MARAM is the Fishing Interpretation Center, an exhibition center enhanced by l'Escala fishermen open to the public. The aim is that the visitors can know this village fishing culture, so ancient. The beautiful building is located in l'Escala Harbour and offers a permanent exhibition about kinds of fish under these waters, the geographical situation of the village, next to Montgrí Mountains, and most of all the specific fishing techniques, all ecologically sustainable, used by this community.
