Hotel con encanto que te traslada a otra época, personal excelente, así como instalaciones, entorno y restaurante. La habitación "Jaume I" espectacular, merece la pena coger habitaciones superiores en este tipo de alojamiento. Lugar perfecto para desconectar en pareja. Muy recomendable escoger la opción con "media pensión", el restaurante es exquisito. Necesita una pequeña reforma para solucionar aspectos menores, nada del otro mundo, un enchufe que no funcionaba y algún desconchón las baldosas del baño. |

Wonderful converted monastery full of charm and character! We had a room with corner aspect and 2 windows and the view was amazing. Took lots of fantastic sunrise and sunset photos. Staff were excellent and so helpful. Our evening meal was included in the price but didn't expect that this would be 'A la carte'! Delicious food, compliments to the chef! Due to the warm November night we had our windows open and unfortunately were woken up at 02.30 hours by someone recycling his bottles in the bottle bank! It seemed to be right beneath our window but I presume is on the road next to the hotel! But don't let that put you off staying in this hotel! Just shut the windows! |

La recepcionista de día nos atendió maravillosamente bien. No es que las habitaciones no estén insonorizadas, es que resuena cualquier ruido de la planta. Hubo una boda de noche el día que nos alojamos y a las 4 de la madrugada, cuando terminó, tanto los invitados que se iban como los que subían a las habitaciones armaron un jaleo que era imposible dormir y ningún empleado del hotel lo impidió. |

El baño era antiguo, muy rústico y no acababa de agradarme. La habitación tenía mucho potencial con una sala anexa con diván y escritorio antiguo, pero la iluminación era tan pobre y los muebles tan grandes que realmente daba miedo pasar la noche allí. Era triste a mi entender, aunque a mucha otra gente le parecerá alucinante. Las toallas eran baratas, viejas y llenas de hilos sueltos. La colcha de la cama había vivido tiempos mejores, hace 20 años. El restaurante era sólo correcto, nada de lo que llamar la atención. La piscina no vale la pena ni mencionarla. El hotel dispone de servicio gratuito de café y té en una de las salas comunes, desafortunadamente cada vez que pasábamos por ahí, seguían las mismas tazas sucias de por la mañana. Carecía de atención a detalles. No es un hotel de 4*. No está bien aprovechado aunque tiene gran potencial. |

Historic aspect of the manor house. to be sleeping in a 12th century building is a real experience. Very well presented and the staff were most helpful. A walking tour through the old town adjacent to the castle/house is well worth while. Found a weavers shop doing very artistic things as well. Nearby is a 12th century castle as well which was worth the hike. Minor things-loose floor tiles and a venting problem in the bathroom which was solved by leaving the sink full- keeping odors covered. |

The building has Character and is fascinating and photogenic from all angles. If you wish to get away from the corporate American "Have a nice day" which appears to be the norm throughout the world today. This is the place for you. Everything is none standard which befits the style of building. Truly a one off. 1) There was no Lift. 2) The WFI connection worked only at times. Despite informing the reception 3/4 times a day during my entire visit there it was never fixed. A variety of reasons were given:- A. The connection does not work on the second floor, and still did not work even in the lounge area some 20 feet from the reception desk. B. If the WFI is rebooted it will be OK (Never worked) The need for a Laptop connection was essential for my stay, otherwise I would have never booked to stay there. Assurances were given that it would be fixed. But in true Spanish tradition nothing happened during my entire visit. If I was made aware nothing will be done I would have checked out, and found alternative accommodation regarding my situation. |
