Al sud de Palamós, Sant Antoni de Calonge és avui un gran centre turístic i, ja a l’interior, el poble de Calonge té un interessant castell medieval.
De Palamós cap al sud, hi ha un camí de ronda que porta per llocs emblemàtics (com la platja de la Torre Valentina) fins a Platja d’Aro, població que, al llarg dels més de 2 quilòmetres de platja, concentra una verdadera ciutat al servei del lleure.
