Rocamaura is the imposing mountain overlooking the coastal village and port of l'Estartit. It's the cIosest peak of the Montgrí Mountains to the sea, it belongs to the natural park of the same name, and reaches 225 meters. It is possible to climb to the top on foot through the backside and also visit the nearby defence Tower Moratxa. On the peak you will enjoy the fantastic panoramic views of the plains of the Empordà, the Medes Islands, Cape of Begur, Pyrenees, Castle Montgrí much more. Visit highly recommended for those staying in l'Estartit and Torroella de Montgrí.
