Everything. A wonderful historic place with the , but Mas Masaller offered it, attention to little and big details, heating the room and bathroom before arrival, a fire going in the cozy reading room, fantastic dinner and breakfast ... Oh the cheese!!!!, we loved the place.

Could not think about anything there

La casa rural decorada con muy buen gusto. Excelente el desayuno y la atención de los dueños. Las vistas son preciosas. Mucha tranquilidad y paz en el lugar.

Poca iluminación en la habitación. La cama chica y muy ruidosa, no te podías mover del ruido que hacía. La ducha super incómoda y chica.

Die ländliche Lage, Ruhe und das spécielle Ambiente des alten, renovierten Hauses. Das Essen war super und reichlich. Nette Besitzer und Kontakt mit den anderen Gästen. Schöne Gegend zum Wandern, Velofahren usw.

Die Zufahrt ist für ein schönes Auto nicht geeignet, da ungepflegter Landwirtschaftsweg. Freilaufende, unangenehme Hunde gehören zum Inventar.

Warm friendly welcome from Marta and Joan. Family atmosphere because of the presence of their two young daughters - lively but not intrusive. We did not have an evening meal there but the choice offered looked most inviting and we will definitely do so next time. The breakfast was most sumptuous - a varied choice of home-made fruit salad, an incredible selection of local charcuterie, cheeses and bread rolls, all fresh and bursting with flavour. The features of the main farm house dating from the 1600s had been faithfully retained, furnished to assure maximum comfort and redecorated with exquisite taste. All the rooms had high ceilings and beautiful old ceramic floors. It was a delight to be able to turn the radiators off if we wished and open the tall windows and old wooden shutters for some fresh air. And what a pleasure to see wide sunlit skies from our window and to hear just the sound of birds and a barking dog or two! I had been partly attracted to the Mas because it was said to have dated from the XIIIth. I am English but have lived in a small village in Pyrenees Orientales for a number of years where many of the local churches also date from this period. I found both Marta and Joan exceedingly helpful and obliging. They welcomed my interest and Joan even took time to show us the basement cave which had many of the vaulted ceilings and other features which were so familar to me. We loved the quiet rural surroundings, especially the idyllic scene which greeted us when we arrived. A flock of sheep were heading to the farm next door followed by a troupe of slim ducks, whilst their shepherd and his dog watched them most nonchantly.

The rather rough track leading to the Mas which in wet periods must get a bit muddy. But this only enhanced our pleasure when we arrived there - to see the sheep and ducks and the beautiful old building.

La atención es impecable. La casa es hermosa y remodelada con excelente gusto. Todos los ambientes con calefacción. El desayuno es impresionante. La cama super cómoda. Totalmente recomendable. Volveremos seguro.

La amabilidad de los dueños, el excelente trato familiar, la ubicación de la casa, el desayuno buffet, la amplitud de la habitación, la limpieza, la impecable decoración.

La reserva era para dos noches y no reembolsable, Al día siguiente de llegar recibimos la noticia de un problema importante de salud de mi padre y comunicamos al dueño que nos teníamos que marchar. Entregué mi tarjeta de credito para que cobrara las dos noches y nos indicó que solo cobraría una por el motivo forzado de la marcha. Insistimos en que cobrara dos ya que el problema era nuestro y no quiso de ninguna manera,así que nos cobró solo una.Se lo agradecimos y prometimos volver ya que nos gustó mucho la casa y el trato. Ahora he recibido el cargo de dos noches y solo quiero saber si la segunda noche la cobró Booking o el propietario. No es una queja, es una consulta que me interesa mucho aclarar. Muchas gracias

... Pues eso... Mas Maseller hace falso el dicho de "como en casa, en ninguna parte" . Nos han tratado de maravilla y nuestros hijos han disfrutado de verdad, tanto lo han hecho que quedándonos dos días para irnos, ya estaban pidiendo regresar... Y sin duda lo haremos!!! Casa cálida en invierno y habitaciones amplias. Cenas deliciosas y para los amantes del comer mucha cantidad, quedaran más que encantados. Recomendable al 200 %

Hemos estado muy a gusto. El trato con ellos, impecable. Muy familiar, sin pretensiones, acogedores, la comida buenísima y todo cuidado hasta el mínimo detalle

Difficult to find and bad access road. Nothing to do there and surprisingly very noisy because the owner's baby was crying very often. We never go again. For us it was a waste of time and money.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Mas Masaller. The hosts Marta and Joan and their three adorable daughters are friendly and warm and make you feel welcome in their home. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of local cheese and meat.

The proprietors are excellent and speak very good English. Nothing was too much trouble for them

The facilities are very basic but this place is an old farmhouse so everything is relevant. If you want a plush hotel this is not the place but if you want a homely country break then this fits the bill.

Mas Masaller is best ingewikkeld te vinden maar de moeite wordt rijkelijk beloond met een geweldige plek, schitterende kamers, een copieus ontbijt en een heerlijk diner. De eigenaren doen echt alles om het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Wij komen zeker terug.

Mas Masaller is definitely a nice place to stay and relax. The setting is beautiful and it's a real pleasure to spend some time by the pool and enjoy the quietness of the countryside.

Unfortunately, the hotel didn't leave us a good impression and we are not thinking of coming back. The owners are a couple and even though the wife is nice, the husband is extremely unwelcoming. When we first arrived, he seemed pissed that we were disturbing him and didn't even show us around. He just gave us the keys, mumbled, and then left as quickly as possible. He also seemed very pissed every time we asked him a question regarding Girona and things to do around. After a few days, we were just afraid to ask anything. When we finally dared asking something, it was for them to turn the heater on as the room was extremely cold. However, they said it was too soon to turn it up so they gave my boyfriend and I a blanket, which was clearly not enough to warm us up. We spent the night freezing, not managing to sleep. If you are thinking of bringing a baby along to Mas Masaller, don't! unless you want him to be sick. These two things were the worst but I could also mention the bathrooms which are too small, or the bed that's quite small as well (which doesn't make sense when the room is so big).

We rented a room for three adults, and we were so happy about our choice to stay here. The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating to our needs. They had really considered so many details for their clients. Don't miss the dinner with other guests! It was a great meal with lovely conversation. Mas Masaller was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the countryside.

La ubicación es fantástica. El personal de la casa muy agradable y sin duda repetiremos. Si no os entra desayuno recomendamos pagarlo, sobre todo por el embutido y las mermeladas.

El Joan i la Marta, encantadors, et fan sentir com a casa. Les habitacions impecables, bany, llençols..., restaurades amb molt bon gust. Els àpats, casolans i de qualitat, sobre tot l´esmorzar.

Accueil très chaleureux. Bon confort. Très belle décoration, rien n'est laissé au hasard. Gentillesse de toute la famille. Excellent petit déjeuner, bons repas préparés avec soin. Conviviabilité assurée. Piscine très bien équipée, environnement génial !!! Mas très bien restauré et entretenu par cette famille accueillante.
