Olot is the capital of the Garrotxa region, a territory that extends next to the Pyrenees of high natural value. More specifically, around Olot is the Volcanic Natural Park, an area of nearly 12,000 ha which is evidence of an ancient volcanic and earthquake activity that left a great footprint on the landscape.
