Short Film Festival Mas Sorrer is celebrated in the midsummer during a weekend in this ancient manor between the villages of Gualta and Torroella de Montgrí. It's an excellent open-air environnement to watch cinema projections laying on a hammock and having a drink. More than 30 short films from more than 15 countries (this is an international festival) are projected and a jury give awards the last days to the best creators.

The Music Festival of Torroella de Montgrí village, in the center of the Costa Brava, is celebrated since 1980. During the months of July and August performances are organized traditionally in the Gothic church of Sant Genís, by musicians and singers of reputation.
