ningún problema para dormir aunque las ventanas daban a la calle y era un fin de semana. Estuvimos en un estudio muy amplio y con todos los servicios necesarios. Nos resultaron muy útiles la lavadora y secadora.

Histoire de reprendre un peu toutes les remarques que j'ai pu lire sur cet établissement : situation idéale, on peut TOUT faire à pieds. Le parking est étroit mais franchement c'est possible avec n'importe qu'elle voiture ! L'appart était propre et pas si bruyant que ça : on est en centre ville et accessoirement en Espagne. Les gens font la fête la bas. Donc si on veut pas de bruit, on va pas en centre ville. La literie était nickel. Moi j'ai très bien dormi.Vous avez tout à proximité en plus : la boulangerie est à 20 m ! Et une multitude de petites épiceries à proximité. Les personnes qui s'occupent de vous sont A-do-râbles et très professionnelles. Enfin oui c'est sombre. On est aussi dans la vieille ville donc les rue sont étroites pour préserver de la chaleur. Ce sera partout pareil dans la veille ville. Enfin j'espère vous avoir convaincu parce que quand j'ai lu les commentaires, je m'attendais à une méchante surprise. Elle a été très agréable. Bien sur il y a des petits défauts mais franchement on vit très bien avec.

En el anuncio pone que hay conexión wi-fi en todas las estancias y no es verdad, en la nuestra no había. Publicidad engañosa. Entramos y el suelo estaba todavía mojado, lo tuvimos que volver a limpiar. El personal de la oficina bien en el trato pero poco eficiente resolviendo los problemas. Faltaban algunos de los utensilios de cocina básicos que debe haber en un apartamento cómo cuchillo de cortar o jabón para limpiar. El sistema de calefacción no calentaba toda la estancia.

The distance between the office and the actual apartment was a surprise and opening times of the office were rather limiting but staff, when there, were helpful. The lift right outside the apartment was very noisy and it was impossible to have a 'siesta' since the lift was in constant use during the day. Thankfully,though, the lift was not available to the public after 8pm.

Una estada molt agradable i cómode. Apartament cèntric, minimalista però modern. Fantàstic per una escapada!

We had great difficulty getting out of the underground garage and had to get help. There is very little space to turn into the lift. This delayed us 2 hours but fortunately we were not getting a flight.we have a Citroen berlingo but a small car wouldn't have a problem.

Месторасположение отличное в старом городе.Правда рядом мало магазинов, где можно купить еду.Но зато много кафе и ресторанов,а так же замечательная пекарня на этой же улице. Апартаменты замечательные, просторные, в кухне все есть для приготовления еды и даже посудомойка. Wi-Fi берет отлично в любом месте апартаментов.

Сложно сказать мы были только 2 ночи. Единственное нам пришлось ждать 15 минут у закрытого офиса чтобы сдать ключи,т.к. испанцы пунктуальностью не отличаются и офис открыли только в 10.15.

Excellent localization in the city centre close to the Cathedral and La Rambla, spacious room, helpful staff, well-equipped kitchen (microwave, toaster, washing machine, dryer, etc.)

Noise from the street may be disturbing, no WiFi in the room, the personell gave us pen-sticks with limited Internet access, at the balcony we could catch the Internet from Girorooms office :)

The apartment was modern, attractive, clean, bright, and in an excellent location right in the centre of Girona. The staff are very well-informed, friendly and helpful. A comfortable place.

Mirror and lamp only in one bedroom out of 3. Not enough kitchen equipment. Microwave didn't work. Not enough hot water.

It was spacious and in a great location on the edge of the old quarter and close to the river, The apartment had everything you needed for a short stay, A great place to stay especially on a tight budget. Great value !

úNicamente nos ha gustado la ubicación

Estaba increiblemente sucio, hasta el punto de encontrar uñas en el suelo, pelo en el baño y pelo que parecía de animal en todo el apartamento. El lavavajillas también estaba sucio y únicamente había un rollo de papel de wc para 3 días. Lo peor fue que fuimos a quejernos y nos aseguraron que lo habían limpiado unos días antes y que volverían, pero no hicieron nada o al menos eso pareció. En definitiva, muy poco confortable y mala relación calidad-precio.

Location - On the edge of the old town, but easily accessible by car. On site parking - secure but small. Be careful if you rent a car, as anything bigger than a golf/astra size will be awkward to park.

The first problem was that I booked an apartment or 4 adults in 2 rooms (ie 2 couples) and when we arrived we were given an apartment with 1 double and two single rooms. This may have been an issue between the booking.com system and the Girorooms system, but nevertheless it wasn't what I had booked or expected. They also didn't have my booking for parking, but this was easily solved as fortunately they had space. For the purpose of this review I'll point out that I stayed in the Bellaire apartments, flat 1-4. Next big issue was the quality of the furniture in the apartment. In the lounge/diner was a sofa bed, which was broken and the back of which was supported by the wall. If you sat on the edge of the sofa, to stand up or reach for a coffee, the sofa tilted forward. not good. The dining table was damaged with laminate missing from the table top. In the bedrooms, 2 of the 3 mattress' were past their best. When I sat on one of the single beds, I could feel the wooden slats underneath. My parents complained that they could feel all the springs in theirs. In the bathroom, the support for the showerhead was broken, which meant that you had to hold the shower head and in effect hose yourself down. The kitchen was fine, although crockery and cutlery was a but mix an match. So for an apartment, it had issues in the lounge, bedrooms and bathroom. The reception is situated in an office, not in the same building as the apartments, which is only open during office hours, bear this in mind if you have an issue and have booked to set off early for a day trip as the office does not open until 10am and closes at 8:30pm. On checking out, I brought all of the above to the attention of the staff member on duty, who made a list and said thanks. No apology and no contact since returning home. For the €210 paid (inc €28 for parking & €4 tourist tax) I don't feel like I received value for money.

A Comfortable and clean apartment with good facilities.

I think your experience will depend on the noise levels/ high spirits of your neighbours in the other rooms as walls are thin between the flats . Earplugs were essential. Other guests were shouting from the balconys. The road below is fairly noisy with bars underneath - but I would expect that from Spain/Catalonia.

Creo, ehhh También como está super bien localizado (en el centro histórico), se oyen los borrachos giris en la calle sin cualquier respecto por los vecinos! Es difícil dormir, a menos que salgas de fiesta tb... Lleva tapones...

Llegamos 10 minutos tarde por un atasco y nos cargaron el suplemento de 25€. Al llegar no había nadie en la oficina y estuvimos 30 minutos esperando bajo la lluvia. Poca seriedad. Habitaciones con mobiliario escueto hasta el punto de tener que abrir la maleta en el suelo. No repetiría.

The apartment is right in the heart of the old quarter, minutes from the cathedral, and being at the end of the Barca is not too noisy at night or in the day, so all in all the location is great. There was a separate (comfy) double bed so one didn't have to start hauling out the sofa bed every night. Little balcony to watch the world go by from was nice. There is an elevator.

The person in the office tried to fob us off with a horrible studio, which we had not booked, further down the street which she said was 'better': it was smaller, noisier, darker, dingy, up about 20 steps etc. and did not have a separate bed, only a worn out sofa bed. So watch out for this ruse! There wasn't much basic kitchen equipment in our studio, just a motley assortment of crockery and pans - this is a familiar prob. with all the different Girorooms apartments I have booked!

Clean, affordable, modern apartment in a good location.

They need to fix the shower in the room we had. The shower head holder didn't work so you had to hold it while showering. Also the shower curtain and tray didn't stop the shower leaking all over the bathroom.

Location was excellent right in the old town. Very well equipped - everything we needed for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Bathroom was very modern and all toiletries were included. Staff helpful and open until 7pm which was useful if arriving late.

Upstairs bedroom was a little claustrophobic and hot but the children didn't seem to mind and everything else far outweighed this shortcoming.

Well design apartment fully equipped. Located in the city center. No need to pay for parking, free parking in available on the street close by.

27yr old couple stayed for 2 nights in peak season for sight seeing... Location: Perfect everything within easy walking distance and right in centre of the old town - do not stay in the new town as all the sights are here you will end up doing a lot of extra walking if you don't. Only 15mins walking from the coach/train station. Room: Huge size for a studio double, clean, comfortable bed, sofa, table & chairs, cutlery etc, good size kitchen/fridge, big wardrobe, tv, free wifi, good lighting, two large balcony style windows, bathroom with mirror & shower. Also fresh towels & a complimentary toiletry set including a toothbrush. Staff: Extremely helpful showed us places worth visiting & a map & lent me a hairdryer on request for free. Price: Well worth the price I have stayed in more expensive 'budget' hotels that we're half the quality. We will be staying here again and wish all hotels at this price had this quality. Sound/Noise: This isn't a good thing or a bad thing yes there will be a lot of noise from the streets in the evening especially in high season -- its a city and like any city in the world its constantly busy and noise will occur plus it is in the old town & the buildings are older it is to be expected but shouldn't be a negative against this hotel so do not judge this on the reviews of others as it is common sense when you stay in a city it is going to be loud. I recommend this hotel highly.

Amazing building with great views over the river and across the street. Lovely facilities and located right in the middle of the old city just a few steps from the 'lioness.' Great to have good kitchen facilities and a washing machine.

The apartment was in the old city center...we could not ask for better!!!! :-) the apartment was clean and new. Fully furnished even if we just slept (no cooking). The apartment faces the main old street and the river on the other side.

The apartment is on the first floor but the stairs might be a problems for old people (very high and narrow stairs). The apartment is capable of 3 people; a little bit expensive for 2 people (75 euro per night).

Our loft was extremely well situated in the old town given we also had a car. Washing machine handy for longer stays as was the tiny kitchen. Overall impression is great value for money. Want something better then perhaps be you should be prepared to pay extra.

1) the apartment was cold and damp, but the heating system was off (it brought in cold air). We had to sleep with wool sweaters on. 2) wi-fi was not operating, no effort was made to fix it 3) personell was generally indifferent and rather blase to clients 4) the apartment is listed at different prices in other websites for the same days

Giorooms is well located in Griona and has all the apartment amenities that you will need. We stayed on the top floor in the building and we were right on the edge of the old town.

Negative aspects: the apartment is located by the railroad tracks, which is quite noisy. The bed was also very hard, which in combination with the noise did not make for a good sleep. The reception is not readily available and even though we paid 25 Euros for a late check-in there was no one there at our arrival. A quick email from Giorooms before arriving would have alerted us to this fact, to give us info on how to receive the key.

I had to leave in an emergency a day earlier as my mother died while I was on hols so I needed to book a flight home asap. I found communicating with the staff member at the desk difficult due to language barrier (I am from Ireland) but to be fair he arranged for me and my husband to have our flight boarding passes printed off before we headed for the airport

Staff very friendly. Excellent location. The apartment is confortable and well-equipped.

To be perfect: a light on the bathroom mirror, a soap dish in the shower, a mirror in one room.

Girorooms were very comfortable very spacious and spotlessly clean.

The rooms did not have a iron or iron board which i think is very important, we got a hairdryer on request. I think these items are very necessary and important items in any holiday apartment.

We had to pay 25 euro extra for arriving after 8pm. When we got to the apartment we realised it wasn't the one booked and that two of us would have to share a double bed and the other sleep on the sofa - I had specifically booked one with three beds. When we queried there was no apology and we were told no other apartment was available. When I complained they finally agreed to let one of us have a single apartment but this still meant one of us sleeping on a sofa when we had paid for beds. They didn't seem to see our point on this and just said 'well, it is a comfortable sofa' The next day we moved into a three bedroom apartment and this was really good but the attention to detail and better customer service would have gone a long way towards improving our initial impressions. To be honest I was ready to ask for money back and book into a hotel.
