Great atmosphere!! It happened to be the mojito party day, so we enjoyed the patio with lots of people. Clean rooms with the basics. The staff was very friendly ;)

We could hear some noise from the street... the windows are not drunk people proof...

El hostal está renovado completamente y es muy acogedor. El ambiente es muy tranquilo, las habitaciones son excepcionales en relación calidad/precio, y está muy limpio. Igualmente, aunque no disponga de aire acondicionado, de secador o sólo haya dos enchufes en la habitación, encuentras detalles que te hacen sentirte muy a gusto: encontramos un ventilador en el armario junto a un ladrón para disponer de más enchufes y también nos ofrecieron secadores en recepción. Estando allí nos hemos sentido como en casa y la verdad, el año que viene repetiremos, sin duda.

Tossa de Mar è un luogo perfetto per una vacanza rilassante con la famiglia. Comunque vicina (una decoina di Km.) alla più caotica Lloret de Mar e un'ora da Barcellona. La città è molto pulita e confortevole, il mare splendido e l'acqua pulitissima. Ottimo posto anche per immersioni. Mangiare fuori è l'ideale (non prendete formule all inclusive): si mangia molto bene ovunque spendendo circa 10-12 euro a testa (se non esageri). Ogni sera abbiamo mangiato in un locale diverso, tutti carini e caratteristici. A pranzo un mega panino fatto al momento in un negozio di alimentari (euro 3.50 il più caro e ci mangiavamo in due tanto era grosso!). Abbiamo anche comprato della frutta da mangiare in spiaggia. La struttura (Horta Rosell) è molto semplice, in centro Tossa e a 10 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia e la camminata era sempre gradevole perché ogni volta prendevamo un percorso diverso. Il personale è veramente molto cordiale e sempre disponibile. Molto carino il Mojito party del giovedi con il mojito a 3 euro (anziché 5). Una nota sulla spiaggia: molto pulita e grandissima (è una spiaggia libera servizio noleggio ombrelloni e lettini molto economico) però non c'è sabbia ma una ghiaietta piccola che a camminarci scalzi è un po' dolorosa, idem per entrare e uscire dall'acqua (sempre pulitissima e ricca di pesci anche a riva). Il fondale degrada velocemente e dopo 4-5 metri già non si tocca. Sulla spiaggia ci sono due colonnine per farsi la doccia (acqua fredda ma gratis). Bagnino sempre presente ma forse uno solo è poco per una spiaggia così grande.

Riguardo la struttura devo dire che mi ha dato molto fastidio la rumorosità: le camere non sono minimamente insonorizzate e sentivamo tutte le voci provenienti dal corridoio, dal bar (eravamo al primo piano) e sopratutto le voci del giardino dove ogni sera la gente si fermava a bere ascoltando musica live. Molto carino il tutto, si, ma ad una certa ora, sopratutto chi ha bambini, vorrebbe addormentarsi tranquillo. Le camere sono veramente piccole, umili ed essenziali. Solo letti singoli, non matrimoniali. Il bagno nuovissimo e pulitissimo (non c'è il bidet). Il phon non c'è e va chiesto alla reception, se ne hanno disponibili te lo danno. Nell'armadio a muro, spazioso abbastanza ma con porte rumorose e cigolanti che se apri un'anta di notte svegli tutti. Dentro l'armadio una cassaforte che però costa 4 euro al giorno o 20 euro la settimana. Un confortevole balcone ma senza possibilità di stendere (abbiamo dovuto comprare le mollette ed un cavo per farci uno stenditoio sfruttando la ringhiera del balcone. La colazione era sempre la stessa ogni mattina con non molte scelte (tre o quattro tipi di brioches, toast, marmellatine confezinate, yogurt e succhi vari. Caffè e cappuccino) e comunque non cibi di elevatissima qualità, anche se gradevoli (la brioches del bar è un'altra cosa). Tutto sommato, valutando il costo contenuto e la centralità della struttura va benissimo per famiglie e ci siamo trovati tutto sommato bene. L'unica cosa fastidiosa era, ripeto, l'eccessiva rumorosità della camera, spesso enfatizzata da qualche famiglia rumorosa e non curante del rispetto altrui.

Prestations rudimentaires. Confort inexistant ; Coffre fort sans serrure, placard sans étagère, une applique sur deux fonctionnait, pas de chaise dans la chambre. Beaucoup de bruit dans le bar. Murs en papier (on entend tout)

Муравьи в номере. Под окнам. кафе с вечно галдящими людьми. Хорошая слышимость. В номере всё аскетично, нет фена, банных принадлежностей, даже мыла. На завтраках отдельно нужно спрашивать за стойкой кофе и даже молоко для мюслей.

economico rispetto altri alberghi della zona, per chi non ha pretese e lo sceglie solo per dormire va bene, arredamento spartano infatti dispone solo del letto, del bagno, armadio. Adatto per chi come noi lo ha usato solo il pernottamento e prima colazione.

Camera spaziosa ma molto spoglia. Balconcino con vista sul cortile-giardino. Buona pulizia. Colazione molto semplice ma sufficiente.

Los colchones. Sin aire acondicionado,ni televisor. No avisan de que no hay ascensor....3 pisos para una persona mayor con problemas de corazon y asma .....

Estuvimos una semana hospedados,la habitación recién reformada con mucho gusto pero sin grandes pretensiones. Aunque lo que mas nos gusto del hostal es la terraza que es preciosa y que se esta muy bien tomando mojitos y cañas. Aunque lo que mas hay que destacar es el personal del hostal, son todos encantadores, nos recomendaron y nos ayudaron siempre que lo necesitamos.

Unbequeme Betten(zwei Schaumstoffmatratzen aufeinander). Defekter Lattenrost. Keine Ac,bloss Ventilator den man mittels Verlängerungskabel irgendwie anschliessen muss und dauernd über das Kabel stolpert weil es nur eine Steckdose im Zimmer hat. Distanz zum Meer etliches länger als die angegebenen 400m. Grosser Strand wird von Touristenschiffen angefahren.Sand eher grobkörnig. Fleischmarkt¨! Es gibt aber noch einen kleinen Strand in einer Bucht-der ist beiweitem charmanter,jedoch nur für gute Schwimmer empfehlenswert. In den Sommermonaten ist Tossa komplett überlaufen.

Småskaligheten och den goda frukosten. Mycket trevligt var att hotellet hade en bar/cafe på bakgården där man intog sin frukost och kunde ta en drink el kaffe på kvällen. Verkade vara mycket spanjorer som uppskattade denna bar.

The staff was very good, first girl who we met on reception was very helpful and kind. We arrived 2-3 hours before the check-in time, she allowed us to leave our stuff and told us to wait a bit on the terrace and also gave free coffee and drinks. Rooms are not very big, but they are still cozy and nice. I suggest this hotel if you want to get a good emotion and very helpful staff.

Lo único que no nos gustó tanto fue que a los vecinos de las habitaciones contiguas se les oía todo. Pero algo que también sucede en hoteles de más prestigio. En general todo fue positivo.

Very nice staff, helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is small and cozy and very soon you start feeling homelike. The location is convenient; it took us about 10 minutes to walk to the beaches. The hotel has a lovely backyard where the breakfast is served. At nights it also operates as a restaurant with live music sometimes.

There is an air circuit or so in the bathroom which makes you hear perfectly well everything that's happening in other bathrooms. Sometimes we felt unpleasant smell in our bathroom as well. All balconies practically make one long balcony so you may experience lack of privacy.

Es un pequeño hostal con encanto con una terraza muy bonita y colorida.El personal es simpático y muy atento..nos ayudaron en elegir una playa que no estuviera abarrotada un domingo de temporada alta. Merecen una mención la chica de la recepción que a parte ayudarnos en reservar mesa en un restaurante fue muy agradable en toda nuestra estancia y la chica del desayuno, simpatica ,sonrientes que también supo aconsejarnos muy bien. Cuando se elige un alojamiento de este tipo es justo lo que uno debería encontrar, un buen servicio, cercano y personalizado en todo momento.Nuestra experiencia en este hostal fue muy buena. Colchones cómodos y cuarto de baños impolutos. Desayuno muy bueno y se puede disfrutar en la terraza.

The staff were so helpful, great knowledge about the local area and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The rooms were lovely and clean and the garden at the back is the best hidden aspect of the Horta Rosell. Best mojito from the bar I have tasted in years!!!!

Gostei muito da equipe do Horta Rossel. Eles foram muito atenciosos e demonstraram estar sempre atentos aos hospedes. O espaço também é bem legal, com um belo jardim na parte externa. A localização é boa, pois fica ao lado da estação de ônibus e menos de dez minutos da praia.

The location was perfect. Close to restaurants and the gorgeous beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size and newly renovated. Breakfast was lovely. Excellent value for money!!
