Verblijf in het hart van Lloret de Mar
Gran Hotel Flamingo ligt op slechts 150 meter van het strand van Lloret en heeft een buitenzwembad en een kleine supermarkt. Alle stijlvolle kamers zijn voorzien van een flatscreen-tv en een balkon met uitzicht op de stad of het zwembad.
De kamers van het Flamingo zijn eenvoudig en modern ingericht en voorzien van houten vloeren. Alle kamers hebben ook een kluisje, airconditioning en gratis WiFi.
In het buffetrestaurant van het Flamingo worden regionale en internationale gerechten geserveerd. Er worden ook thema-avonden gehouden. Het hotel heeft een lobbybar, een bar aan het zwembad en een danszaal.
Het personeel bij de 24-uursreceptie van het Flamingo kan een huurauto of vervoer van/naar de luchthaven regelen. U kunt u hen informatie vragen over Lloret en de Costa Brava. Het hotel heeft parkeergelegenheid.
Gran Hotel Flamingo ligt aan de belangrijkste boulevard van Lloret en in de buurt van tal van winkels, bars, clubs en restaurants. De golfbaan Angel de Lloret ligt 4 km verderop en met de auto bent u in 30 minuten bij de luchthaven van Girona. U rijdt in ongeveer 1 uur naar Barcelona.

Lloret de Mar is een ander belangrijk stadje van de Costa Brava en bovendien het vertrekpunt voor tochtjes naar prachtige plekjes.
Om va Santa Cristina naar Lloret de Mar te gaan moet men terug naar de hoofdweg via een zijweg die door een zacht glooiend, bekoorlijk landschap loopt. Als we dezelfde afstand over zee zouden afleggen zouden we langs de baai La Boadella en het eindlandje Illa dels Bots komen en de Punta del Canó, die naast buitenge-eigendom van doctor Raul Roviralta. Het is gebouwt in een veritaliaanste steil. Die schilder Domènec Carles heeft aan de bouw en decoratie ervan meegewerkt. In deze villa worden zeer waardevolle collecties, tapijten, schilderijen, miniaturen van schepen, en catalaanse ceramiek met zeemotieven bewaard. De tuinen met naar zee afdalende paadjes en trappen zijn op zich alleen al een verrukking.
Ten oosten verheft zich Santa Clotilde over Playa Fenals, een ruime ontzettend heldere baai waarmen gezellig kan zwemmen. Aan de noordelijke kant van dit strand bevinden zich de rotsachtige punt van Fenals en die van Banys, gevolgd door de rots van La Calavera, een verbastering van La Carabel·la (een lang en smal vaartuig met drie masten, gelijk aan dat waarmee Columbus zijn ontdekkingsreizen maakte) en de zuidoost punt van het, om vele motieven beroemde strand van Lloret de Mar.
Lloret de Mar is net als Blanes een iberische nederzetting, een comercieel centrum voor de grieken, verblijfplaats voor de romeinse zeevaarders, enz. en de geschiedenis gaat terug tot prehistorische tijden.
Actueel is Lloret de Mar een belangrijk toeristencentrum met 108 hotels, ondanks het feit dat de bevolking slechts iets meer dan 18.000 inwoners telt. Van de andere kant blijft deze goed geurbanisieerde gemeente zijn eeuwig karakter van een kleine stad met zeetradities behouden.
Vanaf Lloret de Mar begint de kust steeds wilder te worden en de wegen steeds minder gemakkelijk. De weg die de verbinding met Tossa de Mar vormt loopt noodgedwongen ver van de zee af, over de bergtoppen. Aan de kust, in aansluiting op Lloret de Mar, bevindt zich La Caleta, vanwaar men via een weggetje “dels Frares” geheten, in Cala d’en Trons aankomt.
Als men de kust over land verder wil volgen moet men langs een eenvoudig, tussen pijnbossen en akkers slingerend pad. Op deze manier kunnen we tot Cala Simo komen en als we dan over nóg een heuvel klimmen, tot Cala Gran. Wet verderop bevindt zich Punta de la Guaita, met daarachter het vriendelijke strand Playa de Canyelles en de niet minder prachtige en gezellige Cala Treumal en Cala Santa Cristina.

Patiko vieta, tvarka, maistas tikrai įvairus, ypač vakarienė. Rekomenduočiau imti pusryčius - 3 EUR. ir vakarienę 7 EUR. Už 10 EUR mieste išeis hamburgeris ir cola ir ledai. Picos trikampis gabalas pigiausiai -2,5 EUR. nepatiko , kad nėra sustojimo vietos automobiliams ( ženklo " galima stoveti 15 min prie viešbučio") nors autobusams yra. Neimanoma dėl to pakliūti į viešbutį atvažiavus, o turi po visą miestą ieškoti vietos sustoti ir temptis daiktus, o atvykus 2 val nakties tampytis su daiktais svetimam mieste pilname juodukų,nekoks jausmas. Taip pat naktį sunku rasti recepciją, nes įėjimas yra giliai kieme už baseinų ir yra uždari vartai iš gatvės ant kurių nieko nėra užrašyta , kad tai įėjimas į viešbutį. Toks vaizdas , kad viešbutis orientuotas į grupinį turizmą , o ne skirtas pavieniams klientams. Turėjom prašyt policininkų , kad leistų sustoti gatvėje ir prašyt , kad parodytų kaip pakliūt į viešbutį . Jei ne jie (tarp kitko, kaip ir Lietuvoje policija nemoka anglų klb., bet pirštais ir gestais susikalbėjom) sunkiai būtume suradę įėjimą.Toks pirmas nemalonus įspūdis. Budinčio portje nėra, tik security ir nešnekantys angliškai. Čia tokie nepatogumai , jei atvyksti naktį. |

персонал, в основном, компетентен и приветлив. еда приличная и пытается быть разнообразной. в номере убираются/меняют белье каждый день. есть бассейн отель привлекает достаточно низкой ценой, а потом пытается вырвать свое всеми доступными способами - платой за кондиционер, холодильник, wifi и тд. вокруг и внутри практически всю ночь достаточно шумно и если хорошие стеклопакеты спасают и вы готовы не открывать окна при не работающем кондиционере(у него свое расписание), то внутренняя шумоизоляция оставляет желать лучшего |

Clean room, renovated, no carpet floor. Location near the main beach and the shopping mall. No outside noise when windows closed. Many restaurants (incl. fastfood) nearby. Bus station onlay 5 Minutes to walk. Many roisting young guests espec. at night and in the early morning - not recommended for people over 35... Breakfast cheap but not worth more... automatic room-door closing is silly; closes always with a loud pang!, when not stopped. And many people dont stop the door run at night, coming from the party...Internet does not work very well. A/C only working from 10 am. to 1 pm and from 5 pm to 1 am. Pool small and very near to the footway. |

Close to the beach and shops. Nice pool. Relaxing areas within the hotel. Too noisy inside the hotel. Although rooms were soundproofed which stopped a lot of outside noise, the noise from revellers returning to their rooms at all hours of the night was not good. |

La posizione centrale è comoda per poter vivere a pieno la movida notturna senza la necessità di taxi o altri mezzi di trasporto. Nella camera doppia dove soggiornavo era posizionato un'ulteriore letto senza lenzuola che non faceva altro che occupare e diminuire il poco posto disponibile. In oltre la camera e la struttura non erano assolutamente adeguati alla classificazione dell'albergo (al massimo 3 stelle, ma molto tirate) Forse anche colpa del periodo particolare, dato che mi sono recato a lloret per partecipare ad un torneo internazionale di calcetto dove era presente una forte e maleducata maggioranza francese, il soggiorno non è stato assolutamente piacevole tra schiamazzi, musica e urla ad ogni ora del giorno e della notte. Ovviamente non posso incolpare l'albergo per il disturbo arrecatomi da altri clienti, ma da un'albergo 4 stelle mi aspetterei un minimo di controllo in più e, alla segnalazione ripetuta allo staff, almeno un pronto intervento per risolvere la cosa. Oltre tutto, la wifi a 4€ al giorno mi sembra un po' esagerata dato che poi funziona pure male... |

Me ha gustado mucho en general todo, el hotel que se ve que lo han reformado y la atención del persona en todos los departamentos. En el super pude comprar varias cremas que hacemos servir y demás a un precio razonable. No puedo decir que haya algo que no me haya gustado. |

Su localización céntrica y la proximidad a la playa. Su personal es muy atento y encantador. Se nota que el hotel está recientemente reformado rompiendo con los habituales hoteles de la costa por su decoración y estilo. Lástima que no lo hubiera conocido antes porque me ha sorprendido mucho Lloret de Mar es mejor destino de lo que mucha gente nos pensábamos. |
