La situación era perfecta, parking a escasos metros del hotel, a 5 minutos teníamos el paseo marítimo y a la vuelta del hotel cosas para ver reseñadas en el folleto que nos dieron en la oficina de turismo situada en frente del hotel. Básicamente sólo dormíamos y desayunábamos allí así que para mi estancia de 2 noches, todo bien. La puerta de la habitacion..muy accesible.Nada segura. |

I know this hotel - it's close to the bus station and most amenities which I need. I prefer that to the beach area. It's a clean hotel, a perfectly adequate 2* hotel, with a bar and a breakfast room. The breakfasts have improved! (they've been awful on past visits) - but don't try the dry, crumbly sliced white bread even for toasting, wait for them to refill with chopped fresh baguettes and hurry to claim one. There's baked beans and bacon and sometimes tortilla and unlimited coffee and juice. The receptionist and barkeep are friendly and helpful. Rooms are OK - modern, large, etc. It's all pretty soulless. There's one receptionist, one cleaner, one barkeep and sometimes the latter is the former, etc. The bar opens only till 9pm, and one can get a little bit of bar food - patatas bravas, sausage etc, but that's about it. Breakfast has improved since last I visited, but the baked beans and bacon are still freezing cold and congealed (bacon is best!) and bread pretty scarce. Use the microwave to reheat the cooled food - it helps! The coffee is from a machine, and I wouldn't bother with it. The juice (from another machine is good) and not diluted, but _hot_ milk? No. Sometimes there is a little fruit (apple, tinned fruit salad) but it's unpredictable. Breakfast is tending to the sad side, in other words, but one can take it outside to the (empty) swimming pool! The room was clean and large but there's no balcony (I didn't see any in other rooms). Somehow it made me feel cold and alone! More warm touches would make this asceptic hotel much better. |

Un bon rapport qualité-prix, un personnel toujours présent et souriant, attentionné lors du petit-déjeuner. Situé dans un village (Tossa) qui vaut le détour. Le linge de toilette est changé quotidiennement et les chambres faites tous les jours. Easy to find location right next to the Tossa bus station. Nice clean hotel. The mattress was terrible (I'm sorry) I have never slept on such a squeeky and uncomfortable bed !! The cooked breakfast was very poor, looks like it's been sitting there for days ( I stayed three days so this was not an isolated opinion) the coffee from the machine is revolting, and the orange juice from the machine is equally foul tasting. Best to stick with the cereals, toast and croissants (which were nice) and purchase seperatrly a decent coffee from the hotel bar/cafe .. |

We picked the Hotel Turissa because it is just 2 minutes from the Bus Station which made it easy with suitcases,& Tourist Info.office next to the bus station. Pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of all of the staff, spotlessly clean & linen/towels changed daily.Room 306 had a balcony with sun after 5pm with a good view (not seaview) lovely to sit out there after a day out. Breakfast could be taken outside in the sun & had a vast choice of hot and cold foods,cereals,cakes,fruit.Drink machines,microwave.Internet & TV/DVD.Swimming pool & sun loungers. Flat screen tv in the rooms, en-suite shower/washbasin/toilet. Definitely prefer this smaller hotel with 27 rooms to the bigger hotels. The beach is only a short distance away through quaint and interesting streets.Direct bus to centre of Barcelona in 1 hour 20 mins and Gerona. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone without children. Quiet and relaxing hotel, with a cafe/bar. 2 happy holidymakers Yvonne & Terry from Hockley, Essex. There was nothing that we didn't like. An evening meal would have been a bonus, but there are so many cafes and good restaurants nearby. |
