Semidetached holiday villa with private swimming pool situated at 4km from the beach and city centre of l Estartit.The once quiet fishing village L Estartit has now become one of the most famous beach resorts on the Costa Brava. It is located at the foot of the Montgrí mountain range and has maintained its typical Catalan characteristics. The beach resort has an old. cosy centre with many shops. terraces and restaurants. From a wide long sandy beach you look out onto the Islas Medas. which were listed as a nature reserve for the preservation of the corals and the sea fauna. These islands are very popular with European divers. You can also take a trip on a glass bottom boat. There are many attractions in the region like Torroella de Montgrí (6 km). a picturesque. 13th century village where you can stroll through its narrow streets. have a drink on a terrace on one of the typical squares. or visit the impressive castle on the Montgrí mountain. Other attractive medieval villages in the region: Pals (15 km). Begur (22 km) and Peratallada (17 km) with the famous castle which now houses a casino. The town Figueras (39 km) has great shops and of course the famous theatre-museum of Dalí. In La Bisbal (23 km). the capital of ceramics. you will be able to buy great souvenirs. And there is lots to do at sports level too : the pretty 36 holes golf course of the Empordá Golf Club is only 7 km away and the beaches of lEstartit are ideal for all possible water sports. The Olympic village Banyoles (38 km) is known for its museums and pre-historical digs. but you can also walk around the lake of Banyoles. one of the largest lakes in Spain.

Cerca de Torroella, L’Estartit fue un barrio de pescadores hasta el siglo xix. Hoy es un popular destino de vacaciones con un activo puerto deportivo.
Los siete islotes conocidos como islas Medes son una importante reserva ecológica y un destino muy deseado por los buzos. Hay barcos con fondo de cristal que realizan la ruta a las Medes, donde existe una reserva protegida de coral.
Al norte de L’Estartit, allá donde el macizo del Montgrí llega al mar, se encuentran los acantilados más elevados de Cataluña (100 m de altura), con túneles navegables, como el de la Foradada. Únicamente se puede acceder allí desde el mar y a pie, por rutas de senderismo.
Y al sur, en las desembocaduras de los ríos Ter y Daró, hay excelentes rutas para caminar por lagunas saladas y dunas móviles.
