La maison d'hôtes à la gestion familiale Alba propose des chambres simples et climatisées avec télévision et salle de bains privative. La plage Tossa de Mar, avec ses boutiques et ses bars, est à environ 350 mètres de l'établissement.
L'Hostal Alba dispose d'un hotspot Wi-Fi gratuit : un mot de passe doit être demandé à la réception. Il possède également un service de location de vélos et de voitures, et peut fournir des informations sur la région. La plupart des chambres sont munies d'un balcon privé. L'établissement ne possède pas d'ascenseur.
L'établissement dispose d'un bar, et sert le petit-déjeuner. Des panier-repas peuvent être fournis sur demande.
Le château et la vieille ville de Tossa de Mar se trouvent à environ 10 minutes à pied. Le nouveau centre-ville se trouve à moins de 2 minutes à pied.
Hostal Alba se trouve Tossa de Mar
Imaginez un endroit où voyager dans le temps et se transporter à travers les âges. Tossa est un peu comme un musée à ciel ouvert. Ses restes préhistoriques laissent espace à la Turissa romaine, la Tursa médiévale et la Tossa moderne, devenue le point d'intersection d'artistes et d'intellectuels, puis la charmante hôtesse de tous genres de touristes et de visiteurs.
Abrégé Tossa, Tossa de Mar est un de ces typiques villages de Costa Brava où la forêt de pins arrive jusqu'à la mer. L'économie principal du village était principalement le liège (comme beacoup d'autres villages dans Costa Brava) est le vin. Mais le tournage du film Pandora (protagonisé par Ava Gardner), le 1950, parallel a l'éclosion touristique de toute la Costa Brava, a rendu ce belle emplacement connue dans le monde entier. C'est pourquoi le turisme è devenu aujourd'hui la principale ressource pour ceux qui habitent ici.
Les origines de Tossa sont pré-romains (Turissa) et sa situation géographique exceptionnelle, entre Lloret de Mar(sud) et Sant Feliu de Guíxols (nord). Pour y arriver il faut prendre la GI-682 depuis un de ces deux villages.Les vues qui offre ce route sont extraordinaires, il faut s'arrêter dans quelqu'un des points signalé comme vues panoramiques pour photographies les perspectives des calanques qu'on obtient de là. C'est par ce route comme peut accéder a des criques très belles celles de Cala Giverola, Platja del Senyor Raimon, Cala de Vallpresona, Cala Rosana...
De l’époque romaine, en plus d’autres villas de moindre importance, il nous est resté la villa romaine Els Ametllers, située à l’Av. del Pelegrí, 5 – 13. Le docteur Ignasi Melé a découvert cette villa des Ametllers (1ère siècle av. J.-C. - 6ème siècle ap. J.-C.) en 1914. Elle est donc l'une des plus importantes villas de l'ancienne province de Tarraco. Elle se dévoue particulièrement à la culture de la vigne et à l'exportation de vin de consommation courante. Elle est donc un exemple classique de l'exploitation agricole dans le bassin méditerranéen roman. En matière architectonique elle se compose de deux parties bien différentes: la pars urbana (partie urbaine) et la pars fructuaria (partie rurale). Sa situation sur le versant oriental de la colline de Can Magí, orientée vers la mer avec une claire vue sur la baie, a influencé la distribution du bâtiment.
Mais dans le centre du village la visite à les murailles d'enceinte est inexcusable.Classés comme monument historique et artistique national, ces murs represéntent aujourd'hui le seul exemple de cité médiévale fortifiée sur la côte de la Catalogne. Elles sont compris de quatre donjons et trois tours (d'en Joanàs, des Heures et es Codolar).
On recommande notamment déambuler dans les ruelles de l’intérieur de l’enceinte médiévale et monter jusqu’au Phare de Tossa, d’où vous aurez l’occasion de jouir du magnifique paysage de notre côte. Dehors des murailles, délimité par les rues Portal et Estolt, vous trouverez le quartier de Sa Roqueta, un traditionnel quartier de pêcheurs, résultat de la première étape d’expansion du village au siècle XVI. Plus loin, si vous suivez la rue Portal, vous arriverez à la zone commerciale du centre ville qui se situe dans les rues Socors et La Guàrdia, Place d’Espagne, et rue Pou de la Vila jusqu’à l’Avenue Costa Brava, celle-ci déjà située dans une zone de construction beaucoup plus récente.
La promenade tout au long de la façade maritime, depuis les murailles jusqu’à la plage de Mar Menuda, est aussi très agréable. Ce parcours vous permettra jouir de la mer et des spectaculaires vues du Cap de Tossa avec les murailles
Le phare de Tossa (1917), situé sur la partie plus élevée de la Vila Vella, est devenu un centre d'interprétation des phares de notre littoral. Cet équipement innovateur, dans le domaine muséologique, est une pièce de référence pour tous ceux qui s'intéressent à une large vision du monde des signaux maritimes. C'est un centre audiovisuel, donc intelligible pour tous, n’importe soit la langue que l’on parle. Le raisonnement nous amène plus près de l'histoire et la technologie du monde des phares, et de la vie de leur gardien. L'espace dédié au musée, offre l'occasion de contempler diverses pièces de ce patrimoine maritime.
Le musée municipal, aménagé dans le Palau del Batlle, témoigne du passage à Tossa de peintres tels que Marc Chagall, André Masson, Joaquim Sunyer, qui tous ont été captivés par ce paysage.
Tossa possède de belles plages (Llorell, Morisca) et l’un des plus beaux endroits de la côte catalane : la route qui va jusqu’à Sant Feliu de Guíxols (25 km de tournants) en passant par les calanques de Salions, Futadera, Giverola et Pola.

10 лет уже езжу в Тоссу, жил почти во всех крупных отелях включая Реймар 4*. решил попробовать и такой бюджетный способ. Понравилось ) хорошо работает интернет, второй ключ для входной двери в отель на ночь. В общем все прихоти за ваши деньги ) Для такого бюджета в Тоссе - прекрасно. Скудноватый очень простой завтрак, но мне хватало. Соседи на улице разговаривают оглушительно громко, но если честно так все испанцы повседневно говорят, у меня и в других отелях так же. |

The breakfast was simple but generous and complete. In the end, we had a very good stay and found our expense well valued. Отель находится недалеко от автобусной станции. Город небольшой, так что всё в шаговой доступности. Чисто, интернет работает. Нормальный кондиционер. Комнаты на разных этажах разной планировки. Завтрак скромный, но наесться можно: разные мюсли-хлопья, йогурт, из хлеба/колбасы/сыра/джема/масла можно сделать тосты. Кофе, чай, молоко. Иногда бывают фрукты и ягоды. На дверях висит предупреждение для постояльцев, чтобы не шумели после 11 вечера, так что было довольно тихо. Доброжелательные хозяева. Можно оставить багаж в отеле, если вылет поздний, но ящиков для хранения нет. Нету лифта, но это не проблема если живешь не на последнем этаже и багаж небольшой. Было бы здорово, если бы на завтраке была яичница. |

We loved the place because it wasn't far away from the bus station neither from the beach by walk. Also, the staff were amazing, very kind and helpful. It is a clean and comfortable hotel, worths every pens. The next time when we go back to Tossa will will definitely stay there. I can only recommend it. Extremely expensive for what it is. The hostal is located in an excellent area, within short walking distance to the Castle, the beach and the 'center'. The room we got was quite large, very comfortable and really clean. We were quite surprised. Definitetly recommend. The shower curtain was too close to the toilet, it was a little annoying. But this is a minor inconvenience. |

The hotel was comfortable and very clean which was a surprise for the price. The breakfast was adequate and the location was really close to the bus station and the center of town. The owners seem to be a family which made us feel comfortable. The bathroom door is a bit flimsy so there isn´t much privacy. Because the place is owned by a family, they close for big events which is fine, but we weren´t informed that they would be closing on Sunday afternoon so we had to drag our suitcases around town after 3 until 7pm because that was when we had our bus back to Barcelona. Wasn´t the worst situation, just wish we had packed less! |

Convenient situation near bus station, taxi rank and main strip (it's a small town! I can walk to the beach if I want to, and I prefer to be near to transport). Really nice outside balcony on room, which I was not expecting. Room itself small but clean. Wifi worked well. Tv worked,. A/C+heating worked. Gave keys to get in and out 24h. Clean sheets and towels every day, and room cleaned. Nice smart stonework everywhere. Proprietors pleasant, present, and efficient. Musty drains smell in corridors and room until aired. Plastic "door" to shower/bath cubicle (which was decent). No soap provided (town standard). Breakfast pretty dismal display of Bimbo bread slices, ham and cheese slices, plastic-wrapped "croissants" etc. and not worth the e4 (try a cafe for better value for money and miles more fun) and they don't tell you it's extra. Room is small - thank goodness for the balcony! There's just nothing to recommend it even though it's inoffensive - I wouldn't want to stay again since there are nicer places in town for the same price or even better, if one knows what they are, but it's certainly on the upper scale of bearable and I likely would consider it if I have to go again at the same time of year. It's just _still_ expensive at e24 + breakfast when one considers that the nicer hotel across the road costs the same (or even half that off-season) but has bar, restaurant, etc, and even in a big uk city one can get a big chain's business hotel room at 5 times the size for the same money. I doubt there were more than 3 rooms occupied in the whole place at that time of year and they might have doubled that by halving the price! The real positive would have been the decent balcony, but for the fact that I didn't need it this time round! I needed the heater, which worked, but it's one of those that makes such a racket one can't keep it on. I didn't see a way of locking the balcony door, which had me worried. The room door to the corridor is standard modern thin issue, but there was nobody else around. Essentially this is a good smart clean place with a nice balcony and uninspiring bare (clean) tiny room with a shower/washbasin/toilet cubicle. If I were to offer advice on improvement, I'd say pay for decent wood room doors and some wrought- iron decoration on the walls .. some kind of style, anyway! |
