Mas Coquells is gevestigd in een rustig gelegen, 12de-eeuws landhuis met een mooie tuin en 3 terrassen. Het pand wordt omringd door olijfbomen. Het pand biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de Costa Brava.
Het buitenzwembad is ingebouwd in de zijkant van een middeleeuws bijgebouw en werd vroeger gebruikt voor het wassen van kleren. Tegenwoordig is het een charmant zwembad met ligstoelen.
Elke kamer van Mas Coquells is individueel ingericht. De kamers hebben gratis WiFi en een eigen badkamer met toiletartikelen.
Mas Coquells serveert creatieve gerechten en verkoopt een scala aan verse producten, waaronder virgine olijfolie, honing en eieren. U kunt in de gemeenschappelijke tv-kamer ontspannen bij de open haard. Daarnaast kunt u genieten van georganiseerde wandelingen, paardrijtochten of astronomienachten. Mas Coquells organiseert ook huwelijksfeesten.
Het pand bevindt zich op slechts 6 km van het AVE-treinstation Figueres-Vilafant. Er is gratis parkeergelegenheid op eigen terrein. In 25 minuten rijdt u naar de Costa Brava en in 45 minuten rijden bent u bij de luchthaven van Girona. De luchthaven van Perpignan is op 50 km afstand gevestigd.

De Japanse kokkin Toschiko kookte de sterren van de hemel. De stilte s nachts. Het "rural"gevoel. Por decir algo las escaleras para subir a la hab. tienes que tener un poco de cuidado pq son como las originales de la masia, pero incluso esto tenia su encanto!! |

Prachtige en rustige omgeving. zeer mooie mas, heel nieuw en prachtige combinatie van authentieke en moderne architectuur. Zeer open en vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastheer en -vrouw. De kamer was vrij warm om te slapen. Toilet bleef doorlopen en WIFI was nog niet beschikbaar op kamer. |

La comida, desayuno, el trato familiar que recibes. Solo hay 5 hab por lo tanto no hay aglomeraciones, ni ruidos... Para relajarse dando paseitos, leer un libro o hacer rutas por la costa brava o por el interior de l'empordà. Por decir algo las escaleras para subir a la hab. tienes que tener un poco de cuidado pq son como las originales de la masia, pero incluso esto tenia su encanto!! |

Las fotos. La entrada es por un largo camino de tierra que hace incómodo el ir y venir. La piscina está bastante retirada del edificio principal, las habitaciones son escuetas por el alto precio de la estancia y las zonas comunes ni cómodas ni invitadoras. |

the beautifull land The décoration of the room was not as the description. the swiming pool at 10 minutes of the hotel and food not extraordinary for the price 40 euros/for the dinner. the shower not clean. |

Charming rural guest house style hotel. Very old refurbished rural house means doors are small (tall people beware!) and stairs are steep. Beds are very comfortable. Fede, the person in charge is very friendly and half-board is definetely recommended: the food is prepared by nearby gourmet restaurants and is excellent! Ask him for restaurant recommendations: there are some gastronomic diamonds in the tiny little villages nearby! The environment is truly rural: great views, nice little forest areas and we even saw deers! If you are looking for a peaceful place, this is it. A little bit pricey (not for budget travellers) but worth the extra buck for the super peaceful environment and the nice food. The swimming pool is a 10 minute walk and is quite small (two couples there and it feels crowded already) although it is VERY charming and original! The place needs more shaded areas in summer (I think they are working on it) - it must be OK in autumn/winter/spring. The acoustic insulation between rooms is insuficient: you can hear almost anything going on next door. |

Nos encantó la casa. Únicamente 5 habitaciones. Muy tranquila, decorada con mucho gusto. El trato personal de las personas que llevan la casa, excelente. Cogimos la media pensión y comimos allí, valió la pena. Por decir algo las escaleras para subir a la hab. tienes que tener un poco de cuidado pq son como las originales de la masia, pero incluso esto tenia su encanto!! |

Los detalles de la casa que le dan valor añadido: hay libros, revistas, música para escuchar, etc. Quizá le falta un par de detalles importantes sobre los servicios que ofrecen. Estaría bien tener un tríptico con los servicios de restaurante japonés y picnic donde hubiera una descripción de lo que incluyen esos servicios y también su coste. |
