Location, restaurant staff and breakfast.

Our room was very noisy so we asked the staff to change the room, but they changed it for a noisier one! As we were staying for 5 nights, we asked to change the room again and a member of the staff joined us to the room to verify the noise (she said she didn't hear anything, when we were over the kitchen extractor and the balcony fence was trembling). It seemed that the more we complained about the room the worst service we had! The third day, after being given a room without noise, we arrived late at night and the room hadn't been cleaned!!!! The fourth day, we towels had spots like if they weren't clean enough,so they changed them. In summary, a very expensive hotel, with a careless staff, and a very poor customer service. We don't recommend it at all.

Les instal·laciones, vam estar en una suite magnífica. Anàvem tres adults, i va ser molt agradable no molestar-nos, gràcies a l'espai de l'habitació. L'esmorzar, fantàstic, generós, amb un personal atent i agradable. La situació, tot i que aparentment està a prop del centre, és recomanable. L'amabilitat del seu personal, l'atenció per complaure'ns és d'agrair. El solarium, relaxant, amb un ambient familiar on es respecta el silenci de la resta.

No vam trobar cap element que molest.

je suis arrivé le 7 avril aprés un périple d'une journée et trés fatiguée, la chambre qui m'a été attribuée était remplie de fumée de tabac et d"une odeur infecte, j'étais épuisée et je me suis endormie quand même malgré le bruit, je me suis réveillée trés malade et mon séjour a été horrible, bruits toute la nuit, personnel à l'accueil non aimable, je voulais rentrer chez moi et changer billet d'avion etcs, internet ne fonctionnait pas!! j'ai du rester la bas jusqu'au 13 avril, c'est un endroit horrible que je déconseille, jamais je n'y retournerai pour tout l'or du monde, personnel de l'accueil méprisant et le mec le dernier jour ne voulait pas me donner ma valise qu'il gardait, j'ai failli rater mon car, avion, je conseille l'hotel Costa Brava sur Tossa.Comme je fais enquête/mystère je vais pas les louper ds mon rapport

La situation geographique tres centrale a seulement 2 min a pied de la plage, la chambre tres moderne et propre, le personnel tres acueillant, la possibilute de garer la voiture dans la rue tres pres de l'hotel et gratuit, le wi-fi excellent, le petit dejeuner, la terrase. On a meme prolonger notre sejour avec encore 2 nuits. Absolutement parfait!

The shower was very good and temperature regulation was great (this is sometimes a weak point in many hotels). The view from our room was to an interior patio with trees, which was nice. The breakfast has a good selection and food was quite fresh.

Several aspects were disappointing from the very start. The dinner buffet was overpriced for the quality of the food offered; a steak I had was chewy and so was the bread. The hotel garage (about 300 m away) did not have space so we had to keep the car in a public garage (20 EUR/day, not expensive but still double the hotel price). Room airco didn't work and we spent most of night overheated. Moreover, we asked for a baby cot at the time of booking, arrived at hotel at 19.00 and no cot was there - had to remind them. Overall, poor value for money for a hotel located in the center of the town of Tossa de Mar. Note: Booking.com advertises babysitting facilities in hotel; when we asked about this upon arrival, they didn't know about it. Next morning, they said that they can call a babysitter if needed... I find this somehow misleading advertising by Booking.com.

Zentrale Lage, freundliches immer hilfsbereites Personal, gut ausgestattete , saubere Zimmer mit Balkon, ausgezeichnetes vielseitiges Sekt- Frühstück das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis . Auch das angebotene Abend-Buffet ist für 16 € aüßerst vielseitig und sehr zu empfehlen. ( die Hauptspeisen Fisch oder Fleisch werden nach persönlichen Wünschen vom Küchenchef direkt am Büffet frisch zubereitet). Tossa ist abseits des Trubels von Lorret ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder Ausflüge per Auto entlang der Küste oder ins Hinterland

Alles Perfect,in seiner Preisklasse eines der besten an der Mittelmeerküste. Wir nächtigten eine Woche lang jeden Tag in einem anderen Hotel, dies war das Beste. Lage ausgezeichnet , Frühstück weit über dem Durchschnitt. Kleines Manko keine Parkmöglichkeit in der Nähe.

What a hotel if stayed in lots hotels but this was the best especially the staff couldn't do enough for us gave the girl my email address as we want to return in May and October again if the price is right

Booking.com pictures of a triple room did not match what we got. Picture showed double bed next to twin bed. We got a double bed with a small cot. For older children families, better to get two rooms. This is not the hotel's fault.

Friendly staff throughout. Sufficiently spacious and well appointed room and bathroom facilities. The dining room offered freshly cooked food as well as a hot and cold range of food for their buffet. This applied for both breakfast and evening meal. At 15 euros per head the full buffet was available for dinner as well as a choice of freshly and expertly cooked choices of several types of fish and meat. Not to be missed! The hotel was centrally placed in Tossa for both access to the beach and seafront and yet the countryside was easily available by car.

There was a lack of lounge areas for a 4 star hotel.ie Nowhere to relax with a drink after a meal or returning from a day out, except for their attached cafetaria which was a bit grim inside as were the few tables outside on a narrow pavement. If they put a cafe terrace outside at the back above the kitchen the problem would be solved. They do have a fairly spacious roof top spa/jacuzzi area for guests only but this is not staffed and its surrounding fence prevents views of the town. Also the air-conditioning was rather noisy and needs upgrading to newer, quieter models.

The hotel was fine but next to a very noisy nightclub which basically made sleep impossible until after 6am - don't stay here if you actually want to sleep!

Good location just beside the seaside yet close to the city centre. The buffet supper (cost 15 Eur) is really worth paying: different kinds of meat, seafood, salads, desserts, and the chief who makes it all unforgettable. Can't but pay attention to professional and friendly staff, especially waitress. Also, the exterior of the hotel in fact different from those on the same street and surrounding ones: fresh and fancy, in comparison with others.

Nothing to mention. We were to much satisfied by environment and the hotel to notice some negative issues.

High quality hotel in a good location. Rooms were great and big balcony. Modern facilities and roof top terrace.

The reception staff were nice but I found the restaurant and breakfast room staff bordering on aggressive. For example when I entered or left the restaurant they made no attempt to make me feel welcome. On one occasion when i paid for dinner there was no thank you or goodbye despite a tip. The chef was very nice and professional, I know this is a bit drawn out but the restaurant staff urgently need customer service training because this is a great hotel let down by a couple of waitresses who make you feel unwelcome.

Location of hotel was very good. Close to main streets, shops & beach. The standard of the room was very high and well maintained. The room was on the back of the hotel which caught sun in the morning.

Balcony was a little small but as a solo traveller not a big problem. Quality of coffee for breakfast was poor.

Very convenient for beach, the old town and the bus station (we arrived by bus from Barcelona) Very clean and comfortable with an excellent buffet breakfast. Hot tub on the roof is a real treat.

Terrace is overlooking the road and if you are on the first floor there is little privacy from passers by.

Breakfast choices limited and breakfast restricted to a two hour slot so we had to miss it completely on the day we left. We had a suite and as we were paying over 100 euros per night, would have expected the view to have been better and not overlooking rundown roof tops. Also very noisy. Dirty footprints on the floor of the suite when we arrived - cleaning issues. No tea or coffee making facilities in the suite, no paper or pen in the suite, no fresh fruit as promised when booking.

A first class hotel with all modern facilities in the centre of Tossa de Mar. The staff were excellent the place very clean and the rooms were great with all modern expectations. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Everything in general was good. We are very satisfied with the hotel and the provided services. Definitly the relation quality / price is the most highlighted point in here.

The hotel was perfect for our needs; a comfy, clean, well located hotel as a base for our holiday. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean (including the bathrooms! The showers were fantastic too!). Breakfast was fantastic with a huge range of choice. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Friendliness, how clean the hotel was

Evening meals were a little late, starting at 8pm. The food was often cold in temperature and no hot plates. The meal choices were a little repetitative.

The staff were very helpful.

The noise from the street at night. Visited during the Easter bank holiday, the people that stayed in the next room came back at 6am and were very loud.
