What made our stay at Galena was the owner Miguel and his warm and very professional staff. Miguel was very warm and friendly and made us feel totally at home. He gave us many tips on where to go and what to do. The rooms are not luxurious or ott, rather they are modern, comfortable and fit the aesthetic of the farm house. The restaurant menu is very large and pretty much everything we had was excellent. Galena is not in the town (but is a very quick 7 min walk) but to me that's a small trade off to stay in a farmhouse with the warmest innkeeper ever.... Galena is a very special place and we'll definitely be back the next time we are in Begur. In fact we might just go back to Begur just to stay at Galena :) Oh and i can't leave out this very important fact - we had the best suckling pig there ever!!!! - mattress could be updated - swinging door in restaurant makes a distracting sound |

Durch die Lage des Hotels, etwas außerhalb des Ortszentrums, ist es angenehm ruhig. Die Zimmer liegen nach hinten mit einem wunderschönen Blick in das Hinterland. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und gab uns gute Informationen für eine Tour. Die Matratzen waren etwas zu hart. In dem schönen Bad fehlte es an Ablagemöglichkeiten und Stellflächen. In der ersten Nacht hatten wir eine Ameiseninvasion im Bett. Wenn uns der nette Besitzer nicht so nett sofortige Abhilfe versprochen hätte, wären wir ausgezogen. Die Abhilfe hat zum Glück funktioniert. |
